Abstract

Breast milk is a liquid that contains white blood cells, immune substances, enzymes, hormones, and proteins that are suitable for babies. Breast milk is an ideal source of nutrition, rich in food essences that can accelerate the growth of brain cells and the development of the nervous system. In breastfeeding, mothers often experience anxiety caused by milk production. Breast milk production can be influenced by several factors, namely infant birth weight, gestational age, maternal age and parity, maternal stress/illness, smoking, alcohol consumption, consumption of contraceptive pills, maternal diet, husband and family support, breast care, type of delivery and hospitalization. when giving birth. Mothers who experience anxiety will cause the let-down reflex to occur, resulting in disruption of breast milk production due to inhibition of the production of the hormones prolactin and oxytocin. This study aims to The relationship between the anxiety level of breastfeeding mothers and the amount of milk production in Mothers who have babies aged 1-12 months in Sigumpar Dangsina Village, Sigumpar Health Center Working Area. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional data collection approach. The population of this study were all breastfeeding mothers who had babies 1-12 months. The sampling technique used is a total sampling of 17 respondents. The data was processed by Spearman correlation test. The results showed p value = 0.003 so p < 0.05 which means that there is a relationship between the level of anxiety of mothers who breastfeed their babies to the amount of milk production in mothers who have babies aged 1-12 months in Sigumpar Dangsina Village, Sigumpar Health Center Work Area. Mothers/Communities and their families support each other in breastfeeding so as not to cause anxiety in breastfeeding mothers

Abstract

There was a significant increase in tuberculosis cases from 2016 to 2019 in Muaro Jambi Regency. Many studies on TB risk factors have been carried out, but spatial cluster analysis has never been carried out in Muaro Jambi Regency. This study aimed to identify the spatial clusters of TB in Muaro Jambi Regency in 2020 using the statistical Kulldorf's scan method. Data on all TB cases at sub-district level in 2020 were obtained from the Integrated Tuberculosis Information System (SITB) of the Jambi Provincial Health Office. Sub-district office coordinate data were obtained with the help of the Google Earth Pro application. Data were analyzed using Kulldorf’s poisson spatial scan statistics based on population data and monthly number of TB cases using the free application SaTScan 10.0. Statistical scan spatial analysis found one most likely to cluster and two secondary clusters. The most likely cluster occurs in Jambi Kecil Sub-district. The first secondary cluster was found in Kasang Pudak Sub-district, and the second secondary cluster was found in Sembubuk Sub-district. The results of this study are expected to assist policy makers in increasing efforts to control and prevent TB cases by focusing on high-risk areas.

Abstract

Dengue incidents in Jambi Province have spread to all districts/cities. Muaro Jambi Regency occupies the second position with the highest cases after Jambi Municipality. This study aims to determine the spatial autocorrelation of DHF cases in Muaro Jambi Regency in 2017–2021. The DHF cases analyzed in this study are case data recorded at the surveillance section of the Muaro Jambi Regency Health Office from 2017-2021. This study analyzed aggregate data from 22 working areas of community health centers in Muaro Jambi Regency. The software GeoDa 1.10 was used for analyzing the Global Moran Index and the Local Indicator for Spatial Autocorrelation (LISA). The results of the global moran's index analysis show that in 2017 (I=-0.400; p=0,001) and 2018 (I=-0,277; P=0,006) the pattern of distribution of DHF cases is spread , while in 2019 to 2021 the results of the analysis show that it is not significant. The results of the analysis using LISA found spatial autocorrelation of DHF cases in the High-High category (hotspots) in 2020 at the Tantan 1 Health Center. Areas with the Low-Low category (cold spots) in 2019 were found at the Kebon IX Health Center, and in 2021 at the Tempino Health Center.

Abstract

The problem that often arises and is commonly found in the implementation of health planning at the health office is that the health planning system is still less effective in covering the needs and problems related to the health of the local community. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) activity is to increase knowledge and skills in making disease distribution maps using the Quantum GIS application as one of the tools for making health plans. The training method is carried out by simulation and direct practice. The participants of this training were as many as 16 staff of Disease Control and Eradication the Jambi Provincial Health Office (P2P). Evaluation of activities using a pre-posttest questionnaire. The knowledge of P2P officers before training was dominantly lacking (43.8%) and after training the knowledge became dominantly good (75%). The results of this activity were obtained by increasing the knowledge and skills of P2P officers in making disease distribution maps using the QGIS application.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Multiphasic screening with GeneXpert MTB/RIF and PHQ-9 is a solution for achieving successful conversion of intensive phase sputum examination. Purpose: To determine the effectiveness and feasibility of multiphasic screening for clinical symptoms and mental health in patients using the Tuberculosis Directly Observed Therapy (TB-DOTS) strategy. Methods: This study used a survey approach with a one-sample multiple testing screening method on the case finding and mental health of patients with TB. This screening was carried out in two stages: Stage I, suspected TB screening, and Stage II, mental health screening of TB patients undergoing intensive treatment (two months). Samples were taken from 160 TB suspects who came to health centers in Jambi City from August 1 to October 1, 2022, using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using statistical software to determine the accuracy and feasibility of screening. Results: Sputum conversion (Smear [-]) was 97.78% and the prevalence of mental health problems in patients was 22.22%. Stage I screening (suspected TB [GeneXpert MTB/RIF]): cough >2 weeks sensitivity, 94.84%; PPV, 97.35%; and accuracy, 92.50%. Stage II screening (patient mental health [PHQ-9]) with a validity of 9 items in the range of 0.17-0.66; ICC (interclass correlation coefficient [ICC], 0.60-0.83; Cronbach's a coefficient, 0.88). Multiphasic yield screening is recommended to achieve a better treatment success rate. Conclusion: Early detection of cases and mental health problems of TB patients in the early phase of treatment is a solution for developing a TB-DOTS strategy at first-level health facilities.
