Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine alternative strategies in the development of bamboo handicrafts business in Pasirjambu Village Pasirjambu District in Bandung Regency. Method used survey with SWOT analysis. The results show that the total value obtained from the IFAS table is 6.40 (average 3.20) with a strength score of 3,550 and the weakness score of 2.850, it shows that the strength factor of the bamboo handicraft business is greater than the weakness factor, while the total value EFAS of 6.10 (average 3.05). A opportunity score of 3.10 and a threat score of 3.0. This means that the opportunity factor is greater than the threat factor. The result of calculation of rating value and internal factor weight of bamboo handicraft business development strategy in Pasirjambu Village as X axis equal to 0,100, while external factor as Y axis equal to 0,700. This means the right alternative strategy is the SO strategy. The SO strategy is a strategy that uses the power to take advantage of existing opportunities.Keywords : Bamboo craft, craftmanship of bamboo, SWOT analysis  STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN USAHA KERAJINAN BAMBU(Studi di Desa Pasirjambu Kecamatan Pasirjambu Kabupaten Bandung) ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi alternatif dalam pengembangan usaha kerajinan bambu di Desa Pasirjambu Kecamatan Pasirjambu Kabupaten Bandung. Metode yang digunakan survey dengan analisis SWOT. Hasil, menunjukkan bahwa total nilai yang diperoleh dari tabel IFAS  adalah 6,40  (rata-rata 3,20) dengan skor kekuatan 3,550 dan skor kelemahan sebesar 2,850, ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor kekuatan usaha kerajinan bambu lebih besar dari faktor kelemahan, sedangkan total nilai EFAS yaitu sebesar 6,10 (rata-rata 3,05).  Skor peluang 3,10 dan skor ancaman sebesar 3,0. Artinya faktor peluang yang dimiliki lebih besar dari faktor ancaman. Hasil perhitungan nilai rating dan bobot faktor internal dari strategi pengembangan usaha kerajinan bambu di Desa Pasirjambu sebagai sumbu X sebesar 0,100, sedangkan faktor eksternal sebagai sumbu Y sebesar 0,700. Artinya strategi alternatif yang tepat adalah strategi SO. Strategi SO adalah strategi yang menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Kata kunci : Kerajinan bambu, perajin bambu, analisis SWOT

Abstract

Strategi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru PTS dimulai dengan konsep mengenai bagaimanamenggunakan sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh lembaga secara lebih efektif dalam suatu lingkunganyang sedang berubah. Pembuat strategi harus siap menyeleksi sasarannya sesuai dengan arusutama perubahan, sehingga perlu untuk menganalisis implikasi perubahan-perubahan sosialdalam penentuan suatu strategi. Analisis lingkungan untuk memperhatikan kecenderungankesempatan dan ancaman yang dihadapi. Strategi PMB PTS didisain untuk memastikan bahwatujuan manajemen pendidikan dapat dicapai melalui tindakan yang tepat, sehingga sukses ataugagalnya pencapaian tujuan bergantung pada strategi yang digunakannya. Perencanaan strategidan pelaksanaan strategi perlu dikombinasikan untuk mencapai sukses.Kegagalan suatu strategi PMB PTS kemungkinan disebabkan tujuan tidak realistis,kesalahan strategi yang dipakai, dan strategi yang dipakai benar tetapi pelaksanaan tidak berhasilmencapainya. Walaupun tecapainya tujuan belum membuktikan kebenaran strategi karenakesulitan untuk mengukur unsur-unsur tertentu dari strategi yang sinergetik.Kegiatan promosi merupakan kegiatan membangun komunikasi antara sekolah dengancalon mahasiswa atau keluarganya dengan tujuan untuk mempengaruhi keputusan merekadalam memilih suatu sekolah. Dengan demikian, dalam kegiatan promosi terdapat unsur apayang diinformasikan, media komunikasi yang digunakan, dan kepada siapa informasi tersebutdisampaikan. Di samping itu, terdapat pula kegiatan promosi untuk meningkatkan mahasiswabaru yang terdaftar melalui pendekatan sales promotion, seperti dengan penetapan biaya yangdibebankan kepada mahasiswa lebih rendah dari PTS lain. Kegiatan ini dimaksudkan untukmeng-counter PTS lain yang menjadi «saingan».PTS-PTS besar dan kuat di Jawa Barat tahun 2010 umumnya telah melakukan kegiatanpromosi dengan memperhatikan aspek strategis, yaitu menganilisis situasi intern dan ekstern,penetapan tujuan, pemilihan dan penetapan strategi, mempertimbangkan komponen biayapendidikan, lokasi dan optimalisasi promosi. Namun untuk PTS-PTS kecil dan lemah, hal tersebutbelum dilakukan sepenuhnya. Promosi yang dilakukan baru pada kegiatan penyebaran brosurdan iklan di media cetak atau elektronik saja, alasannya adalah keterbatasan dana dan SDM.

Abstract

The development of technology that is increasingly sophisticated and facilitates human work in all fields, is put to good use by people who understand the huge positive impact it has. The use of adaptive E-Learning content to enhance learning will have a major impact on Education. The adaptive E-Learning system was developed on the assumption that individual learning models are able to provide better results than other learning models. Therefore, the learning process in today's era can no longer be done traditionally, it must be able to adapt to the times. Educators must be able to balance it with methods that suit the needs of students. So that they can develop their potential and be able to have high self-esteem. As well as being able to be competitive and compete with many people of their age for creative content. The data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The questionnaire was made using the Google form with 15 statements about the effectiveness of E-Learning in learning. The results of this study explain that it is proven that the development of E-Learning content that is maximally adaptive according to existing procedures, can increase the effectiveness of learning by educators for students. This will realize that learning can be achieved in accordance with what has been set. The method used in this study is a quantitative method by collecting population and samples. The conclusion from this study is that the development of adaptive E-Learning content is proven to be implemented properly and efficiently to increase the effectiveness of learning in the classroom. The limitation of this research is that researchers only conduct this research at the elementary school level, which incidentally requires the use of adaptive E-Learning technology in the learning process, which is of course very beneficial for educators and students to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Background. Modern higher education institutions are faced with complex challenges in developing curricula that suit students’ needs and interests. To overcome this challenge, artificial intelligence-based recommendation systems are an attractive alternative. This system can help students in selecting courses, providing suggestions that suit their interests and needs. Purpose. This research aims to understand students’ experiences and views on recommendation systems in selecting courses in higher education, with a focus on system effectiveness, level of student trust, and ease of use. The main objective is to identify the impact of recommendation systems on students’ academic decisions. Method. The research used a quantitative survey method of 20 students at universities by collecting data through online questionnaires. The results of the analysis show that the majority of respondents are experienced with the recommendation system, rely on it in selecting courses, and tend to follow the recommendations, as well as showing user satisfaction and the influence of the system on academic decisions. Results. The results of the study show that artificial intelligence-based recommendation systems play an important role in guiding students in their academic decision-making. However, there is a need for a deeper understanding of the factors that influence user satisfaction and system effectiveness. The interim conclusion emphasizes the need for further development and adjustment of the course recommendation system in order to increase its responsiveness to student needs. Conclusion. This conclusion is the basis for deeper reflection and the development of a course recommendation system that can more effectively meet student expectations and needs in the ever-developing era of higher education. In this way, this research has the potential to make a significant contribution to the development of more adaptive and responsive academic decision support systems.
