Abstract

The implementation of distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic caused various problems, especially in relation to the evaluation (assessment) process in student lectures at the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. Therefore it is necessary to have an alternative evaluation model that supports the good and effective distance lecture process, both for lecturers and students. This paper provides an overview of an evaluation model that can be used as a reference for lecturers in evaluating distance student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic that is hitting Indonesia. This research method is qualitative based on descriptive study, including the type of research library research. Researchers obtained data from interviews with student lecturers and parents and literature studies from various literature books, journals, scientific papers, and also other documents that assess the evaluation of distance lectures. The results of this study found several things, namely: (1) types of evaluation difficulties during lectures during the Covid-19 period, (2) lecture evaluation models during the Covid-19 pandemic, and (3) various obstacles faced in implementing evaluation during lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the creative-productive method oriented to local wisdom on the text-writing skills of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 38 Padang. The texts analyzed in this study are descriptive, fantasy stories, and procedures. The findings indicate that the texts written by students are not according to the structure and linguistic rules of the text that have been set. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods in the form of Pre-Experimental Design. The design in this research is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampling technique in this research is a simple random sampling technique. The sample in this research was class VII E about 32 students. Data collection was carried out in June 2021. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the creative-productive method oriented to local wisdom is effectively used for learning to write descriptive texts, fantasy stories, and procedures for seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 38 Padang. Based on the results of the comparison of the value of the hypothesis test, the creative-productive method oriented to local wisdom is most effectively applied to description texts, compared to fantasy story texts and procedural texts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan kaidah kebahasaan dalam teks prosedur yang ditulis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kaidah kebahasaan dalam teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Bayang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa kaidah kebahasaan dalam teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Bayang. Sedangkan sumber data penelitian ini adalah hasil tulisan teks prosedur siswa yang ditulis oleh siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Bayang yang berjumlah 22 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi. Teknik pengabsahan pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa jika dianalisis dari kaidah kebahasaan teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Bayang masih banyak ditemukan kesalahan. Penggunaan kalimat imperatif, konjungsi temporal, dan keterangan cara umumnya sudah tepat. Namun penggunaan penunjuk waktu dan deskripsi alat masih banyak yang belum tepat dan belum menggunakannya. Sedangkan penggunaan urutan langkah kegiatan dan kata teknis tidak digunakan pada teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Bayang. Hal ini relevan dengan penelitian yang dilakukan sebelumnya oleh Indah Rahma Fitri dan Zulfikarti yang menemukan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang belum mampu menggunakan kaidah kebahasaan teks prosedur dengan tepat.

Abstract

enelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh Pertama, siswa belum memiliki kemampuan untuk bisa menghasilkan sebuah teks eksposisi yang bisa menarik untuk dibaca oleh pembaca nantinya. Kedua, siswa belum ada yang menggunakan teknik kerangka karangan untuk menuliskan sebuah teks eksposisi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini adalah hasil tes unjuk kerja. Tes ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis teks ekposisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Solok Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Solok Selatan terdaftar pada tahun 2021/2022 berjumlah 127 orang siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling (Sampel bertujuan) jadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Solok Selatan kelas X IPS 2 yang berjumlah 29 orang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Solok Selatan dengan menggunakan teknik kerangka karangan tergolong Baik (B) dengan rata-rata 76,95 berada pada rentangan 76-85% pada skala 10. Selanjutnya kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Solok Selatan dengan menggunakan teknik kerangka karangan untuk masing-masing indikator (1) tesis tergolong sempurna (S) 98,85 berada pada rentangan 96-100%. (2) Rangkaian Argumentaasi tergolong Baik (B) 88,50 berada pada rentangan 76-85%. (3) kesimpulan tergolong baik (B) 80,46 berada pada rentangan 76-85%. (4) Pernyataan-pernyataan Persuasif tergolong Hampir Cukup (HC) 52,87 berada pada rentangan 46-55%. (5) Pernyatan yang Berupa Fakta/ Perujukan tergolong Hampir Cukup (HC) 52,87 Berada pada rentangan 46-55%. (6) Menggunakan Iatilah Teknis tergolong Lebih Dari Cukup (LdC) 73,56 Berada pada rentang 66-75%. (7) Menggunakan Konjungsi tergolong Baik (B) 85,06 berada pada rentang 76-85%. (8) menggunakan kata mental tergolong Baik (B) 77,01 Berada pada rentang 76-85%.
