Abstract

The development of technology that is increasingly sophisticated and facilitates human work in all fields, is put to good use by people who understand the huge positive impact it has. The use of adaptive E-Learning content to enhance learning will have a major impact on Education. The adaptive E-Learning system was developed on the assumption that individual learning models are able to provide better results than other learning models. Therefore, the learning process in today's era can no longer be done traditionally, it must be able to adapt to the times. Educators must be able to balance it with methods that suit the needs of students. So that they can develop their potential and be able to have high self-esteem. As well as being able to be competitive and compete with many people of their age for creative content. The data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The questionnaire was made using the Google form with 15 statements about the effectiveness of E-Learning in learning. The results of this study explain that it is proven that the development of E-Learning content that is maximally adaptive according to existing procedures, can increase the effectiveness of learning by educators for students. This will realize that learning can be achieved in accordance with what has been set. The method used in this study is a quantitative method by collecting population and samples. The conclusion from this study is that the development of adaptive E-Learning content is proven to be implemented properly and efficiently to increase the effectiveness of learning in the classroom. The limitation of this research is that researchers only conduct this research at the elementary school level, which incidentally requires the use of adaptive E-Learning technology in the learning process, which is of course very beneficial for educators and students to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the Russian attack on Ukraine that occurred on February 24, 2022, which resulted in instability in the global stock market. This study aims to determine the reaction of the stock market in ASEAN countries to the event of Russia's invasion of Ukraine by comparing the abnormal value of returns before and after the event. Using quantitative methods based on the event study approach, this research was conducted on six ASEAN stock markets, namely Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand with an observation period of 30 days before and after the Russian-Ukrainian invasion. The data analysis techniques used in this study were normality tests and different tests with the Paired Sample T-Test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of the two different tests carried out showed abnormal return values that tended to be positive and insignificant. This means that the stock market reaction of ASEAN countries to the events of Russia's invasion of Ukraine is not so great or the information content is not very strong. In another sense, the announcement of this event does not put pressure on investors on the ASEAN stock market. The results of this study can help investors to see and evaluate the development of the stock market in ASEAN countries. This research can be a consideration for investors to see the resilience of ASEAN stock markets to an event that occurs.

Abstract

In today's digital era, security and efficiency in attendance management in the school environment are very important. Biometric technology has become a new trend in improving security and optimizing the attendance recording process, replacing manual systems prone to errors and fraud. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of applying biometric technology in school attendance and security management. Specifically, this research focuses on evaluating how this technology can reduce cheating, increase the accuracy of attendance data, and strengthen school security systems. This research uses quantitative methods with a case study approach at five schools implementing a biometric system. Data was collected through surveys of school administrators and direct observation of the registration and identity verification processes at these schools. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics. This research shows that using biometric technology significantly increases the efficiency and accuracy of the attendance recording system. Student attendance is recorded quickly and accurately, with virtually no cheating. This technology also strengthens the security system by ensuring that only verified individuals can access school facilities. This research concludes that applying biometric technology in school attendance and security management has proven very effective. This technology optimizes attendance and improves security, providing a safe environment for students and staff. The research recommends wider adoption of biometric technology in other schools to improve security and operational efficiency.

Abstract

Background. Education in the 21st century has experienced significant changes with the development of digital technology. The use of media and technology in the learning process is becoming increasingly important to meet the demands of the times. One of the innovations that has emerged is the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), an online learning platform that provides open access to learning materials from various fields globally. MOOCs promise great flexibility and accessibility, which can increase participation in education. Purpose. This research aims to investigate the effect of MOOC learning duration on the achievement of educational students’ learning objectives. Method. The research method used is a quantitative approach with survey methods. A total of 30 education student respondents who had taken MOOC courses were the research subjects. Data was collected by filling out a questionnaire distributed via the WhatsApp group. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles Huberman technique to investigate the relationship between MOOC learning duration and achievement of learning objectives. Results. The research results showed that the majority of participants felt that the MOOC learning duration provided benefits in understanding the learning material and increasing their learning motivation. However, some participants felt neutral regarding the contribution of learning duration in completing assignments and exams. The majority of respondents did not feel a significant impact of longer duration on achieving higher learning goals.   Conclusion. Although MOOC learning duration provides benefits in understanding the material and learning motivation, there are several aspects that need to be considered. The role of other factors such as the quality of learning materials and interaction between participants and instructors may be more important in achieving learning objectives. Therefore, course organizers need to continue to monitor participant feedback and evaluate the learning duration offered to improve the learning experience in MOOCs.
