Abstract

This study aims to find out, analyze and describe the process of implementing morning activity and the implications of morning activity in fostering students' noble morals. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with a case study method. This study was conducted by taking data in the high class as the main subject through several data collections such as participant obervation, semistructured interviews, and questionnaires. The location of this study is at the UPI Pilot Laboratory Elementary School, Serang Campus. Based on the results of the study, 6 morning activity habituation programs were obtained including dhuha prayers, flag ceremonies, literacy, muraja'ah, tahfidz and tahsin, as well as jumroh / jumsih / skj. The implementation of this activity is carried out before class hours begin according to the schedule of daily activities and in the process of implementation is accompanied by the teacher. The implications of this morning activity on high-grade learners can be seen from the results of a questionnaire filled out by 36 respondents. The results showed that 84% of students answered appropriately and 16% of students answered incorrectly. This shows that there are very large implications of morning activity habituation for the development of noble morals of students, especially for students in grades IV, V, and VI.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Novo Learning in improving student English skills. The type of research used is a quantitative approach. As for the research population, it is the 2nd semester students of UPI Serang Campus who took English courses with a sample of 30 people. The questionnaire data collection technique uses the likert scale method. In addition, the data analysis techniques carried out by researchers are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that there is an influence of Novo Learning: English digital learning media in improving student English skills. This was proved through a simple linear regression test Y = 3.117 + 0.868 X with a correlation value of 0.842 and a regression coefficient validity test using a t test with a calculated ratio of 5.757 > a ttabel of 2.0452. In addition, Novo Learning has a contribution of 70.9% to the English skills variable and another 29.1% is influenced by other factors outside the Novo Learning variable.

Abstract

Evaluasi hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan ganda umumnya hanya mengukur kemampuan LOTS yaitu: mengingat, mengetahui, dan mengaplikasikan. Pengukuran hasil belajar siswa tidak hanya pada LOTS, tetapi juga HOTS. Hal ini membutuhkan bentuk instrumen pilihan ganda yang dimodifikasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan penulisan soal pilihan ganda beralasan berbasis HOTS dan mengetahui kepuasan guru SD Laboratorium UPI Kampus Serang setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan. Metode pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan, dengan dua sesi yakni sesi pertama pemberian materi terkait HOTS dan sesi kedua adalah presentasi dan refleksi hasil pembuatan soal HOTS yang dibuat guru SD. Kegiatan pelatihan ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yakni tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kuesioner kepuasan guru terhadap kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan menunjukkan guru mendapatkan pengetahuan materi dan kepuasan yang sangat baik dalam segi fasilitas pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aims at finding out how interactive Wordwall is in order to evaluate learning in improving students' cognitive. This data was obtained from 13 students of grade 4 of UPI Serang Pilot Laboratory. This study employed a mixed method. The results of the analysis were carried out through written test activities, Match Up games and Wordsearch games. This research was conducted by an experiment. Students carried out an evaluation with a written test first and then continued using the Wordwall Match Up game, students were asked to pair pictures with the correct statements and Wordsearch, students were asked to look for words about picture tools. The problems of the written test and Wordwall were different but still on the same level. Based on the results of the study, it discovers that Wordwall is one of the interesting media in evaluating learning and it is able to improve students' cognitive.
