Abstract

Onion varieties are crok kuning, grown by local communities or farmers in Bantul, Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of bed height on the growth and yield of onion, determine the effect of organic and inorganic fertilizers the right to obtain a maximum yield of onion. The study was conducted in the hamlet beluran, Sidomoyo, Godean, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Altitude of 114 meters above sea level with the soil type regosol. Implementation of research at the end of April until the end of June 2016. The tools needed in this research is the hoe, rulers, scales, raffia rope, sprayer, and stationery. Materials used are onion seeds, cow manure, chicken manure, NPK 15:15:15 fertilizers, and artificial fertilizers KCl. The method used was a complete randomized block design. The first factor is the kind of bed height (B) consisting of B1 = 50 cm B2 = 40 cm B3 = 60cm, factor two is kind of manure (P) consisting of P1 = Land P2 = Cow 10 ton/hectare P3 = Chicken 10 ton/hectare, third factor is the kind of chemical fertilizer (K) consisting of K1 = NPK 625 kg/hectare K2 = KCl 100 kg/hectare. Parameters observed that the number of leaves, plant height, plant fresh weight, dry weight of the plant, tuber weight each hill, tuber number each panicle, weight of tuber each hectare. The results show each bed height is not significantly different to the onion crop yield. Cow manure in the mix with a mean weight of KCl get the best dry plants. Fertilizer treatment was not significantly different results with soil medium (control)

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of dosage of organic matter and soil tilage depth on the growth and yield of jack bean in grumusol soil. This research was carried out in UPTD field of Food andDevelopment Center,  Jl. Yogyakarta-wonosari km 33, playen, gading, Gunungkidul district, special province of Yogyakarta. The area is located at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level with daily  temperature between 23-32 0C. The research was conducted from February - July 2017. This research was conducted by using 3 x 3 factorial experiment which was arranged in Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL). The treatment consists of 2 factors, the first factor was the soil tilage depth  consisted of 3 levels namely the depth of 0.15, and 30 cm. The second factor plana the application of green manure of gamal consisting of three levels, namely 10,15, and 20 ton ha-1. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Observations included plant height, number of leaves, number of flowers, dry weight of plants, number of pods per plant, one hundred seeds weight, dry pods per plant, pod length per plant, seed yield per  plot, and seed yield  Ha-1. Results indicated thanthere was an interaction between the dosage of green manure and thesoil tilage depth on the yield of jack bean Ha-1. The best result was in the treatment combination of green gamal fertilizer with a dose of 30 tons Ha-1 with soil tilage depth of 20 cm. Treatment of soil depth as well as the dosage of green manure gamal has no significant effect on growthon variable dry weight of plantThis study aimed to determine the effect of dosage of organic matter and soil tilage depth on the growth and yield of jack bean in grumusol soil. Abstract

This research was aimed to find out the influence of soil treatment and NPK fertilizer dosage on the growth and yield of peanuts (Arachis hypogea L.).  This research was carried out on the observation area of the Pusat Inovasi Agro Teknologi  of Gadjah Mada University (PIAT UGM), Kali Tirto Village, Berbah District, Regency Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research location is located at an altitude of 115 masl with rainfall of 60 mm / month, the average temperature ranges from 25-35ᵒC, air humidity 50%, soil type of inceptisol. This research was conducted in May - August 2018, this research was arranged Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) method consisting of 2 factors, namely the processing of soil and the dose of NPK fertilizer. Observations were analyzed by DMRT at the level of 5%. The first factor is land cultivation consisting of 3 levels, namely without tillage, minimal tillage, maximum tillage. The second factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer using 3 levels, namely the dosage of 100 kg / ha, 150 kg / ha, 200 kg / ha. Each 1 unit combination treatment was repeated 3 times in each plot of land. This research consisted of 9 variables including number of leaves, plant height, flowering age, number of flowers, fresh weight, plant dry weight, yield of plant pods, weight of 100 seeds, and yield per hectare. The results of the analysis showed no interaction except for the flowering age variable with no tillage treatment and 200 kg / ha NPK fertilizer dosage which produced flowers at 20,40 days, while flowering age occurred at the minimum treatment of minimal tillage and 200 kg NPK fertilizer dosage / ha which produces flowers at 24,13 days. Soil treatment has a significant effect on the variable number of flowers. The treatment of NPK fertilizer dosage significantly affected the dry weight variable

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of local ameliorant of types and the dosage of Legin bean on the Jack Bean plant. The research was conducted in March to July 2018 on the UPTD land in the Development of Food Crops and Horticulture Hatchery, Gading unit. Jl. Yogyakarta-Wonosari Km 33, Playen, Gading, Gunung Kidul District, Special Region of Yogyakarta, at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level and temperatures between 23-32 0C, in grumusol soil type. The study was arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisting of two factors and three replications. The first factor has the type of local ameliorant consisting of chicken manure and gamal green fertilizer. The second factor has the dose of legin koro which consists of three levels, namely: without legin koro dose, 50 g dose of legin koro, and 100 g legin koro. The observation variables included the plant height, number of leaves, production branches, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, number of active root nodules, number of pods per plant, pod length per plant, dry pod weight per plant, weight of 100 seeds, and yield per hectare analysis. The result of the study showed no interaction between the treatment of local ameliorant and legin bean dosages on all observation variables, the type of ameliorant did not affect to plant growth, but increase the yield of seeds per hectare and the dosage of legin bean did not affect plant growth, but increase the yield of seeds per hectare

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mulch type and cow manure dosage on the growth and yield of cultivated peanut plants. Experiments were carried out at the "Lestari Makmur" self-help agriculture and pedestrian training center in April-June 2018, in the Polaman hamlet, Argorejo village, Sedayu sub-district, Bantul district, Yogyakarta, altitude of about 88 meters above sea level, and temperature between 26ºC-32ºC. Regosol soil type. The experiment was conducted using a factorial 3x3 trial with 1 control, which was arranged in a completely randomized block design (RAKL). The treatment consists of 2 factors. The first factor is the type of mulch consisting of 3 levels, namely: straw mulch, husk mulch, plastic mulch and one control. Both doses of cow manure consisting of 3 levels: 10, 15 and 20 tons haˉ¹. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Observations included plant height, number of leaves, stover fresh weight, dry weight, weight of 100 seeds, number of filled pods / plants, weight of fresh pods / plants, dry pod weight / plants, fresh pod weight / plot, dry pod weight / plot and seed weight / hectare. The results showed that the treatment of mulch did not affect growth. The treatment of cow manure dosage had no effect on growth. The treatment of plastic mulch and husk mulch gave higher yields than straw mulch and control. The treatment of 10 kg / m² cow manure treated the results The highest treatment of cow manure doses gives the highest yield than control
