Abstract

The main reason of this study was to determine the organoleptic test of beef nuggets with the addition of Moringa leaf flour. The questionnaire was taken at the Balitar Islamic University. Selection of respondents, namely selecting students who are currently studying to be respondents. The method of analysis uses the ANOVA method and the scoring system uses the hedodonic test method, where "1" is the lowest point and "5" is the highest point that can be obtained by each variable, and uses index calculations or assessment intervals. from the hedodonic method to put the final category at the end of the analysis. From the results of the analysis using the ANOVA method and the DMRT further test, the following results were obtained, with the ANOVA method all parameters showed the results of ƒcount> table 5%, while with the DMRT method all parameters showed that the results of P1 and P2 were not significantly different, except the aroma showed results P0, P1 and P2 is not significantly different. The conclusion of this organoleptic test is the color parameter 3.1333333 (greenish white), aroma 3.1666667 (typical nuggets), taste 3.5666667 (delicious), texture 3.6333333 (chewy) and preference 3.6333333 (like), seen from the five parameters that indicate nuggets are well received by examiners, then for the best treatment is P1 (addition of 2% Moringa leaves)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of breeders with regard to the ability to keep beef cattle in Klampok Village, Sananwetan District, Blitar City. The material in this study concerns beef cattle farms in Klampok sub-district, sananwetan sub-district, Blitar city using quantitative research methods in the form of case studies with 33 farmer respondents. Data collection methods are conducted through surveys, pre-questioned interviews and observation. The results obtained from this study are that the ability to raise beef cattle is appropriate in the category. Breeding experience has a significant effect on the ability to keep beef cattle, as Klampok has had a business for raising beef cattle for a long time, while age and education level have no effect because age and education level in the study area are relative. uniform so that they have no effect, then the number of animal possession has no effect. because the breeders in the Klampok sub-district consider beef cattle only as an afterthought, so it has no significant effect on the ability to keep beef cattle

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Moringa oliefera leaf meal on the performance of quail production including feed consumption and egg production. This study used a layer phase quail with premium strains. The number of quails used was 300 at 34 weeks age. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method. Consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications, where each replication used 15 quails. The treatments used in the study were P0 as a control or without the addition of Moringa leaf flour, P1 1% Moringa leaf flour, P2 2% Moringa leaf flour, P3 3% Moringa leaf flour. This study concluded that the addition of Moringa leaf flour to the ration with a percentage of 3% significantly (P <0.05) increased the FCR value. Egg productivity had no significant effect (P> 0.05) on the addition of Moringa leaf meal with a percentage of 1%, 2%, and 3%.

Abstract

This The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mixing tapioca flour on organoleptik test (color, taste, aroma, crispness) on cow’s milk crackers. The research method is an experiment a completely randomized design (CRD) with a unidirectional pattern. The treatment in this study was the use of tapioca flour on cow’s milk which consisted of 5 treatment, namely the addition of 750 gr, 700 gr, 650 gr, 600 gr where each treatment was repeated 5 times. The results of this study were the organoleptic effect of tapioca flour and the addition of cow’s milk on the resulting milk crackers, namely the best treatmen was the color in the treatment (P3) yellowish white, the taste in the treatment (P4) did not taste milky, the aroma in the treatment (P4) was quite milky, The crispness in treatment (P4) was quite crunchy. However, it is better to make cow's milk crackers by mixing tapioca flour more so that the taste and aroma of cow's milk crackers are better. From the conclusion for P3 treatment (with the addition of 700gram tapioca flour).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of ginger juice on the organoleptic test of milk caramel candy. This study used a completely randomized design method (RAL) whith 4 treatmens and 3 replications, where each tretmen P0 (control), P1 (50ml), P2 (100ml), and P3 (150ml). then analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Duncan test. The result of this study indicate that the highest valui for color P2 is (chocolate), aroma is P3 (sweet), texture is P3 (soft), teste is P0 (typical of milk candy). The conclution of this study is that the addition of ginger juice has a significant effect on color, aroma, texture, and teste. Suggestions from this study are that it can be used as a reference material and a laboratory test the content of milk caramel candy

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in giving rejected bread flour to the productivity of laying hens in the production phase in UD. Podo Trisno Farm. The materials were using 200 laying hens in production phase with Lohmann strain, 28 weeks of age. Completely randomized design was used in this research with five treatments and four replications. The treatments were P0 (100% of control feed), P1 (90% feed + 10% rejected bread flour), P2 (85% feed + 15% rejected bread flour), P3 (80% feed + 20% rejected bread flour ) and P4 (75% feed + 25% rejected bread flour). The research variables were daily egg production or Hen Day Production (HDP) and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR). Data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA), if there were significant different would be continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that the effect of each treatment on HDP and FCR was significantly different (P<0.05). P0 is the best treatment. From the results of the Duncan Multiple Range Test, P0 and P3 were not significantly different on HDP and FCR. P1 and P4 were not significantly different, but different from P3 and P0. P2 is the treatment with the lowest HDP level and the highest FCR 2. So, it can be concluded that the difference in giving rejected bread flour does not affect the Hen Day Production and Feed Convertion Ratio of laying hens in the production phase.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there is a correlation between scrotal circumference to the quantity and quality of Simmental cow semen at the Singosari Malang Artificial Insemination Center. The sample used in the form of fresh cement simmental cows amounted to 16 heads. The variables observed are scrotal circumference, semen volume, pH, spermatozoa concentration, spermatozoa motility, and spermatozoa abnormalities. The data analyzed using Ms. Excel, and showed a correlation between scrotal circumference and cement volume r = 0,6943, scrotal circumference with pH r = 0,1645, scrotal circumference with spermatozoa concentration r = -0,3029, scrotal circumference with spermatozoa motility r = -0,1155, scrotal circumference with spermatozoa r = -0,1642 abnormality. Thus, there is a strong correlation between scrotal circumference and semen volume, a very low correlation between scrotal circumference and pH, and there is no scrotal circumference correlation between spermatozoa concentration, spermatozoa motility, and spermatozoa abnormality.
