Abstract

The focus of this study on the implementation of audio books as teaching media for blind students in learning English. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of audio books as teaching media for blind students in learning English and to find out audio books used in learning EFL. The study was conducted at SLB YAPTI Makassar with a number of samples taken were 20 students conducted randomly. The instruments in this study were tests, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the study show that the implementation of audio books as teaching media for blind students in learning English can help students in the learning process. The implementation of the audio book also increases student motivation in learning because it makes it easier for students to study anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis web untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Kota Makassar (2) Untuk mengetahui minat siswa dalam penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis web untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis eksperimental research dengan meteode quasi eksperimental. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 8 Makassar dengan popolasi 810 siswa. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampling secara random. Total sampel yang digunakan adala 30 siswa. Peneliti membagi sampel menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Intrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah test, angket dan wawancara. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Web sangat menarik untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Web dapat membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan kemampuan Bahasa Indonesia siswa. Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Web Menggunakan sangat efektif untuk diterapkan untuk menghindari kejenuhan dan kebosanan mahasiswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Student Facilitator and Explaining Learning Model is a learning model where students learn to present ideas / opinions to other fellow students. This learning model is effective for training students to speak to convey their own ideas or opinions. This learning model will be relevant if students actively participate in designing the learning material to be presented. By collaborating students' ideas into video blogs or digital content that can be uploaded on social media such as Instagram, YouTube or Facebook, it is hoped that students can improve their speaking skills and be able to motivate students in the language learning process. This study used a quasi-experimental method. The population of this study is the ninth grade of SMPN 35 Makassar in the academic year 2020/2021. This study uses cluster random sampling. The sample in the study consisted of 60 students who were in two groups; 30 students in the control group and 30 students in the experimental group. The research data were collected using speaking tests, which was analyzed descriptively, and inferential statistics through the SPSS version 22 program for Windows. The results of this study indicate that there was a significant improvement after the implementation of the Student Facilitator and Explaining Learning Model on students' speaking skills. Based on these results, it is hoped that teachers, principals and stakeholders with an interest in education development can apply this learning model in terms of improving students' speaking skills and increasing student motivation in learning languages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan buku cerita untuk menanamkan karakter disiplin dan kreatif siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis kualitatif. Data penelitian yaitu dari respon wali kelas II dan 5 siswa kelas II. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan buku cerita siswa lebih tertarik dan memahami tentang karakter disiplin dan kreatif siswa, bahkan mereka selalu mengikuti untuk disiplin tepat waktu dan rasa ingin tahu serta selalu bertanya dan menjawab dengan baik. Cara menanamkannya adalah dengan berulang kali dalam pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Hal tersebut menunjukkan penilaian bahwa mereka selalu mengikuti seperti hikmah dalam buku cerita tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Keefektifan Penggunaan Model Example Non-Example Pada Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Bebas Siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Batulaccu Makassar Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kuantitatif Eksperimen design bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sample terdiri 2 kelas yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian Eksperimen siswa yang dipilih adalah siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah sample 36 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sample yaitu dibagi 2 kelas, yang di pilih berupa observasi, tes (pretest-posttest), dan dokumentasi dan teknik analisis data peneliti menggunakan uji-t. Dari Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai pretest dan posttest memiliki selisih yang signifikan yaitu nilai signifikan (2 tailed) yaitu 0,000 >0,05 maka H1 diterima H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat dismpulkan bahwa model example non-example terhadap hasil belajar menulis puisi bebas siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran daring pada bidang studi bahasa indonesia serta hambatan dalam pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas IIA dan siswa kelas IIA. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada bidang studi bahasa indonesia serta hambatan pembelajaran dimana dalam pelaksanaannya guru sudah melakukan perencanaan pembelajaran dan menggunakan media serta metode pembelajaran, namun adapun hambatan dalam pembelajaran yaitu bagi siswa yang sulit memahami materi pelajaran dan bagi guru yang mengalami kesulitan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran daring terutama bidang studi bahasa indonesia di kelas IIA. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada bidang studi bahasa indonesia, nilai yang diperoleh siswa kelas IIA pada bidang studi bahasa indonesia menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas IIA dapat dikatakan tuntas karena semua siswa telah mencapai nilai ketuntasan yang ditetapkan oleh satuan pendidikan yaitu 75.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan hasil belajar IPS materi Perjuangan Parah Tokoh Pejuang pada Penjajahan Belanda dan Jepang melalui model Role Playing pada siswa jelas V SD Inpres Tello Baru II penelitian ini merupakan penilitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah teknik tes dan observasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Inpres Tello Baru II Makassar dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian pembelajaran IPS Perjuangan Parah Tokoh Pejuang pada Penjajahan Belanda dan Jepang siswa menujukkan baik setelah dilakukan pada siklus II berdasarkan permasalahan yang dialami siswa pada siklus I. Hal ini dibuktikan dari siklus I, yaitu yang mendapatkan nilai 85 ke atas sebanyak 4 orang atau 13,33%. Sedangkan jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai kurang dari sebanyak 26 orang atau 86,66%. Sedangkan pada siklus II, ada peningkatan menujukkan bahwa jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai 85 ke atas sebanyak 21 orang atau 70%. Sedangkan jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai kurang dari 85% yaitu 9 orang atau 30%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan hasil belajar materi Perjuangan Parah Tokoh Pejuang pada Penjajahan Belanda dan Jepang pada siswa kelas V SD Inpres Tello Baru II mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan model role playing.

Abstract

Learning to read in junior high school is one of the language skills that plays an important role. Reading skill is the third skill that is mastered by students in having a role in language skills and mastery of other subject matter. This study aims to determine students' speed-reading ability. This research used descriptive quantitative method. The population of this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 35 Makassar with a total of 288 students. The sample is 36 students. The sampling technique is a side random technique. Data obtained were analyzed using the percentage technique. The results of the data analysis showed that from 36 students as respondents, only 20 students (55.55%) managed to score above 75. This shows that the speed-reading ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 35 Makassar is still poor because it is still under of the standard, which is at least 85% of all respondents. Therefore, it is recommended that students and teachers be more active and that the learning support facilities are improved.

Abstract

The influence of Cooperative Learning Model Bamboo Dancing Type on the interest in learning Indonesian language on folklore material in class V students of 27 Bulu Dua Elementary School Soppeng District. Whether there is any influence of Cooperative Learning Model Bamboo Dancing Type on the Interest of Learning Indonesian Language in Grade V Students of 27 Bulu Dua Elementary School in Soppeng District. The type of research used in this study was quantitative research with the research design is Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research instruments used in this study were questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study show that the cooperative dancing model bamboo dancing type, material in folktales has an influence on the interest in learning Indonesian in class V students of 27 Bulu Dua Elementary School in Soppeng District. This can be seen from the results of inferential analysis for interest in learning, from the results of the analysis of the hypothesis test data, namely 15.03 and t-table 1.72, then t-Calculate> t –table = 15.03> 1.72, the difference between the results of the pretest and posttest is significant, and it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Hı is accepted means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted namely there is the influence of Cooperative Learning Model Bamboo Dancing Type on the interest in learning Indonesian language on folklore material in class V students of 27 Bulu Dua Elementary School Soppeng District

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of personal pronouns in narrative essays for class VII C students of SMPN 31 Makassar. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. In this study the researcher did not give any treatment to students as a data source. As for the subjects of the research were students of class VII.C. This research was obtained through a purposive sampling technique. The number of students taken as a sample is 10 people. This research instrument was assisted by observation tables to record data in the form of sentences contained in drama writing using appropriate or inappropriate personal pronouns in their application and use. In collecting data, the researcher started by giving assignments in the form of writing drama scripts and reading the scripts. After that the researcher classifies the data based on the task given. Based on the results of research on errors in the use of personal pronouns in narrative essays for class VIII.C even semester students of SMPN 31 Makassar, it can be concluded that of all the narrative essays analyzed, it can be said that the pronoun that appears the most is the first-person pronoun which shows meaning plural (kami dan kita). The second order is third person pronouns that show a singular meaning (-nya, dia, dan ia) followed by first person pronouns that show a singular meaning (saya, aku, dan -ku), second person pronouns that show a singular meaning (-mu, kamu, dan -kau), third person pronouns that show a plural meaning (mereka). The pronoun that appears the least in the students' narrative essays is the second person pronoun which shows a plural meaning (kalian).
