Abstract

MAKİNG COMPOST FERTİLİZER FROM COFFEE PEEL WASTE İN THE NAGARİ KOTO TUO COFFEE-PRODUCİNG AREA, WEST SUMATRA. Coffee husk waste in the Nagari Koto Tuo coffee producing area is not used optimally. It just became a pile of garbage in several places. The others were burned which can cause health problems in the future. One alternative to manage coffee husk waste is to fermentate it into compost. The community service for the bioconversion of coffee husk waste into fertilizer is carried out in three steps. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in utilizing coffee skin waste. The practice of making compost was carried out in a composter using the EM-4 bioactivator. The achievement obtained from this community service was that participants were able to understand the bioconversion process of coffee skin waste into compost, which was proven by the percentage of knowledge and skills (greater than 80%).

Abstract

Jamur endofitik merupakan mikroorganisme yang hidup di dalam jaringan tumbuhan tanpa merugikan tumbuhan inangnya. Salah satu tumbuhan yang berpotensi sebagai inang pada jamur endofit adalah Andrographis paniculataatau yang dikenal dengan tumbuhan sambiloto. A. paniculata yaitu tumbuhan obat yang memproduksi berbagai metabolit sekunder dan telah dilaporkan memiliki aktivitas antioksidan alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji aktivitas antioksidan dari jamur endofitik RS-1 yang diisolasi dari ranting A. paniculata.Metode dari penelitian ini terdiri dari inokulasi, optimasi, kultivasi dan ekstraksi, uji fitokimia serta uji antioksidan dengan menggunakan metode DPPH dari jamur endofitik pada ranting A. paniculata. Hasil penelitian pada uji fitokimia ekstrak etil asetat jamur endofitik RS-1 mengandung senyawa steroid, fenolik dan alkaloid.Hasil uji aktivitas antioksidan terhadap ekstrak etil asetat jamur endofitik RS-1 menunjukan nilai IC50 yaitu 99,74 ppm. Nilai IC50 menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas antioksidan tergolong kuat.

Abstract

The Formal thinking ability is the ability to think in the face of hypothetical situations abstractly and can reason logically. When students reach formal thinking skills, they will have no difficulty understanding the concept of hydrolysis which is abstract. Based on the daily test scores for class XI IPA SMAN 4 Padang, it is known that 30% of students have not achieved completeness in hydrolysis. The incompleteness of some students indicates that there are still students who have not reached the level of formal thinking skills. Therefore, it is necessary to describe the level of students' formal thinking skills. This research was conducted to describe: the level of students' formal thinking skills, the type of research is descriptive. The research sample was students of class XI IPA AT SMAN 4 padang, who were obtained using cluster random sampling. The research instrument was a formal thinking ability test (buney test). In the formal thinking test, trials were carried out to see the value of item validity and reliability. The results of the study showed that:63.79% of class xi ipa sman 4 padang students had reached the level of formal thinking skills.

Abstract

Science and Religion are two entities that often clash. The purpose of this study is to interpret the tendencies of the students of the two entities by using the Rasch analysis approach to re-validate the previous scale. Science students are Biology Education Department and religion are Islamic Education Department. This study shows a significant difference between Science and Religion students in giving approval to the Corona-SARS-Cov-2 virus vaccine.
