The purpose of this research is to identify how much motivation to learn and the types of learning styles used by students. The success of students in their learning process is influenced by learning motivation and student learning styles. The success of learning becomes a benchmark when determining the achievement of the teaching and learning process. Research samples were 30 students from 12 grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Gambiran, 30 students from 10 grade at SMA Negeri Jenggawah, and 30 students from 12 grade at SMA Negeri 1 Pesanggaran. This data collection was carried out for a week using a questionnaire. The questionnaire contains statements of student motivation and learning styles. All students in the sample were asked to fill in the choices that matched their statement of learning motivation and learning style. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis. These findings are based on the results of identification on motivation data and learning styles, so that there are two factors that influence learning motivation. These factors include internal factors and external factors.
