Abstract

This study aimed to obtain information about local wisdom found in indigenous communities in the Kemiren village, Glagah, Banyuwangi. Information related to the life of a harmonious society between people and nature, and between the members of society. This study used a qualitative approach, direct surveys, participant interviews and a natural setting. Pointing to several informants as a source of information with a purposive. The results showed that indigenous peoples have a life that is simple, harmonious, and are not aware of their beliefs to situs Buyut Cili could play a role in preserving the surrounding environment, including water resources, and fields.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang kearifan lokal yang terdapat pada masyarakat adat di Desa Kemiren Kecamatan Glagah Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Informasi terkait kehidupan masyarakat yang harmonis antara masyarakat dengan alam, dan antar sesama masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, observasi secara langsung, interview participant dan natural setting. Menunjuk beberapa informan sebagai sumber informasi dengan cara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat adat memiliki kehidupan yang sederhana, harmonis, dan secara tidak sadar kepercayaan mereka tentang situs Buyut Cili mampu berperan dalam melestarikan lingkungan hidupdi wilayah tersebut, seperti; sumber air, area persawahan, dan ladang.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran daring (dalam jaringan) pada saat pandemi harus diupayakan tidak memberikan efek kejenuhan dan kebosanan bagi guru dan murid. Sehingga proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dari rumah, tetap menyenangkan dan berkualitas sehingga diharapkan dapat mencetak generasi yang berkualitas baik. Tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk video pembelajaran PKn materi musyawarah untuk SD/MI pada masa pandemi Covid-19 melalui uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan dua praktisi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan versi Sugiyono pada tingkatan (level) 2 yang dibatasi pada beberapa tahap saja. Tahapan tersebut meliputi adanya suatu produk, studi literatur, pengujian, hasil pengujian, perbandingan dengan produk standar, kesimpulan dan saran. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan angket dengan tiga macam lembar validasi. Kelayakan oleh ahli materi dapat dilihat dari aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, dan tata bahasa. Hasil kelayakan ahli media dilihat dari aspek kelayakan grafik dan kualitas tampilan video. Hasil dari pengujian ahli materi memiliki kategori “sangat layak” dengan nilai 98,8% dan kategori yang dimiliki dari hasil pengujian ahli media juga “sangat layak” dengan nilai 82,5%. Sedangkan hasil dari uji kelayakan oleh praktisi I sebesar 67,5% yang memiliki kategori “layak” dan 97,5% hasil dari praktisi II yang memiliki kategori “Sangat Layak”. Abstract

The focus of this research is to describe the role of Tagana in disaster education and the obstacles it faces in providing disaster education for elementary school students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Wates Ponorogo. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis used the Mile and Huberman analysis model. The results showed that the role of Tagana in disaster education for elementary school students can be seen from the Tagana Goes to School program. The program aims to accelerate the building of students' understanding and preparedness for disasters so as to minimize the impact. In the program, the roles of Tagana are: 1) providing knowledge of the types of disasters to students; 2) providing knowledge of disaster mitigation according to the type of disaster, and 3) conducting disaster mitigation simulations. In this case, disaster education is more focused on earthquake disasters. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by the Tagana Goes to School team were limited personnel and lack of response from the school. For this reason, additional volunteers must be carried out and disaster preparedness cadres formed in schools, so that the program can run effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The various kinds of obstacles occur in the learning process during the pandemic. One approach to solving learning problems is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this study is to describe the urgency of CAR to improve the quality of learning in the new normal. This research method is descriptive and qualitative. The research subjects were active elementary teachers in East Java. The data collection instrument in this study was a questionnaire distributed online. The results of the study showed that 100% of the participating teachers thought that CAR was important to implement. This is because they benefit from the implementation of CAR, namely improving the quality of learning. However, the implementation of CAR during the pandemic experienced various obstacles including limited internet connection and face-to-face time. This is a challenge for teachers to continue to carry out CAR with the blended learning method to overcome learning problems that occur during the new normal period.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to provide an explanation of the teacher's strategy in fostering the morals of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students. This study uses a type of qualitative research with the intention to understand the phenomenon of the things experienced by research subjects in a descriptive way. The research was carried out with the stages of preparation, implementation, and completion. The research subjects were teachers of the Akidah Akhlak subject, students, and parents of class 5A MI Al Fithrah Surabaya. Data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that the strategy used by Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering akhlakul karimah class 5A students through the 8C program at MI Al Fithrah Surabaya. This program is very helpful in building children's character so that akhlakul karimah can be formed through habituation. The teacher's obstacle in implementing this strategy is the difficulty of directly monitoring the development and evaluation of students. Constraints experienced by students, namely the limitations of the learning process directly with the teacher and the lack of support from parents at home. The solution to this obstacle includes actively involving parents in raising awareness, responsibility, and discipline in their children.

Abstract

Learning implementation practically changes. Students are no longer the object of learning. The success of education is also determined by the teachers’ quality. If teachers can understand the process of acquiring knowledge, then they can determine appropriate learning strategies or methods, one of which is guided inquiry. Guided inquiry is a method that involves students actively discovering concepts independently. Research objective was to determine the implementation effect of the guided inquiry method on science learning outcomes in grade 5th of MI Al-Ghozali Surabaya. This research used quantitative methods. The research population was 39 students. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling. Data collection used interview sheets and tests. The data analysis used Pearson product moment and t-table test. The results showed, value of t-table 37 was 1.68. This shows t-count>t-table = 1.91>1.68. So Ho was accepted and it stated that there was an increase in student learning outcomes. Besides, rxy is bigger than r-table = 0.33617>0.316. It can be concluded that the guided inquiry method has a low effect on increasing student learning outcomes. This is also supported by the results of the coefficient of determination 11.3%, the remaining 88.7% (100% -11.3%) is influenced by other variables which were not examined by researchers.

Abstract

Perubahan menjadi suatu keharusan dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar, siswa dapat berperan secara aktif, serta turut terlibat secara langsung dalam prosesnya. Siswa tidak boleh hanya sebagai objek pembelajaran saja. Siswa dapat bertindak sebagai agen pembelajaran yang aktif, sedangkan guru berperan sebagai fasilitator dan mediator yang kreatif. Suasana kegiatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dapat menjadikan suatu pembelajaran berhasil dalam mencapai tujuannya, sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar. Penulisan artikel ini di latar belakangi oleh rendahnya aktifitas siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran, karena guru selalu menggunakan cara mengajar yang monoton sehingga membuat siswa jenuh yang berakibat pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di SD/MI yang ditandai dengan hasil belajar peserta didik yang masih rendah atau belum mencapai KKM. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL terhadap hasil belajar IPS di SD/MI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis melalui teknik kepustakaan atau library research yang obyek penelitiannya digali melalui berbagai informasi kepustakaan yang terdiri dari buku, jural ilmiah, tugas kahir berupa tesis, skripsi dan lainnya. Data primer yang digunakan sebayak 12, dan didukung oleh data sekunder yakni referensi pendukung dari data primer. Menurut hasil kajian literatur yang diperoleh, dan jika dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran yang tidak menerapkan model apapun, bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PBL memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan adanya signifikan pada hasil belajar IPS siswa

Abstract

The community service program is one of the obligations that must be carried out by lecturers (researchers/writers). Training to carry out classroom action research with MI Fathul Ulum as a partners is one of the way for the lack of awareness of teachers regarding increasing their competence in schools. This community service program activity is divided into three phases or stages, these are planning, implementation, and final evaluation using a participatory action research (PAR) approach. PAR has advantages as a type of community service program approach or method because PAR is mutually beneficial by solving the most urgent problems in school partner, it was problems related to learning. After the community service program activity was completed, it was not only the researchers who benefited but other parties also benefited, namely; partner schools, teachers, and students. Abstract

The results of the situation analysis revealed that the condition of the library at SDN 42 Kota Ternate was not optimal, and students' interest in reading was still low. In facing this challenge, the PkM program created a solution by creating a thematic reading corner that aims to stimulate students' interest in reading and increase their literacy. The method used is action research which emphasizes the active participation of all parties involved, including students and teachers. In the process, servants along with teachers and students are actively involved in the development, implementation, and evaluation of this program. Various activities have been carried out, such as outreach, setting up reading corners, and training to increase reading interest. The results show an increase in students' interest in reading, as well as a positive response to the existence of a reading corner. With these results, the PkM program objectives have been achieved. Overall, this PkM program provides an overview of initiatives that focus on increasing students' literacy and in reading interest can have a positive impact. Through collaboration between servants, teachers, students, and school partners, this program has succeeded in creating solutions that are relevant to school and community conditions at SDN 42 Ternate City.
