Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of appropriate Eco Enzyme application on the growth and yield of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L). This study used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments, namely PO-control, P1 = 15 ml (1.5%) Eco Enzyme / 1 L water, P2 -30 ml (3 %) Eco Enzyme / 1 L water , P4 = 45 ml (4.5%) Eco Enzyme / 1 L water. And each treatment was repeated 4 times to obtain 16 polybags of experimental units. Observational data were analyzed using ANOVA, and if there is a significant difference then a Least Significant Difference (LSD) level of 5% is further tested. The results showed that the administration of various concentrations of Eco Enzyme on the growth and yield of lettuce plants had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, and fresh weight, with the best concentration being 4.5% (45 ml) Eco Enzyme / 1 L of water Keywords: Household Organic Waste, Ecoenzyme, Lactuca Growth. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Eco Enzyme yang sesuai terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L). Penelitian ini Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan taitu P0=kontrol, P1 = 15 ml (1,5 %) Eco Enzyme /1 L air, P2 = 30 ml (3 %) Eco Enzyme /1 L air, P4 = 45 ml (4,5%) Eco Enzyme / 1 L air. Dan setiap perlakuan di ulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga diperoleh 16 polibag satuan percobaan. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisi mengunakan Anova, dan dan jika terdapat perbedaan yang nyata maka dilakukan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian berbagai kosentarsi Eco Enzyme terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan bobot segar, dengan kosetrasi terbaik yaitu 4,5% (45 ml) Eco Enzyme / 1 L air. Abstract

Manure is a fertilizer that comes from a mixture of livestock manure, urine, and leftover animal feed. The purpose of the study was to see how the growth of lettuce plants that were given pig manure were incubated. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 9 treatments, namely T0 (control), T2 (0 weeks incubation without soaking), T1 (1 week incubation without soaking), T3 (2 weeks incubation without soaking), T4 (3 weeks incubation without soaking). without soaking), T5 (0 weeks of immersion incubation), T6 (1 week of soaking incubation), T7 (2 weeks of soaking incubation), T8 (3 weeks of soaking incubation), each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 27 experimental plants. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight, and root volume. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of organic fertilizer from pig manure which was incubated with immersion and without immersion had no significant difference to plant height, number of leaves, and root volume but significantly different to fresh weight of lettuce plants. Abstract

Liquid organic fertilizer is organic fertilizer in liquid form and is generally an organic substance dissolved in a solvent such as water. Organic fertilizers are not only in solid form in liquid form like inorganic fertilizers. This study aims to study the effect of noni liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of shallot plants and to determine the best dosage of noni liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of shallot plants. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD). In this experiment there were 4 treatments, namely P0 : 0% POC (without treatment), P1 : 10% liquid fertilizer made from noni, P2 : 20% liquid fertilizer made from noni, P3 : 30% liquid fertilizer made from noni. Each treatment was repeated 4 times to obtain 16 experimental plants. Parameters observed were plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves, fresh weight and dry weight. Noni fruit as POC did not significantly affect the growth and yield of shallots. The best concentration that can be used for shallots is 20% POC of noni fruit. Keywords. Organic fertilizer, POC, noni fruit, red onion Abstrak Pupuk organik cair adalah pupuk organik yang berbentuk cair dan umumnya merupakan bahan organik yang dilarutkan dalam suatu pelarut seperti air. Pupuk organik tidak hanya berbentuk padat dalam bentuk cair seperti halnya pupuk anorganik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh pupuk organik cair mengkudu terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah serta menentukan dosis pupuk organik cair mengkudu yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Pada percobaan ini terdapat 4 perlakuan yaitu P0 : 0% POC (tanpa perlakuan), P1 : 10% pupuk cair berbahan mengkudu, P2 : 20% pupuk cair berbahan mengkudu, P3 : 30% pupuk cair berbahan mengkudu. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga diperoleh 16 tanaman percobaan. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, jumlah daun, berat segar dan berat kering. Buah mengkudu sebagai POC tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah. Konsentrasi terbaik yang dapat digunakan untuk bawang merah adalah 20% POC buah mengkudu. Kata kunci. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of ecoenzymes from various basic ingredients of fruit peels on the growth of lettuce (Lactuca Sativa L). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments 3 replications, so there were 18 experimental unit parameters namely number of leaves, fresh weight and root weight. Observational data were analyzed statistically which were then further tested for BNT (smallest significant difference) at the 5% level.The results of the research that has been done can be concluded that the use of ecoenzymes from several kinds of fruit is effective for the growth of lettuca plants. The ecoenzyme concentration of several kinds of fruit used is 3% (30ml/1000 ml water). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 18 parameter satuan percobaan yaitu jumlah daun, bobot segar dan bobot akar. Data pengamatan dianalisis secara statistik yang selanjutnya diuji BNT (beda nyata terkecil) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan ekoenzim dari beberapa jenis buah efektif untuk pertumbuhan tanaman selada. Abstract

The red ginger plant (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) is one of the commodities needed in various food, beverages, and herbal medicines preparations. So indirectly red ginger is a plant that needs to be cultivated because it has economic value. Knowing the morphological characteristics of the red ginger plant is important for understanding the life cycle, geographical distribution, ecology, evolution, conservation, and definition of plant species. This study determined the morphological characteristics of local red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) in the Poso Pesisir sub-district, Central Sulawesi province. The time of the research was conducted from November to December 2022. Research using the method exploration by characterizing the morphological characteristics of red ginger plant aged  10 months. The results obtained a range of plant heights ranging from 43 - 123 cm. The stem length ranges from 27 - 96 cm. Leaf length ranges from 16 - 30 cm. For a wide range of leaves starting from 2,2 - 3 cm. Root length ranges from 12,7 - 47 cm. The weight of rhizomes per clump ranges from 75 - 175 g. From the appearance of details on the outside, the plant is almost uniform throughout and has diversity in the color of the leaves (green, yellowish green, green with yellow spots) and colored stems (dark green, yellowish green, green with yellow spots). This is influenced by the environmental conditions where plants grow. Keywords: Red Ginger, Characteristics, Morphology Abstrak Tanaman jahe merah (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) merupakan salah satu komoditas yang dibutuhkan dalam berbagai olahan makanan, minuman dan obat herbal. Jadi secara tidak langsung jahe merah merupakan tanaman yang perlu dibudidayakan karena memiliki nilai ekonomis. Mengetahui karakteristik morfologi tanaman jahe merah penting untuk memahami siklus hidup, distribusi geografis, ekologi, evolusi, konservasi, dan definisi spesies tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik morfologi jahe merah lokal (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) di Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November sampai Desember 2022. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksplorasi dengan mengkarakterisasi ciri morfologi tanaman jahe merah umur ± 10 bulan. Hasil yang diperoleh kisaran tinggi tanaman berkisar antara 43 – 123 cm. Panjang batang berkisar antara 27 – 96 cm. Panjang daun berkisar antara 16 – 30 cm. Untuk lebar daun mulai dari 2,2 - 3 cm. Panjang akar berkisar antara 12,7 - 47 cm. Berat rimpang per rumpun berkisar dari 75 - 175 g. Dilihat dari penampakan bagian luarnya, tanaman hampir seragam seluruhnya dan memiliki keragaman warna daun (hijau, hijau kekuningan, hijau berbintik kuning) dan batang berwarna (hijau tua, hijau kekuningan, hijau berbintik kuning). Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan tempat tanaman tumbuh. Kata Kunci : Jahe Merah, Karakteristik, Morfologi
