Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematical critical thinking skills of class XII IPA 1 students at SMAN 5 Sidrap in solving mathematical problems in arithmetic sequences and series. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. In this study, there were 3 subjects, namely students with high, medium and low mathematical abilities. The instruments used in data collection were observation sheets, written tests and interview guidelines. The results showed that: (1) Students who met the Critical Thinking Level (CTL) 3 or critically were students who had high mathematical abilities. At this critical thinking level, students are able to formulate the main points of the problem, are able to reveal existing facts, are able to determine the theorems used and detect bias, Students are able to work on questions according to the initial plan, able to express their arguments clearly, able to re-examine answers and draw conclusions. (2) Students who meet CTL 2 or are quite critical are students who have moderate mathematical abilities. At this critical thinking level, students are able to formulate the main points of the problem, uncover existing facts, are able to determine the theorem used, are able to detect bias, are able to work on problems according to the initial plan, are able to express their arguments clearly, are less able to re-examine answers and draw a conclusion. (3) Students who meet CTL 0 or are not critical are students who have low mathematical abilities. At this critical thinking level, students have not been able to fulfill all indicators such as not being able to formulate the main points of the problem.

Abstract

Ordinary kriging is the most widely used kriging method. It serves to estimate a value at a point of a region for which a variogram is known, using data in the neighborhood of the estimation location. Ordinary kriging can also be used to estimate a block value. With local second-order stationarity, ordinary kriging implicitly evaluates the mean in a moving neighborhood. To see this, first a kriging estimate of the local mean is set up, then a simple kriging estimator using this kriged mean is examined. The objective of this study was to determine the pattern of diarrheal disease spread in Bogor Regency. The method according to the purpose of this research is Ordinary Kriging. To know the distribution of diarrhea disease in Bogor Regency by looking at the result of countour plot. Based on the countour plot, the area that has the highest number of diarrhea sufferers around Barekah and Bojonggenteng villages is marked with White contour color with the range of diarrhea sufferer is 40 - 43 people. Areas with the highest number of diarrheal diseases indicate that the area has a relationship with the number of diarrheal diseases in the surrounding area. Therefore, the area needs to be prioritized in improving water sanitation, counseling to the community and improving health services.

Abstract

Abstract

Community service activities are a continuous effort to enhance the awareness and abilities of the residents in the Pannampu Village, Tallo Subdistrict, Makassar City, in the management of inorganic recycling waste. The purpose of these activities is to identify the potential of inorganic waste within the local community, provide education on sustainable waste management practices, and teach recycling skills to encourage active community participation in waste separation, support better waste management initiatives, and create creative recycling products, namely economically valuable handicrafts. The results of these activities depict an increase in community awareness regarding the importance of sustainable waste management practices, with a positive impact on the local environment. This community service initiative provides concrete evidence that collaboration between academics and the local community can create significant changes in the management of inorganic recycling waste and promote active community participation in maintaining a cleaner environment.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the value of oil and gas export prices in Indonesia using exponential smoothing. Exponential smoothing was applied because the data analysis revealed that the data consisted of trends and seasonal components. This study uses secondary data obtained from the website of the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Indonesia, covering the value of oil and gas exports in Indonesia every month from January 2010 to March 2022. The study obtained the exponential smoothing parameters, including α = 0.5153984, β = 0.06410119, and g = 0.7137603, with a seasonal length of L = 12. The forecast for the next five periods in millions of US$: April 2022 (1111.765), May 2022 (1250.465), June 2022 (1405.016), July 2022 (1447.510), and August 2022 (1452.984).

Abstract

This study aims to utilize the ARIMA method to predict the value of Indonesia's oil and gas exports. As quantitative research, it employs secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Indonesia's website. The data spans January 2010 to March 2022 and are presented on a monthly basis. Through the results and discussion, three ARIMA models were established, namely ARIMA (1,1,0), ARIMA (0,1,1), and ARIMA (1,1,1). Among these models, the ARIMA (0,1,1) model with an AIC value of 2047.65 was found to be the most suitable for forecasting Indonesia's oil and gas exports. The forecasted values for the next five periods were 1254.124 (April 2022), 1309.678 (May 2022), 1289.236 (June 2022), 1296.758 (July 2022), and 1293.990 (August 2022).

Abstract

Poverty is a situation where a person experiences difficulty in meeting basic needs. There are several factors that influence poverty, including population, unemployment, gross regional domestic product, human development index, average years of schooling and labor force participation rate. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out regression analysis to determine the relationship between one variable and other variables. One method for estimating regression parameters is the least squares method. Some classic assumptions are not met because there are outlier data. Outliers are data that do not follow the overall distribution pattern, so a method is used that can overcome outliers, namely the S-estimation robust regression method with the Tukey bisquare weighting function. The results of the research show that the best model was obtained from robust S-estimation regression with Tukey bisquare weighting, namely factors that influence the level of poverty on the island of Sulawesi, namely Population Number ), Human Development Index ( ), Average Years of Schooling ( ) and, Force Participation Level.
