Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat memberikan dampak signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, memudahkan pemrosesan data, analisis data, dan menghasilkan informasi relevan. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) dengan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) menjadi langkah strategis dalam pengambilan keputusan. Studi ini mengevaluasi aplikasi SAW pada seleksi karyawan baru PT. Technology Laboratories Indonesia dan mengintegrasikannya dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui studi lapangan dan studi pustaka. Hasil normalisasi dan perangkingan memberikan peringkat yang efisien dalam menentukan karyawan terpilih. Kesimpulannya, penerapan SAW pada SPK dapat menyederhanakan proses seleksi, meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan obyektivitas, memberikan dampak positif bagi pengelolaan organisasi, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih terinformasi.

Abstract

A Decision Support System (DSS) for Best Employee Determination Selection using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is an essential tool for enhancing employee performance and motivation. The awards given by companies to their best employees serve as a powerful incentive, driving each employee to consistently deliver their best work. To determine the best employee, companies assess performance over a specific period, considering various criteria. At Medan Tourism Polytechnic, these criteria include work behavior, work discipline, honesty, loyalty, and cooperation. The AHP method structures the decision-making process into a hierarchical model, allowing for systematic evaluation of alternative choices against the set criteria. By assigning weights to each criterion, AHP quantifies subjective assessments, providing an objective basis for comparing employees. This method ensures transparency and fairness in the selection process, promoting a culture of excellence and motivation among employees. Implementing a DSS with the AHP method not only simplifies the evaluation process but also ensures that decisions are based on measurable performance indicators. This fosters an environment where employees are encouraged to continuously improve their performance, contributing to the overall productivity and success of the organization. This system is integral in maintaining high standards and employee satisfaction within the organization.

Abstract

In the housing industry, data mining plays an important role in assisting the home loan application process by extracting knowledge from historical data, this process allows lenders to identify potentially high-risk home loan applicants and decide whether to approve or reject the loan application. Data mining helps in effective marketing strategies. By optimizing this process, response time to home loan applications can be accelerated, operational efficiency increased, and credit risk can be better managed. In the practice of providing KPR (Home Ownership Credit) to prospective consumers, there are possible problems that will occur like most other people, namely late installment payments or defaulted payments so that it will make it difficult for the bank to maintain the level of credit risk on the credit provided, this is because Mitra Griya Indah Housing has not paid much attention to data regarding the history of credit granting decisions, in other words, it has not maximally utilized data on previous credit granting decisions in supporting credit granting decisions. To solve this problem, the researcher designed a calculation information system. In this case the author uses the waterfall method in the research process. For system design, the author uses the PHP programming language with a database format using MySql. Finally, with this information system, it can facilitate the decision-making process for prospective customers of Home Ownership Credit.

Abstract

In today's digital age, restaurants or cafes face increasing competition and complex challenges. To stay relevant and succeed in this business, the use of data mining is crucial, as it becomes a valuable tool in optimizing sales, increasing customer satisfaction, and achieving long-term success in the restaurant and café industry. Data mining helps in effective marketing strategies. By analyzing customer data, purchase information, and preferences restaurants and cafes can identify different customer segments and create customized marketing. With so much sales transaction data, it will certainly be difficult if the data is analyzed manually, therefore information will be obtained if there is processing with the help of a system to get sales patterns. The results of this processing will produce transaction information to support product transaction decisions. To solve this problem, the researcher designed a calculation information system. In this case the author uses the waterfall method in the research process.  For system design the author uses the PHP programming language with a database format using MySQL. Finally, with this information system, the calculation process can be done automatically without the need to calculate manually is appropriate, provided that all data inputted is valid.

Abstract

Every year, around 400,000 people in Indonesia graduate from information technology colleges and vocational schools. The human resources produced do not meet the standards required by the industry today. To become a software developer, you must have strong abilities. SMK Free Methodist Medan students will gain a basic understanding of website structure, tools used to create websites, technological advances, career paths as web developers, how to design the appearance of a website, and learn to use the Laravel framework to become a reliable backend developer. According to the author, the results of community service at the SMK Free Methodist Medan with training bases and methods are very beneficial for students because of their high enthusiasm for participating. This training will teach participants various skills and knowledge about website development as a backend developer. Participants provided feedback that this training really helped them in preparing for a career as a web programmer, especially a backend developer

Abstract

Education has become the primary foundation for the young generation in the digital age. Through dedication to society, a positive contribution to the world of education can be realized. Although IT graduates are on the rise, most are not yet in line with industry standards. The development of soft skills has become crucial in producing successful graduates. Web development remains in demand, however, the gap between education and labour market demand needs to be overcome. This paper deals with "PHP CRUD Website Training for Private SMK Free Methodist Field Students" to enhance students' knowledge and skills. Participants are invited to understand the concepts of web development with PHP and career potential in the IT industry. This training has a positive impact on improving the knowledge and skills of students in web development as well as giving an overview of the potential career opportunities in the ICT industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimasi metode WASPAS dengan cara menerapkan metode AHP pada proses pembobotan kriteria. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan kinerja WASPAS dalam pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi metode WASPAS dalam hal pembobotan kriteria yang kurang optimal, sehingga diusulkan penggunaan AHP untuk meningkatkan konsistensi dan akurasi dalam pengambilan keputusan. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa hasil perankingan yang diperoleh yaitu nilai tertinggi 1,83 untuk Person-3 dan nilai terendah 0,769 untuk Person-4. WASPAS memberikan keputusan berdasarkan nilai kriteria input, dan pembobotan setiap kriteria secara signifikan sangat mempengaruhi hasil akhir. Oleh karena itu, optimalisasi WASPAS dengan memasukkan AHP untuk pembobotan menjadi sangat penting. Hasil pembobotan AHP konsisten dan seimbang, karena membandingkan tingkat kepentingan antara satu kriteria dengan kriteria lainnya. Studi ini menyimpulkan dan membuktikan bahwa melakukan optimasi dengan metode AHP pada proses pembobotan di metode WASPAS merupakan langkah yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan keandalan keputusan yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dalam aplikasi berbasis website guna mendukung proses penerimaan karyawan baru di PT. Technology Laboratories Indonesia (PT. Technolabs). Sejak didirikan pada tahun 2022, PT. Technolabs telah menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam proses seleksi karyawan, yang dilakukan secara manual. Proses manual ini rentan terhadap subyektivitas, ketidakkonsistenan penilaian, dan memakan waktu yang lama, sehingga menghambat efisiensi dan produktivitas perusahaan. Metode SAW dipilih karena kemampuannya yang efektif dalam menangani masalah-masalah tersebut melalui pendekatan penjumlahan tertimbang, yang memberikan bobot pada setiap kriteria penilaian. Dalam penelitian ini, kriteria yang digunakan mencakup pendidikan, pengalaman kerja, keterampilan teknis, dan kemampuan interpersonal. Aplikasi ini dirancang dengan antarmuka yang user-friendly, memudahkan pengguna dalam memasukkan data pelamar, menetapkan bobot kriteria, serta melihat hasil normalisasi dan perangkingan secara real-time. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berbasis SAW ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses seleksi dengan signifikan. Waktu pemrosesan yang sebelumnya memakan waktu lama dapat dipangkas, dan penilaian menjadi lebih akurat dan objektif. Pelamar dinilai berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan, dan hasil perangkingan memberikan panduan yang jelas bagi manajemen dalam membuat keputusan penerimaan karyawan. Selain meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi, aplikasi ini juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam bidang pengambilan keputusan berbasis teknologi. Implementasi metode SAW dalam aplikasi berbasis website ini tidak hanya bermanfaat bagi PT. Technolabs, tetapi juga dapat diadaptasi untuk berbagai keperluan seleksi dan penilaian lainnya di berbagai organisasi dan industri. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan model yang efektif dan efisien dalam seleksi karyawan, yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan kinerja perusahaan secara keseluruhan.
