Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the PPKM policy on the tourism transportation industry and the movement of tourists to travel. Data collection was carried out using the in-depth interview method with 9 transportation industry players and 8 tourists interviewed within two months from November to December 2022. The technique for determining informants used purposive sampling. In this study using a qualitative descriptive analysis. The results obtained from this study prove that the PPKM policy greatly impacts the tourism transportation industry and the movement of tourists. So that until now we are faced with serious problems and become extraordinary challenges for tourism transportation industry players. This policy is also considered to be difficult for tourists who want to travel. Therefore, the results of these findings can be used as reference material for stakeholders, namely the government in formulating policies in the future. So that similar incidents become material considerations in implementing a public policy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the tourism potentials of the Talang Mamak and Melayu Tua who live in the Taman Nasional Bukit Tiga Puluh (TNBT) area of Rantau Langsat village to be developed through a Community-Based Tourism (CBT) approach. This study employs a rationalistic methodology of the qualitative descriptive variety. This study used analytical techniques with two main stages, namely content analysis and qualitative descriptive study, to achieve the research objectives. The results obtained are the three existing attractiveness factors, both natural beauty, community culture, and tourism activities, that have the potential to be developed through the CBT approach. This research can provide in-depth information about the possibility of the Talang Mamak and Melayu Tua people who live in the TNBT area of Rantau Langsat village. Then the results of these findings can become the basis for research in the development of CBT by the community and stakeholders.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the consumer experience at pop events in the city of Bandung enjoys Sundanese gastronomic tourism. The data from this study consisted of 22 informants, using qualitative methods. The results of this study found two findings, namely (1) Sundanese gastronomic tourism as a tourist attraction in sustainable tourism (2) Sundanese gastronomic tourism in pop up events as the development of innovative local food products. The implication of this research in the field of tourism is that it can become a gastronomic tourism business development.
