Abstract

ABSTRAKDi samping terkenal dengan kekuatan daya kulinernya, Palembang juga memiliki satu warisan mahal yang nyaris terlupakan, yakni Wayang. Tradisi berwayang ini cukup jarang diperhelatkan karena  minat generasi muda yang relatif kurang. Wayang Palembang yang termasuk jenis Wayang Kulit, adalah kesenian tradisonal yang tidak jauh berbeda dengan wayang kulit lain yang ada di seantero Indonesia. Wayang kulit Palembang juga mempunyai tokoh-tokoh pewayangan yang sama dengan wayang kulit Jawa misalnya. Cerita yang diambil pun juga bersumber dari kisahan cerita Ramayana dan Bharatayudha. Hal prinsip yang membedakannya terletak pada seragam pemain musik wayang dan dalangnya, beserta bahasa yang dipergunakan, yakni bahasa Palembang. Dalam kapasitas sebagai budaya lokal, wayang Palembang memuat pesan-pesan moral yang diangkat sebagai salah satu cara pendidikan karakter bagi masyarakatnya. Karakter yang dimunculkan dalam setiap pementasan, dapat memberikan inspirasi bagi penguatan rasa bangga terhadap daerahnya sekaligusmendidik warganya untuk tunduk dan menyadari secara penuh tentang karakter positif yang harus diwujudkan.Kata KunciWayang Palembang, Pendidikan karakter, Bahasa, Budaya lokal

Abstract

This article presents conceptual design of gender based-teaching material for teaching “Press and Journalistic Skill” to the students of Language and literature education department. This conceptual design is the result of the first year research finding of the two years scheduled. The teaching material developed was in the form of textbook. This teaching material was designed to improve students’ skill in press and journalism. To develop this instructional material, the writers used Research and Development method. The result of the research showed that the content of the textbook of press and journalism covers d the scope of communication, the nature, process and components of communication, mass communication and press/jurnalism, jurnalist, mass media, news, the ethics of journalism, and the press law. Abstract

The activity about the research of Subtle Language of Palembang (Bebaso) is done as an effort to preserve local language which is in the middle of extention. The language is already rare in used. Nowadays, the people of Palembang use a local language which is called daily Palembang language that stands out because it is dominated by Malay speech. As it is known that this article is started from withering and concern over the disappearance of the narrative and the use of this bebaso Palembang in public daily life communication. Language preservation as one of strategic steps in the preservation of language, should always be encouraged. One which can be done is by preparing subtle Palembang langauge (bebaso) which until now is still not arranged well. This step will be used as a basis to pursue the implementation of subtle language of Palembang as one of the local contents in teaching in schools that has a powerful function as a form of exploration of one of the cultural richness of South Sumatra to be proud.

Abstract

This study illustrated the implementation of supervision by school principals, particularly in the use of instructional media during the teaching and learning process in 90 Seberang Ulu II Palembang Primary Schools. This research method uses qualitative research methods and data collection is done by direct observation techniques in the field, documentation and interviews with teachers and school officials. The results showed that the implementation of academic supervision of the use of instructional media in Palembang 90 Primary School uses different techniques. To find out the use of instructional media objectively during the teaching and learning process, the Principal of State Elementary School 90 conducted a class visit supervision technique and also an individual meeting technique with a direct approach in accordance with a predetermined plan. There are factors that inhibit the implementation of academic supervision. The two factors influence the implementation of media use supervision learning in Palembang 90 Primary School. Nevertheless, all problems can be overcome until the supervision of the use of instructional media is carried out properly. Keywords: Supervision of the Pprincipals, Learning Media

Abstract

Pembelajaran sastra di sekolah formal tidak berjalan dengan sukses. Berdasarkan data dari MTs Negeri Palembang, rata-rata nilai dari siswa adalah 5,8. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini, guru mencoba untuk menerapkan model yang disebut Critical Discourse-Sugestopedia (CDS). Model ini akan membantu mengembangkan daya kritis dan kreatif siswa. Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah apakah kualitas pembelajaran sastra bisa meningkat setelah menerapkan model CDS? Bagaimana caranya? Tim melibatkan satu orang peneliti dan dua orang guru sebagai kolaborator yang menggunakan penelitian tindakan. 75 siswa dari MTs Negeri Palembang menjadi subjek karena daya apresiasi sastra mereka masih belum memuaskan. Data dikumpulkan dalam tiga siklus. Hasil siklus terakhir adalah yang terbaik dibanding siklus pertama dan kedua. 88% dari 75 siswa mendapat ≥6,5. Mereka adalah 32 siswa dari MTs Negeri 1 dan lainnya dari MTs Negeri 2. Dari yang bisa ditemukan, dapat kita simpulkan bahwa pembelajaran sastra di kelas VIII siswa MTs Negeri Palembang sudah berhasil.

Abstract

Remember the importance of the role Palembang language, especially bebaso besides as a medium internal communication but also as a medium construction, development, and inheritance culture community from owners of the language in each community members; and pay attention for beginning age classes at elementary level as a productive ages in obtaining language (including Palembang language as a mother tongue), then , the use of intermediate language at that education level should use Palembang language. Giving lessons using intermediate language at beginning levels can be medium for forming self confidence in students. They feel valued, because language that they usually use and as a medium culture socialization that forming their self confidence, used as a medium in knowledge delivery at their school. Besides that, psychologically students feel safe in school and will always ready for accepting lessons. Inability would occur if certain subjects delivered in secondary language that students have not mastered yet. Besides must struggling to understand lesson materials, also at the same time students must pull out all of their potentials to understand language that spoken in delivered lesson materials. Applied concrete that must to do is in the placement form of Palembang language (bebaso) as a subjects and this is appropriately with the substance of the curriculum 2013.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Muara Enim. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Muara Enim dengan populasi 536 orang dan sampel sebanyak 84 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data berupa uji normalitas, linieritas dan analisis regresi. Berdasarkan hasil disimpulkan: 1) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Muara Enim; 2) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Muara Enim, dan 3) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sana berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Muara Enim sebesar 97,79%, sisanya 2,21% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini

Abstract

Politeness in language is very necessary in communicating. By having polite language besides one's relationship can be better, one's heart will not be hurt by listening to the spoken words. The formulation of the problems in this study are: 1) What is the expression in the greeting of students to lecturers through the WhatsApp social media? 2) To what extent does the utterance include positive politeness and negative politeness? This study aims to describe politeness in the use of student greetings to lecturers during lecture assignment guidance interactions. Data collection was carried out through field research using a sociolinguistic approach. The research method used is the observation method and the method of observation using the technique of free listening proficiently, note-taking techniques and recording techniques. Data were analyzed descriptively. The population of this study were all greeting speeches of students in the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. The sample of this research is a number of utterances which are considered to represent the first semester students in FK. The results showed that there were four forms of use of the principle of politeness. From this study it was found that the average student was good at placing utterances that should be spoken to the lecturer. Besides that, it was also found that sometimes students seemed to be pushy in asking for a response from the lecturer. This is certainly not polite to do especially in an academic environment. In this study, more positive politeness was found.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah ada gejala yang ramai membicarakan tentang kasus N.S Gambus yang menyebabkan keriupan masyarakat atas sikapnya yang tidak sesuai antara penampilan dan perbuatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan atau mengkaji pelanggaran dalam penggunaan bahasa pada media sosial facebook pada komentar postingan terkait kasus N.S. Gambus tahun 2021 yang mengandung makna kata/kalimat merendahkan, menodai dan merugikan nama baik orang lain yang dapat menyebabkan adanya tindak hukum pidana. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan Teknik simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk tindak tutur yang merendahkan terdapat 57 data tuturan, tindak tutur menodai terdapat 34 data tuturan, dan tindak tutur merugikan terdapat 9 data tuturan. Bentuk tindak tutur yang paling banyak ditemukan di komentar facebook terkait kasus N.S Gambus yaitu tindak tutur merendahkan. Gejala tutur seperti ini tentu memiliki interpretasi tersendiri atas karakter masyarakat yang berkomentar di media sosial. Sementara itu tindak tutur paling sedikit yaitu tindak tutur yang merugikan.
