Abstract

Background: GRAPPA or Generalized Auto-calibrating Partially Parallel Acquisitions is a parallel acquisition technique which can reduce the scan time in MRI examination. Aims: This study aims to investigate the effect of the R-factor variation of GRAPPA on image anatomical information quality and to determine the optimization value of GRAPPA e-factor to fasten the scan time with acceptable image information quality. Methods: Eight respondents will perform T2 axial Brain MRI examination with various values of GRAPPA R-factor (1 to 7), evaluation was conducted with questionnaire which was given to 3 radiologists to assess the anatomical structure of the lateral ventricle, thalamus, caudate nucleus, lent form nucleus, internal capsule and background area. Data from respondents were then tested with Spearman test and Friedman test. Results: Statistics test showed that there was significant effect of GRAPPA parallel acquisition technique on the anatomical image information quality of T2 axial Brain MRI (p value of 0,001<0,05) and the correlation direction was negative, in which the higher the value of r-factor GRAPPA used, the lower the quality of anatomical image information. Based on the result of mean rank, image with optimal image anatomical information quality was image with GRAPPA R-factor of 1 (mean rank = 6.01), but image anatomical information quality with GRAPPA R-factor of 3 was acceptable with fast scan time (opinion of 75 % of all radiologists). Conclusion: R-factor at GRAPPA parallel acquisition technique could reduce scan time, but the higher the value of r-factor GRAPPA used, the lower the quality of image anatomical information.

Abstract

Rancang bangun alat bantu fiksasi pada pemeriksaan columna vertebrae cervical untuk proyeksi RPO dan LPO berdiri dilatarbelakangi terjadinya kesulitan memposisikan pasien dalam posisi oblik dengan sudut 45o. Tujuan penelitian memudahkan posisi dan kenyamanan pasien sehingga menghasilkan radiograf yang optimal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif deskriptif pendekatan eksperimen eksploratif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan merancang, menggunakan dan uji fungsi alat bantu fiksasi dilakukan secara langsung pada pasien di Instalasi Radiologi RSUD Kota Semarang dengan 5 radiografer (responden). Hasil penelitian alat bantu fiksasi pada pemeriksaan columna vertebrae cervical untuk proyeksi oblik berdiri berupa rangka, sandaran kepala, bidang segitiga, tempat kaset, pengunci bucky stand, pengunci sandaran kepala dan pengunci bidang segitiga. Hasil uji kelayakan alat bantu fiksasi sebesar 93,33% bahwa alat bantu fiksasi layak digunakan pada pemeriksaan cervical khususnya proyeksi RPO dan LPO berdiri. Saran sebaiknya perlu dikembangkan dalam pembatasan pergerakan pasien yang maksimal dan penggunaan untuk pasien yang non kooperatif.?Kata Kunci :???????? rancang bangun, alat bantu fiksasi, columna vertebrae cervical, proyeksi RPO dan LPO berdiri

Abstract

Adanya ketidaksesuaian antara tegangan tabung yang diatur pada?control panel?dengan keluaran tegangan tabung akan mempengaruhi kuantitas sinar-X dan kualitas radiograf. Untuk itu penulis melakukan pengujian keluaran tegangan tabung pada pesawat sinar-X?mobile?unit Hyundai di lnstalasi Radiologi RSUD Dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Sragen yang belum pernah dilakukan pengujian sehingga belum ada?baseline?data kuantitatif mengenai pengujian keluaran tegangan tabung. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode penguj ian tegangan tabung dan hasil pengujian sebagai data kuantitatif dari evaluasi hasil pengujian tegangan tabung pada pesawat sinar-X?mobile?unit Hyundaidi ruang pemeriksaan satu lnstalasi Radiologi RSUD Dr.Soehadi Prijonegoro Sragen.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pendekatan observasional partisipatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengujian terhadap keluaran tegangan tabung pesawat sinar-X dengan menggunakan alat ukur?Cobia?smart?R/F?dari nilai keluaran 40 kVp, 50 kVp, 60 kVp, 70 kVp,80 kVp,90 kVp, 100 kVp, 110 kVp dengan nilai mAstetap sebesar 10 mAs.Selanjutnya data pengukuran yang diperoleh diolah dan dianalisa dalam bentuk tabeldan grafik untuk lebih mudah diambiI kesimpulanHasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa adanya peyimpangan pada 40 kVp sebesar 8,17 o/o , 50 kVp sebesar 3,96 ?/o , 60 kVp sebesar 2,98 ?/o , 70 kVp sebesar 2,27 ?/o, 80 kVp sebesar 3,25 ?/o, 90 kVp sebesar 3,14 ?/o, 100 kVp sebesar 2,14 ?/o dan 110 kvp sebesar 1 ?/o . Persentase penyimpangan keluaran kVp yang dihasilkan oleh pesawat sinar? X tersebut dari 50 kVp - 110 kVp masihdalam batas toleransi penyimpangan yang diizinkan yaitu sebesar <5 ?/o, kecuali pada 40 kVp yang melebihi dari batas toleransi yang telah ditentukan.Kata kunci: Uji Keluaran kVp, Cobia Smart RIF, Pesawat Sinar-X Mobile Unit Hyundai?

Abstract

The major drawback of the parallel periapical examination technique is that the holder used can damage the oral tissues and cause discomfort to the patient. The objective of this study is to determine the work efficiency and radiographic quality of the innovative dental x-ray holder which has been made by adding synthetic rubber or silicone to the part of the holder that is in direct contact with the patient. This research is an experimental with a post-test only design. The analysis was performed based on filling out the questionnaire on a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 4. With the criteria 1. Disagree, 2. Sometimes, 3. Agree and 4. Strongly Agree. The test was administered by comparing the holder made with the commonly used Aphrodite holder as a control group. There were 16 repetitions of exposure to the cadaveric skull in obtaining research data for each treatment group. The results of statistical work efficiency testing on the control group resulted in a value of B = 0.125 with a significance of 0.071 and an effect of 10.5%. Meanwhile, for testing the quality of radiographic image, the value of B = 0.125 with a significance of 0.014 and an effect of 18.5% was obtained. The innovative dental x-ray holder using a silicone rubber layer is efficient and the resulting radiographic image quality is good when used in the intraoral examination.

Abstract

The CT Scan examination technique that in the last decade is popular in diagnosing urinary stones is NCCT Urography examination. This examination is fast and informative, but this examination has a deficiency that the resulting image has a fairly high noise. Iterative Reconstruction is a method of algorithm reconstruction on CT Scan with the basic principle of estimating data to produce reconstruction image by reducing noise. The purpose of this study was to find out the difference in noise value in the use of Iterative Reconstruction in reducing noise and improving the quality of NCCT Urography image. This research was conducted retrospectively, namely on existing image given iterative reconstruction treatment of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%. Samples in each iterative reconstruction treatment group as many as 10 images. Image is done noise measurement by doing ROI in kidneys, ureter and VU. Data analysis is done by conducting different tests of One Way Anova using SPSS Software. The results showed that there was a significant difference in noise value after it was done Iterative Reconstruction. Noise decreased as the percentage of used Iterative Reconstruction increased in NCCT Urography image. In the use of Iterative Reconstruction percentage of 100% obtained the lowest average noise value of 9.11. The use of Iterative Reconstruction can reduce noise in NCCT Urography image by 9.386% compared to Filtered Back Projection (FBP). Iterative reconstruction is able to reduce noise and improve the image quality of NCCT Urography.

Abstract

Program kendali mutu merupakan salah satu syarat dalam perizinan pemanfaatan sinar-X di Indonesia. Namun, hampir 70% fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang terkendala dalam kegiatan tersebut yang disebabkan dari berbagai aspek, mulai dari harga alat uji yang terlalu mahal dan belum optimalnya program kendali mutu. Tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan keterampilan kepada radiografer agar dapat melakukan program kendali mutu sesuai Peralatan yang digunakan di pelayanan radio diagnostik tempat bekerja. Program ini dilakukan pemberian materi, praktikum, pendampingan program kendali mutu dengan menyesuaikan peralatan yang dimiliki fasilitas pelayanan radio diagnostik dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman peserta terkait program kendali mutu terjadi peningkatan dengan skor rata-rata  pretest  46,67 naik menjadi 79,44 saat post pest. Kenaikan skor sebesar 70,21%. Pendampingan program kendali mutu efektif dalam peningkatan kemampuan radiografer dalam program kendali mutu pelayanan radiodiagnostik dengan rerata skor peningkatan pemahaman adalah 32,77.
