Abstract

Since the first case in Indonesia, the government has directly handled it by implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) from March 2020 to May 2020. In it, it is regulated to limit activities and stop mass activities. One of them is the city of Banjarmasin due to the highest number of cases in Banjarmasin 70 percent of the Covid-19 cases are in the city of Banjarmasin, making the city of Banjarmasin a red zone which has a very significant impact on all sectors. As the city center, the city of Banjarmasin makes the industrial, trade, service and tourism sectors the mainstay of the economy. Of course, this sector requires a large number of people, so this sector is greatly affected by the social distancing regulations. Since the onset of COVID-19, economic growth in Gudang Hirang Village has experienced a very significant decline. If more and more households lose their jobs, the more households will lose their income, which will have an impact on household consumption. When household income decreases, household consumption also decreases. One of the problems we encountered was mainly in terms of the economy. Very minimal income by relying on agricultural products causes the local economy to be less stable, so that the use of agricultural products, namely rice, to improve skills and the economic value of rice is increasing. By making preparations of rice soap and green tea leaf extract, the community becomes innovative by utilizing natural ingredients in the village to improve the economy of the people of Gudang Hirang Village RT 05. Together with representatives of residents who have previously received education on the efficacy of the ingredients used to make liquid soap from rice and green tea leaf extract which can treat itching. Making liquid soap from rice and green tea leaf extract to improve the economy and overcome skin itching was seen to be useful for cadres because they could understand and be able to participate in making liquid soap, which can be seen from the results of the questionnaire before and after the training on making liquid soap from rice and green tea leaf extract. The increase in the success percentage of the program was from 20.8% to 91.30%  Sejak kasus pertama di Indonesia, pemerintah langsung melakukan penanganan dengan menerapkan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) dari Maret 2020 hingga Mei 2020. Didalamnya diatur agar pembatasan aktivitas dan dihentikan kegiatan yang bersifat massal. Salah satunya kota Banjarmasin akibat jumlah kasus terbanyak di Banjarmasin 70 persen dari kasus covid-19 berada di kota Banjarmasin, membuat kota Banjarmasin menjadi zona merah yang berdampak sangat signifikan kepada semua sektor. Sebagai pusat kota, kota Banjarmasin menjadikan sektor industri, perdagangan, jasa dan pariwisata sebagai andalan perekonomian. Tentunya, sektor ini yang terdampak akibat adanya peraturan social distancing. Semenjak adanya covid-19, pertumbuhan ekonomi di Desa Gudang Hirang mengalami penurunan yang sangat signifikan. Semakin banyak rumah tangga kehilangan pekerjaan, maka maka semakin banyak kehilangan pendapatan sehingga berdampak kepada konsumsi rumah tangga. Konsumsi rumah tangga juga ikut menurun. Salah satu permasalahan yang kami dapati terutama dalam hal perekonomian. Pendapatan yang sangat minim dengan mengandalkan hasil pertanian menyebabkan perekonomian masyarakat daerah kurang stabil, sehingga pemanfaatan bahan hasil pertanian yaitu beras untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan nilai ekonomi menjadi semakin naik. Dengan membuat sediaan sabun beras dan ekstrak daun teh hijau masyarakat menjadi inovatif dengan memanfaatkan bahan alam yang ada di desa untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Desa Gudang Hirang RT 05. Bersama perwakilan warga yang sebelumnya sudah mendapatkan edukasi khasiat dari bahan yang digunakan untuk pembuatan sabun cair dari beras dan ekstrak daun teh hijau yang dapat mengatasi gatal-gatal. Pembuatan sabun cair dari beras dan ekstrak daun teh hijau untuk meningkatkan perekonomian dan mengatasi penyakit gatal-gatal pada kulit terlihat kebermanfaatannya oleh kader karena dapat memahami dan mampu ikut serta dalam pembuatan sabun cair tersebut, yang dapat dilihat dari hasil kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah diadakannya pelatihan pembuatan sabun cair dari beras dan ekstrak daun teh hijau. Kenaikan persentase keberhasilan dari program tersebut adalah dari 20,8% menjadi 91,30%.

Abstract

Genus of Dendrobium orchid produces secondary metabolites namely medicinal alkaloid, the main alkaloid in dendrobium is dendrobine. Orchid plant parts that contain secondary metabolites in large quantities are in the form of protocorm like bodies (PLB). This research is about how to do an initiation of PLB from the seed of Dendrobium sylvanum. The aim of this research is to determine the concentration of giberelin (GA3) in Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium for PLB optimal initiation. Seed culture was cultivated in MS medium supplemented with GA3 in 3 concentrations: GA3 1 ppm; GA3 2 ppm; and GA3 4 ppm. The result showed the concentration that can give the optimal growth is GA3 1 ppm based on the appeareance of PLB, colour of PLB, diameter of PLB, growth index, and anatomy of PLB.

Abstract

Pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam penelitian tindakan masih kurang, menurut sebuah penelitian. Guru, di sisi lain, merasa kesulitan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan kelas selama masa pandemi ini. Selama pandemi COVID-19, dukungan harus diberikan dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan. Jika terjadi pandemi COVID-19 di masa mendatang, dukungan ini dimaksudkan untuk membantu guru meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam mengorganisir, mengelola, mempresentasikan, dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas. Presentasi kuliah, percakapan tatap muka, dan dialog online dan offline) digunakan untuk menerapkan teknik pendampingan. Kemudian dilakukan analisis deskriptif terhadap data tersebut. Guru dari TK dan SD Namira di Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur mengikuti berbagai kegiatan di sekolah tersebut. Ada peningkatan penelitian tentang sifat analisis data tindakan, serta peningkatan kemampuan untuk merencanakan dan melakukan penelitian tindakan di kelas. Terdapat peningkatan pengembangan instrumen penelitian tindakan sekolah, serta peningkatan penyajian hasil penelitian. Peningkatan kompetensi guru dari kategori “baik” (64%) menjadi “sangat baik” (92%).

Abstract

Background: White jasmine flower extract has antimicrobial activity against the growth of acne bacteria. To make it easier to use it is necessary to make pharmaceutical preparations, one of which is cream. The cream has the advantage that it is easy to apply to the skin, is not sticky and is easily washed off with water. Cream preparations were made with variations of adeps lanae base to obtain an optimal and stable formulation. The stability of the cream will be damaged if the mixture system is disturbed by changes in temperature, composition or the addition of one of the phases in excess. Objectives: To determine the optimal formulation and to analyze the physical and chemical stability of cream formulations with varying concentrations of adeps lanae base. Methods: This study used a true experimental design with a completely randomized design. The cream is formulated with various concentrations of adeps lanae, namely 3%, 5%, 8%. The stability test using the cycling test method included organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, adhesion, dispersibility, viscosity and emulsion type before and after. Results: The results showed that the variation in the concentration of adeps lanae did not show any difference in organoleptic, homogeneity, spreadability and emulsion type, but there were differences in pH, viscosity, and adhesion. The results of statistical tests showed a value of > 0.05 which indicated that there was no significant difference in the dispersion power and there was a significant difference in the value of <0.05 in pH, viscosity and adhesion to variations in the concentration of adeps lanae. Conclusion: The optimal formulation before the cycling test was formulation II and III with 5% and 8% base concentrations of adeps lanae. After the cycling test, the characteristic results showed that it was unstable. Variations in the concentration of adeps lanae on the cream base indicate that there are differences in physical and chemical stability.

Abstract

Background: Lipbalm is a preparation commonly used for lips that useful as a moisturizer, decorative, and protect lips environmental influences, and prevents evaporation of the ephitelial cells of mucosa lips. Red beetroot is a ppurplish red plant that contains antioxidant betacyanin. Objective: Identify the formulation of the reed beetroot extract (Beta vulgaris L.) lipbalm based on evaluation results and identify the effect of various concentration of cera alba based on evaluation result. Methods: The research design use a experimental research with quasy experimental with one group post-test only which compare variation of concentration of cera alba to the lipbalm formulation of red beetroot extract (Beta vulgaris L.) as an antioxidant. Results: In the preparation of red beetroot extract (Beta vulgaris L.) lipbalm obtained 4 formulation where formulation I, II, III, and IV met the specifications for organoleptic, homogeinity, adhesion, dispersibility, and pH. Evaluation result of the formulation of lipbalm preparation of red beetroot extract (Beta vulgaris L.), variation in the concentration of cera alba affect the result of the physical and chemical evaluation. Conclusion: Preparation of red beetroot extract (Beta vulgaris L.) lipbalm where formulation I, II, III, and IV met the specifications for organoleptic, homogeinity, adhesion, dispersibility, and pH. The evaluation result of the lipbalm formulation of red beetroot extract (Beta vulgaris L.) theres an effect of variation in concentration of cera alba as base for physical and chemical evaluation. Abstract

Lime peel extract contains quercetin with sunscreen activity. It could make into gel preparations, which has a transparent semisolid and generally gives a cooling sensation to the skin. A combination of semi-refined carrageenan and glucomannan as a gelling agent can be an alternative to form the strength and elasticity of the gel mass. This study aimed to determine the effect of concentration variations of gelling agents on the physical evaluation of gel preparation results and the optimal formulation for lime peel extract gel as sunscreen. Lime peel extract would make into gel preparation with variations in the concentration of the gelling agent, which are 1%, 1.25%, 1.5%, and 1.75%. Afterward, the physical evaluation included organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, spreadability, and adhesion tests. The organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, and adhesion test results show that all formulations meet the requirements. Viscosity test results obtain the best formula III with 3940,00 cPs at 60 rpm . The results of the dispersibility test show the best formulas I and II with 6,10 cm and 5,50 cm. Based on the data analyzed, variations of gelling agents affect the pH, viscosity, spreadability, and adhesion test results. The optimal lime peel extract gel formulation has not defined from the physical evaluation results.

Abstract

Bitter gourd extract (Momordica charantia L) contains secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, alkaloids, and saponins that can be antibacterial against acne-causing bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes). Momordica charantia L., could make into facial toner preparations to prevent the emergence and worsen acne. It is formulated with various concentrations of polysorbate 20 and performs stability testing. This study aimed at the optimal formula and analyzed the variations in the concentration effect of polysorbate 20 on the bitter gourd extract facial toner preparation. Bitter gourd extract would make into facial toner preparation with variations in the concentration of polysorbate 20. The accelerated stability test with the cycling test method includes before and after organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, and pH tests. The organoleptic stability result shows both stable formulas had the same liquid form, clear brown color, and characteristic rose odor. All formulations are stable on homogeneity, in which the particles are evenly mixed. The Formula I viscosity value is constantly stabilized and meets the parameters, while formula II is not but meets the parameters. The pH stability values of both formulas are stable and meet the parameters. Formula I is more optimal than formula II and the difference in surfactant concentration of polysorbate 20 has no effect on organoleptic, homogeneity, and pH but will affect viscosity.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on partners and they want to innovate businesses that are needed by the community, namely herbal products that can increase endurance but are more durable and can be stored. Methods with education and practice of making traditional herbal instant powder preparations by conventional means of crystallization by heating and adding granulated sugar. Jamu powder is packaged and labeled as partners. Business licensing assistance has been carried out and has sold it directly or digital marketing with Instagram and WhatsApp promotional posters. Raw material efforts are assisted by cultivating the immunomodulator TOGA in the partner's yard. Evaluation of education by conducting a pre-test and post-test with the results obtained an increase in the category of good knowledge level by 58%. Evaluation of production that sells a lot is red ginger instant powder, while TOGA cultivation thrives waiting for harvest age. Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak terhadap mitra dan menginginkan berinovasi usaha yang diperlukan  masyarakat yaitu produk herbal yang bisa meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh tapi lebih awet dan bisa disimpan. Metode dengan edukasi dan praktek pembuatan sediaan serbuk instan jamu tradisional dengan cara konvensional kristalisasi melalui pemanasan dan penambahan gula pasir. Serbuk jamu dikemas dan diberi label mitra. Pendampingan perijinan usaha sudah dilakukan dan sudah menjualnya secara langsung maupun marketing digital dengan poster propmosi  Instagram dan whattshap. Upaya bahan baku dibantu dengan budidaya TOGA imunomodulator di lahan pekrangan mitra. Evaluasi edukasi dengan melakukan pre-test dan post-test dengan hasil diperoleh kenaikan kategori tingkat pengetahuan baik sebesar 58%. Evaluasi produksi yang banyak terjual yaitu serbuk instan jahe merah, sedangkan budidaya TOGA tumbuh subur menunggu usia panen.

Abstract

AbstrakUmbi bit (Beta vulgaris L) ialah tumbuhan yang dapat digunakan sebagai perona natural sebab memiliki betalanin sebagai melamin warna merah yang juga dapat bertugas sebagai antioksidan. Antioksidan bermanfaat mencegah kulit akibat negatif aspek luar serta menaikkan pembuatan kolagen kulit yang akan melindungi kekenyalan, fleksibilitas, dan kehalusan kulit (anti-aging). Blush on yang berupa stick serupa dengan lipstik, creamy, alhasil sesuai untuk seluruh tipe kulit. Tujuan riset ini menganalisis formulasi serta evaluasi sediaan blush on stick ekstrak umbi bit (Beta vulgaris L) yang maksimal. Metode riset yang dicoba merupakan quasy experimental design dengan konsep riset one group posttest- only design. Waktu penelitian dimulai dari bulan Oktober 2021–Mei 2022. Lokasi riset terletak di Laboratorium Teknologi Farmasi Universitas Sari Mulia Banjarmasin. Blush on stick ekstrak umbi bit diformulasi dengan 3 variasi Fokus dasar lilin carnauba 10%, 20%, serta 30%. Setelah itu dilakukan penilaian meliputi percobaan organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar, serta kemampuan lekat. Hasil penilaian dalam percobaan organoleptis seluruh formulasi berwarna coklat serta beraroma mawar, kestabilan FI dan FII lembut serta FIII kaku. Percobaan homogenitas seluruhnya homogen. Percobaan pH seluruhnya memenuhi detail pH 4,5–6,5. Percobaan kemampuan sebar FI memenuhi spesifikasi 3–5 cm ialah 3,3 cm. Percobaan kemampuan lekat seluruh formulasi memenuhi detail 4 detik. Variasi konsentrasi dasar lilin carnauba mempunyai akibat pada penilaian sediaan blush on stick. Bersumber pada evaluasi formula yang maksimal merupakan F1 dengan konsentrasi lilin carnauba sebesar 10%. Simpulan, formulasi yang optimal berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pH, daya sebar, dan daya lekat adalah formulasi I dengan konsentrasi basis 10%.Kata kunci: Blush on stick, ekstrak umbi bit, formulasi, lilin carnaubaFormulation and Evaluation Of Blush on Stick Preparations Beetroot Extract (Beta Vulgaris L) As AntioxidantsAbstractBeetroot (beta vulgaris L) is a plant that can be used as a natural dye because it has betalanine as a red melamine which can also act as an antioxidant. Antioxidants are useful in preventing the skin from negative external effects and increasing the production of skin collagen which will maintain skin elasticity, flexibility and smoothness (anti- aging). The blush in the form of a stick is similar to lipstick, creamy, so it is suitable for all skin types. The purpose of this research is to analyze the formulation and evaluation of the maximum beetroot (beta vulgaris L) extract blush on stick. The research method being tried is quasy experimental design with the research concept of one group posttest-only design. The research period starts from October 2021–May 2022. The research location is located at the Pharmaceutical Technology Laboratory, Sari Mulia University, Banjarmasin. Beetroot extract blush stick is formulated with 3 variations of carnauba wax base focus of 10%, 20% and 30%. After that, an assessment was carried out including organoleptic experiments, homogeneity, pH, spreadability and adhesion ability. The results of the evaluation in the organoleptic experiment of all formulations were brown and rose-scented, the stability of FI and soft FII and stiff FIII. The homogeneity experiment is completely homogeneous. The pH test fully complied with the details of pH 4.5–6.5. The test for the ability to spread FI to meet the specifications of 3–5 cm was 3.3 cm. The adhesiveness test of all formulations fulfilled the 4 second detail. Variations in the base concentration of carnauba wax have an impact on the evaluation of blush stick preparations. Based on the evaluation of the optimal formula is F1 with a carnauba wax concentration of 10%. Conclusion, the optimal formulation based on the evaluation results of pH, spreadability and adhesion is formulation I with a base concentration of 10%.Keywords: Beetroot extract, blush on stick, carnauba wax, formulation

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Menurut WHO diare merupakan penyebab kematian ke-2 pada balita. Di Indonesia diare dikarenakan, salah satunya bakteri Shigella.flexneri. Secara empiris masyarakat di Tabalong, Kalimantan Selatan menggunakan kulit laban sebagai obat sakit perut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak kulit kayu laban serta menentukan nilai konsentrasi ekstrak yang mampu menghambat dan membunuh bakteri Shigella flexneri. Peneltian ini menggunakan True Eksperimental Design dengan Post Test Only Wiht Control Group Design menggunakan 4 kelompok perlakuan konsentrasi 50,% 75% dan 100%, DMSO 10% sebagai pembanding menggunakan metode difusi sumuran, dilusi dan skrining fitokimia. Pada hasil uji skrining fitokimia terdapat senyawa flavonoid dan saponin. Pada aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak laban terhadap Shigella flexneri menunjukan zona hambat 50% (12,51 mm) kategori kuat, 75% (19,50 mm) kategori kuat dan 100% (23.08 mm) kategori sangat kuat, pengujian Kruskal-Wallis Test didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,015 . Pada uji dilusi memiliki nilai konsentrasi hambat minimum (KHM) di 50%, uji statistik Kruskal-Wallis Test didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,012 dan tidak memiliki nilai konsentrasi bunuh minimum (KBM). Dapat disimpulkan ekstrak kulit kayu laban memiliki diameter zona bening 23,08 mm konsentrasi 100% , dan memiliki KHM pada konsentrasi 50% namun tidak memiliki KBM terhadap Shigella flexneri. Berdasarkan uji statistik Kruskal-Wallis Test pada hasil difusi sumuran dan KHM didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,015 dan 0,012 yang berarti ada perbedaan yang bermakna pada antar semua perlakuan.
