Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini adalah rendahnya nilai menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. Belum adanya modul pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis inkuiri pada materi menulis teks prosedur di SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. Guru bahasa Indonesia kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang belum pernah membuat modul pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis inkuiri pada materi menulis teks prosedur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Modul Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Berbasis Inkuiri pada Materi Menulis Teks Prosedur yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Modul pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks prosedur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan 4D. namun, pada penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap ketiga yaitu tahap pengembangan (Develop) karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Subjek pada penenelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil validasi tergolong sangat valid yaitu 93,44, praktikalitas oleh guru tergolong sangat praktis yaitu 100,00, praktikalitas oleh siswa yaitu 99,27 dan efektivitas modul pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang dikembangkan tergolong baik karena 21 siswa tuntas dan 4 orang siswa yang tidak tuntas. Maka, modul pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang telah dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada materi menulis teks prosedur. Manfaat penelitian ini bagi penulis yaitu memperluas wawasan pengetahuan dan sebagai syarat untuk memperoleh gelar sarjana (S1). Bagi pembaca penelitian ini sebagai penambah wawasan ilmu pengetahuan. Penelitian ini juga dapat dijadikan referensi untuk penelitian pengembangan selanjutnya.

Abstract

The implementation of distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic caused various problems, especially in relation to the evaluation (assessment) process in student lectures at the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. Therefore it is necessary to have an alternative evaluation model that supports the good and effective distance lecture process, both for lecturers and students. This paper provides an overview of an evaluation model that can be used as a reference for lecturers in evaluating distance student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic that is hitting Indonesia. This research method is qualitative based on descriptive study, including the type of research library research. Researchers obtained data from interviews with student lecturers and parents and literature studies from various literature books, journals, scientific papers, and also other documents that assess the evaluation of distance lectures. The results of this study found several things, namely: (1) types of evaluation difficulties during lectures during the Covid-19 period, (2) lecture evaluation models during the Covid-19 pandemic, and (3) various obstacles faced in implementing evaluation during lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the creative-productive method oriented to local wisdom on the text-writing skills of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 38 Padang. The texts analyzed in this study are descriptive, fantasy stories, and procedures. The findings indicate that the texts written by students are not according to the structure and linguistic rules of the text that have been set. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods in the form of Pre-Experimental Design. The design in this research is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampling technique in this research is a simple random sampling technique. The sample in this research was class VII E about 32 students. Data collection was carried out in June 2021. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the creative-productive method oriented to local wisdom is effectively used for learning to write descriptive texts, fantasy stories, and procedures for seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 38 Padang. Based on the results of the comparison of the value of the hypothesis test, the creative-productive method oriented to local wisdom is most effectively applied to description texts, compared to fantasy story texts and procedural texts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reading material of Indonesian course by student and teacher in Senior High School. The type of reading is in the form of folklore in the West Sumatra area. This research used quantitativeapproach towards descriptive method. It is to describe the learning effect for students and teachers, where it is related to master a reading with critical reading learning using the Sharing Reading Literacy model. The research subjects were students of class X SMAN 15 Padang studying critical reading material and consisting of 10 classes. The instruments used were questionnaire sheets and interview guidelines. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that 74% of students need critical reading learning resources, 73% of student need critical reading learning media, and 58% of student need critical reading learning methods called Sharing Reading Literacy as required by the learning indicators. It shows that the local content text based sharing model affect the Indonesian Language course in Indonesian Senior High School.

Abstract

enelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh siswa masih belum mengerti tentang menulis teks laporan hasil observasi tersebut. Siswa kesulitan dalam mengembangkan kosa kata dan menentukan objek yang akan ditulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan model Problem Based Instruction (PBI) terhadap keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Punjung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini adalah One Group Pretes-Posttest Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 pulau Punjung yang berjumlah 27 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah skor keterampilan menulis teks teks laporan hasil observasi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model Problem Based Instruction (PBI) siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Punjung. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut ini. Pertama, Keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Punjung sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 59,76 pada kualifikasi Cukup (C). Kedua, Keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Punjung dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 79,01 pada kualifikasi Baik (B). Ketiga, berdasarkan uji-t diperoleh thitung > ttabel (7,72 >1,71). Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Punjung dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI) terdapat pengaruh menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI).

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi permasalahan yaitu keterampilan menulis cerita rakyat siswa masih rendah karena siswa kurang berminat dalam pembelajaran menulis terutama cerita rakyat karena bahasa yang digunakan tidak mudah untuk dipahami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, mendeskripsikan minat baca sastra sastra siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Gunung Talang. Kedua, mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis cerita rakyat siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Gunung Talang. Ketiga, mendeskripsikan hubungan minat baca sastra sastra terhadap keterampilan menulis cerita rakyat siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Gunung Talang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X IPS 2 yang berjumlah 22 orang. Data penelitian ini adalah skor tes angket minat baca sastra sastra dan skor menulis cerita rakyat siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Gunung Talang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, minat baca sastra Sastra siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Gunung Talang diperoleh nilai rata-rata hitung 75,74 dengan kualifikasi lebih dari cukup (LdC). Kedua, Keterampilan menulis teks cerita rakyat siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Gunung Talang diperoleh nilai rata-rata 78,95 dengan kualifikasi baik (B). Ketiga, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat baca sastra sastra dengan keterampilan menulis cerita rakyat siswa kelas X SMA N 2 Gunung Talang. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pengujian yang membuktikan bahwa thitung> dari ttabel yaitu 2,32 1,72.

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pengguanaan metode PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize, Test) terhadap keterampilan membaca cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Semen Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini adalah Posttest-Only Control Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Semen Padang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Semen Padang yang berjumlah 27 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah skor keterampilan membaca cerpen sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize, Test) pada siswa kelas XI SMA Semen Padang. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut ini. Pertama, tingkat keterampilan membaca cerpen sebelum menggunakan metode PQRST siswa kelas XI SMA Semen Padang memperoleh nilai rata-rata 77,41 dengan klasifikasi 76-85% yaitu Baik (BS). Kedua, keterampilan membaca cerpen sesudah menggunakan metode PQRST siswa kelas XI SMA Semen Padang memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88,00 dengan klasifikasi 86-95% yaitu baik sekali (BS). Ketiga, dari hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan bahwa penggunaan metode PQRST berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan membaca cerpen, hal ini terlihat bahwa hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima pada taraf signifikan 99% dan dk =n-1 karena thitung > ttabel (5,48 > 1,71). Dengan kata lain, terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode PQRST terhadap keterampilan membaca cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Semen Padang. This study aims to describe the effect of using the PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize, Test) method on the short story reading skills of the eleventh grade students of SMA Semen Padang. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental methods. The design of this research is Posttest-Only Control Design. The population of this study were all students of class XI SMA Semen Padang. The sample in this study were students of class XI SMA Semen Padang totaling 27 people. The data in this study are the scores of short story reading skills before and after using the PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize, Test) students in class XI SMA Semen Padang. The results of this study can be concluded as follows. First, the level of short story reading skills before using the PQRST method, class XI students of SMA Semen Padang obtained an average score of 77.41 with a classification of 76-85%, namely Good (BS). Second, the short story reading skills after using the PQRST method, the eleventh grade students of SMA Semen Padang obtained an average score of 88.00 with a classification of 86-95%, which is very good (BS). Third, from the results of data analysis that has been carried out that the use of the PQRST method affects short story reading skills, it can be seen that the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at a significant level of 99% and dk = n-1 because tcount > ttable (5.48 > 1 ,71). In other words, there is an effect of using the PQRST method on the short story reading skills of class XI students of SMA Semen Padang.
