Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dimana metode yang digunakan menekankan pada proses penelusuran data atau informasi hingga dirasakan telah cukup digunakan untuk membuat suatu interpretasi. Destinasi  Kota  Salatiga  memiliki  banyak  opsi  yang  berbeda-beda  yang dipengaruhi oleh keseluruhan kondisi yang ada di daerahnya, baik dari segi astronomi, geografi, administratif, sosial, hingga budaya. Hal tersebut menyebabkan Kota Salatiga memiliki beragam produk makanan/minuman dalam konsep kuliner yang membedakannya dengan daerah lainnya. Karakteristik penjual kuliner yang telah menjajakan produknya selama bertahun-tahun menyebabkan mereka lebih dikenal sebagai kuliner khas dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai peningkatan pariwisata khususnya wisata kuliner di Kota Salatiga. Kuliner Kota Salatiga secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dapat menjadi potensi untuk memperkenalkan dan meningkatkan industri pariwisata yang ada. Hal ini berkaitan dengan fakta bahwa kuliner Kota Salatiga dapat menjadi faktor penarik sekaligus pendorong masyarakat yang berada di luar daerah untuk menjadi wisatawan di Kota Salatiga.

Abstract

Quantitative research is a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used for research with a certain population or sample, data collection uses research instruments, data analysis is statistical, with the aim of testing the hypotheses that have been set. The population is the area of ​​generalization which consists of: objects/subjects that have qualities and characteristics that are applied by researchers to be studied and conclusions drawn. The population in this study are reports and publications of Economic Growth/PDRB data, Minimum Wage, Education Level and Labor Absorption in Regencies/Cities published by the Central Bureau of Statistics for the City of Salatiga. The method used in sampling in this study was purposive sampling, namely a sampling technique with certain considerations. The determination used purposive sampling because the researcher determined several criteria used, namely available and published data for Regency/City data in the last three years obtained and summarized from the Central Bureau of Statistics for the City of Salatiga. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion obtained from the study entitled "the effect of economic growth, minimum wages and education level on employment in the city of Salatiga. Based on the results of a partial analysis, the variable economic growth has no significant effect on employment in the city of Salatiga. This means that the increase in economic growth has not been effective and has stimulated employment. Based on the results of the F test (simultaneous) in research using multiple linear regression tests, it can be concluded that simultaneously or together the variables of economic growth, minimum wage and level of education have a significant effect on the variable of employment

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and explain the effect of work discipline, work motivation, education and training on performance. analyze and explain whether education and training mediate work discipline and motivation on the performance of Salatiga City Education Office employees. The approach in the research here is a quantitative inferential type approach. The sampling technique used was the census technique, meaning that all members of the population were taken as samples, while the total sample was taken as many as 89 subjects, while the data collection technique used a questionnaire technique with a Likert scale of 5 options, while data analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis, as well as testing mediation/path analysis is used to determine the direct or indirect effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The research results obtained the following results: 1. There is a positive and significant influence of work discipline on education and training. 2. There is a positive and significant influence of work motivation on education and training. 3. There is a positive and significant influence of work discipline on employee performance, 4. There is a positive and significant influence of work motivation on employee performance 5. There is a positive and significant influence of education and training on employee performance. 6. Education and training do not mediate work discipline on employee performance. 7. Education and training do not mediate work motivation on employee performance.
