The purpose of this research was to effect of kooperatif type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model on student learning outcomes in Social Science Class V at SDN 13 Cingkariang Kabupaten Agam, in the odd semester of the academic year 2018/2019. This research is a quantitative research with experimental type and quasy experimental research design. Sampling data is taken by purposive sampling. The sample of this study amounted to 50 people, with a population of 146 people. Based on the research that has been done, obtained t count> t table, 2.38 > 1,68 with α = 0.05 is means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, it meaning there is influence the use of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model of student learning outcomes in Social Science Class V SD N 13 Cingkariang Kabupaten Agam. Keywords: Social Studies Learning Outcomes, STAD Model

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the practicality of interactive multimedia teaching materials in integrated thematic learning using a STEM approach in elementary schools. This type of research is development research using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data collection techniques in practicality tests use practicality questionnaires by educators and students. The data in this practicality instrument uses a practicality formula which is analyzed quantitatively. Based on the results of the practicality test, the interactive multimedia teaching materials with the STEM approach that were developed are included in the very practical category with the percentage of practicality test obtained by teachers with an average score of 97%, very practical and the practicality test obtained by students with an average score of 89%, very practical category. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia teaching materials based on the STEM approach meet the criteria for being very practical

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low levels of learning activities and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) among students in science education. The study aims to determine the impact of the RADEC learning model (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) on the learning activities and HOTS of fourth-grade elementary school students. The research design used is experimental research with a Quasi-Experimental design that employs a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The study's population comprises fourth-grade elementary school students, with class IVA selected as the experimental group and class IVB as the control group at SDN 09 Simpang Tigo, using simple random sampling. The instruments used in this study include questionnaires and tests. Questionnaires assess student learning activities, while tests evaluate students' HOTS. The study results revealed: (1) The Sig value (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05. Consequently, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, indicating that the RADEC learning model influences student learning activities in social studies in fourth-grade elementary schools. (2) The Sig value (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, demonstrating that the RADEC learning model has an impact on students' HOTS in science education in fourth-grade elementary schools. In conclusion, the study findings suggest that the RADEC learning model significantly influences students' learning activities and high-order thinking skills in science education in fourth-grade elementary schools.
