Abstract

Education plays a role in character building. This study aims to determine, analyze, and describe the implementation of the Islamic Studies program, character values, and the implications of the Islamic Studies program on student character building. This research is a qualitative research with case study method. Data collection used: observation, interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: 1) in limited face-to-face learning, the implementation of the Islamic Studies program went well, 2) the character values ​​in the Islamic Studies program included: religious, hard work, responsibility, fond of reading, disciplined, independent, love peaceful, appreciative of achievement, and communicative, 3) the implementation of the Islamic Studies program has significant implications for the character building of students with 84% of students responding correctly and 16% of students answering incorrectly. The Islamic Studies program is recommended for other schools as an effort to build character.

Abstract

Abstract. The character of each individual is a reflection of a nation. Characters distinguish people's personalities from each other. Education is expected to be able to form an effective character because today there are many anomic behaviors that cause the moral degradation of the nation's children, including elementary school students. This study aims to describe character building habituation activities at Serang 13 Elementary School, named Kuliah Tujuh Menit (Kultum). Through this research, the researcher intends to find out the implications of the seven-minute education habituation program on fostering the character of students in Serang Public Elementary School 13 by knowing in advance the process of seven-minute education implementation and character values that appear in the habituation program. The research method used is qualitative with its type is a case study. In data collection researchers used observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire techniques. The results showed that the seven-minute education habituation program was held every Friday morning at 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. WIB, with students fully involved in the implementation. Character values that appear in this seven-minute education activity can be known through the contents of the material presented and the process of implementation. The results are the implications of seven-minute education activities on the development of student character, can be seen from the results of questionnaires distributed to 60 respondents of research subjects, with results showing that 95.55% of respondents answered the influence of seven-minute education habituation programs, and 4.45% of respondents answered no influence. Thus the habituation of Kuliah Tujuh Menit program is highly recommended as an alternative in fostering the character of elementary school students.Keywords: Character, Students, Elementary, Kultum

Abstract

Karakter menjadi faktor terpenting dalam pencapaian pendidikan.  Karakter tidak terbentuk secara tiba-tiba, melainkan perlu adanya pembiasaan secara rutin. Indonesia sebagai negara humanis menjunjung tinggi sikap gotong royong, tenggang rasa, saling menyayangi dan mengayomi. Namun, hal tersebut kini sedikit demi sedikit mulai memudar lantaran kurangnya kepedulian terhadap sesama. Peristiwa tersebut menjadi landasan terkuat untuk menerapkan pendidikan karakter yang harus ditanamkan sedari dini khususnya di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan serta menganalisis implikasi dari pembinaan karakter melalui program Jumat Amal yang telah di terapkan di SDN 5 Gunung Agung. Oleh karena itu, peneliti perlu memahami proses pelaksanaan serta nilai-nilai karakter yang termuat di dalamnya. Pendekatan yang digunakan yakni pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari  kepala sekolah, guru PAI, guru kelas serta siswa kelas V dan VI. Lokasi penelitian berada di desa Tunas Jaya tepatnya di SDN 5 Gunung Agung. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan menunjukan adanya nilai karakter yang muncul di dalamnya. Implikasi tersebut terlihat dari hasil kuesioner yaitu 95% siswa menjawab tepat sesuai dengan karakter yang diharapkan dan 5% siswa menjawab tidak tepat terhadap karakter yang diharapkan. Artinya program Jumat Amal terdapat keterlibatan dalam pembinaan karakter. Oleh sebab itu, program Jumat Amal menjadi alternatif kegiatan untuk membina karakter siswa.Kata kunci: Pendidikan karakter, Siswa, Jumat Amal

Abstract

This research purpose is to determine, identify, and describe the 1) process of implementation of the Clean Friday program; 2) the implication of the Clean Friday program on caring character building for the environment at Madani Elementary School. The research uses a kualitative approach with a case study method. Subjects researched were students in grades IV and V. The research location was at Madani Elementary School in Cilegon, Banten. The data collection techniques in this study were participant observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. In this research, it was found that 1) the process of implementing clean Fridays, namely routine cooperation activities, was carried out on Fridays at 13.00 WIB to clean the school environment with an estimated time of 15-30 minutes and accompanied by the teacher; 2) the implication of the Clean Friday program on student character building are seen from the questionnaire filled out by 49 respondents that 94% of students answered correctly and 6% of students answered incorrectly. Therefore, the Clean Friday program can be used as an alternative for the character building of care for the student's environment

Abstract

Moral education is the main foundation in preventing moral deviation, achieving the goal of life in a directed manner so that it becomes a superior person and has a noble morality. But today there are still many moral deviations committed by students ranging from low cases to criminality. The Prophet (pbuh) became an example in the cultivation of noble morals in each individual. Thus researchers are interested to analyze in depth about the concept of moral education of the Prophet Muhammad in the book sirah nabawiyah by Shaykh Shafiyyurrahman Al-Mubarakfuri. The research approach used is qualitative approach using literature study method. Data collection techniques in this study in the form of documentation studies, namely researchers read the book sirah nabawiyah by Shaykh Shafiyyurrahman Al-Mubarakfuri and trace other sources relevant to the topic of discuccion. The results showed that the book of sirah nabawiyah by Shaykh Shafiyyurrahman Al-Mubarakfuri contains the principles of moral education, including moral education in relation to Allah swt includes tawhid, love of God, repentance, piety, worship, patience, king’, tawadhu to Allah, gratitude, tawakal, pray to God, and dhikr. Moral education in relation to the Prophet(s) includes loving the Messenger, glorifying the Messenger, and obeying. Moral education in relation to oneself includes honesty, creativity, independence, discipline, responsibility, unyielding, and fondness for reading. Moral education in relation to others includes taawun, compassion and assertiveness, tasamuh, philanthropy, humble, forgiving, maintaining brotherhood, caring for others, cooperation, deliberation, and amar ma’ruf nahi munkar. As well as the methods used include conscientiousness, hanituation, advice, story, motivation and punishment. Based on the result of the analysis is expected to exemplify and be able to instill the noble morals of the Prophet(s) through the learning process of Islamic religious education in elementary school.Keywords: Moral Education, Sirah Nabawiyah, Islamic Education

Abstract

Class teachers are the closest and most intense parties in daily communication with students. In their duties and obligations as organizers, they are required to be able to create situations, lead, stimulate and move and direct teaching and learning activities. In addition, teachers must be parents of their students. Class teachers in elementary schools must prepare themselves and strengthen their competence in the science of Guidance and Counseling (GC) services. Community service activities in the form of workshops or workshops for classroom teachers in elementary schools, aim to provide practical knowledge and skills in student guidance service activities in elementary schools. This community service program activity is carried out in the form of a workshop or workshop, which consists of theoretical presentations and training in the preparation of GC work programs for elementary schools. The target audience were teachers and principals of Teaching Laboratory Elementary School -UPI Campus in Serang and teachers of State Elementary School of Tembong Serang, totaling 9 people. The results of this community service activity are: (a). understanding of the objectives and principles of guidance services in SD; (b) in understanding about the work program of guidance services in elementary schools; (c) teachers can practice how to make work programs for guidance services in elementary schools; (d) encourage teachers to carry out guidance service activities in elementary schools. The hope of this program is to create an ecosystem and improve the quality of guidance by classroom teachers in targeted primary schools.

Abstract

Pendidikan dapat menciptakan kualitas kehidupan yang lebih baik. Tetapi pendidikan sedang mengalami tantangan karena merosotnya nilai-nilai moral, karakter dan akhlak (adab) bagi peserta didik. Tanpa adab, manusia akan berbuat semaunya. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam kasus ini adalah pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter dapat diperoleh melalu ekstrakurikuler, salah satu yang dapat membina karakter siswa adalah ekstrakurikuler memanah. SDIT Ar-Risaalah mewajibkan seluruh siswanya untuk mengikuti ekstrakurikuler memanah. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti bermaksud untuk mengetahui, menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler memanah di kelas V SDIT Ar-Risaalah serta implikasi dari program tersebut terhadap karakter siswa terutama karakter calm, brave, focus, dan win. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, sedangkan subjek yang digunakan berfokus pada siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 28 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara semiterstruktur, studi dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan ini yaitu ekstrakurikuler memanah di kelas V dilaksanakan pada pekan ketiga hari kamis pukul 13.00-17.00 WIB dan hasil kuesioner yang memperlihatkan adanya implikasi ekstrakurikuler memanah terhadap karakter calm, brave, focus, dan win yang menunjukkan 82% responden menjawab tepat, hal tersebut diartikan bahwa sebanyak 82% siswa kelas V SDIT Ar-Risaalah Jakarta Barat memiliki karakter calm, brave, focus, dan win melalui ektrakurikuler memanah.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an merupakan kitab suci umat Islam yang memiliki fungsi dan tujuan antara lain sebagai penyejuk, sumber pokok ajaran Islam dan sekaligus sebagai peringatan. Agar manusia tidak tersesat dalam kehidupannya, Nabi Muhammad SAW memerintahkan manusia agar senantiasaberpegang teguh kepada al-Quran dan sunnahnya dengan cara mengamalkan dan mengaplikasikan keduanya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini ternyata disadari betul oleh SDS Peradaban Serang. Sekolah tersebut menyelenggarakan program tahfidz Al-Quran yang diterapkan mulai dari kelas I sampai kelas V. Melalui program tahfidz tersebut diharapkan lahir generasi qurani yang mencintai al-Quran dan beramal dengannya. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian studi kasus di SDS Peradaban Serang. Sebagai human instrument, peneliti berfungsi sebagai sumber data, melakukan pengumpulan data, menilai kualitas data, analisis data, menafsirkan data, dan membuat kesimpulan atas temuannya. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa program tahfidz al-Quran memiliki implikasi yang sangat signifikan terhadap pembentukan generasi qurani. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan angket yang diberikan kepada siswa, dari 20 butir pernyataan yang dibagikan kepada 14 siswa kelas VI A dan 14 siswa kelas VI B, sebanyak 84% pernyataan direspon dengan tepat sementara hanya 16% pernyataan lainnya yang direpon tidak tepat. Oleh karenanya program tahfidz ini dinilai memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam pembentukaa generasi qurani di era millennial ini.
