Abstract

Community service is a real effort to make a positive contribution to society at the local level. In the context of East Flores Regency, Watoone Village is the focus of this community service activity. Service for 8 weeks from 26 April 2023 to 29 June 2023. This journal article documents and analyzes the results of the provision of village facilities through the installation of RT/RW and Dusun nameplates in Watoone Village. The methods used include surveys, observations, and interviews with the community. The results of this dedication show a significant positive impact on Watoone Village, which in turn has an impact on increasing awareness and active community participation in village development. This service is carried out with the aim of improving the quality of life and increasing regional identity for the people in Watoone Village.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendukung masyarakat desa Lamablawa dalam merancang peraturan desa secara mandiri dan partisipatif. Pelatihan yang diselenggarakan dalam pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat desa Lamablawa dalam menyusun peraturan desa yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan potensi lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah dengan analisis situasi, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Peserta pelatihan akan diajak untuk memahami konsep dasar peraturan desa, proses penyusunan peraturan desa, serta aspek hukum dan kelembagaan yang terkait. Selain itu, peserta akan diberikan contoh-contoh peraturan desa yang telah sukses diterapkan dalam desa-desa lain sebagai panduan. Selama pelatihan, peserta akan didorong untuk aktif berpartisipasi dalam diskusi, bertanya, dan berbagi pengalaman. Mereka juga akan diberikan kesempatan untuk merancang peraturan desa secara nyata, dengan mendiskusikan dan menentukan isi, struktur, dan mekanisme implementasi peraturan tersebut. Pada akhir pelatihan, peserta diharapkan memiliki pemahaman yang mendalam tentang merancang peraturan desa secara mandiri. Mereka juga diharapkan dapat menerapkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperoleh dalam pelatihan ini untuk memperkuat struktur pemerintahan desa dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat desa. Melalui pengabdian ini, diharapkan masyarakat desa Lamabelawa terlibat secara aktif dalam pembuatan peraturan desa yang dapat mendukung pembangunan lokal dan memberdayakan masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Peraturan Desa, Kemandirian   ABSTRACT This community service aims to support Lamablawa village community in designing village regulations both independently and in participatory way. The training held to provide knowledge and skills which needed by the community in drafting village regulations that suit local needs and potential. Stages of the training were situation analysis, preparation, implementation and evaluation. Participants were encouraged to understand the basic concepts of village regulations, the drafting process of village regulations, as well as other related legal and institutional aspects. In addition, participants were also given examples of village regulation that have been successfully implemented in other villages as examples. Throughout the training, participants also encouraged to participate actively in discussions, asking questions and sharing experiences activities. They were also given the opportunity to draft village regulations by discussing and determining the content, structures and implementation mechanism of these regulations. By the end of the training, participants were expected to have a deep understanding of how to design village regulations independently. They were also expected to be able to apply skills and knowledge gained in the training, thus the village government will be strengthen and village communities quality of life will be improved. Abstract

Increased exploration of coastal and marine areas can damage the environment and threaten ecosystem sustainability. Renewal of governance based on local values is needed. The article seeks to introduce local values in the Letu Ai and Lara Lowa rituals while offering a local value-based governance model. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Ritual analysis unravels local values: ecosystem harmonization; religiosity, social integration and the existence of customary institutions. Governance reform is directed at improving conservation points and systems; increasing ethical awareness in the form of environmental respect attitudes and behaviors; local government intervention to protect the existence of customary institutions, involving the active role of young people in maintaining ancestral heritage.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kerajinan anyaman merupakan salah satu hasil budaya Indonesia dan telah ada sejak zaman nenek moyang. Saat ini, kerajinan anyaman masih dihasilkan oleh sebagian masyarakat Indonesia yang memiliki ciri khas, bentuk dan ornamen yang beragam dengan menggunakan bahan yang tersedia di alam. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk membentuk kelompok kerajinan tangan ada ibu-ibu di desa Oringbele, agar dapat melestarikan kerajinan tangan anayaman dari daun lontar agar dapat menambah wawasan dan memicu rasa cinta terhadap seni anyam, sekaligus mendongkrak kembali popularitas anyaman di kalangan masyarakat agar kesenian ini tidak punah. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan sosial-budaya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan tahapan seperti tahap persiapan, inti dan penutup. Hasil dari pengelolaan kerajinan anyaman yang dilakukan bersama dengan ibu-ibu di Desa Oringbele berupa nyiru dan tas. Nyiru dapat digunakan untuk menapis beras dan menyimpan daging pada saat acara adat dan tas yang dapat digunakan oleh orang tua yang berpergian ke kebun serta memiliki fungsi sebagai wadah untuk membawa bahan-bahan yang diperlukan di kebun. Dampak dari adanya kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya kelompok kecil pengrajin anyaman daun lontar dan hasil yang didapatkan ialah orang tua yang berpergian ke kebun dapat menggunakan tas dari hasil anyaman yang fungsinya sebagai wadah untuk membawa bahan-bahan yang diperlukan di kebun.Abstract: Woven handicrafts are one of the results of Indonesian culture and have existed since the time of our ancestors. Currently, woven crafts are still produced by some Indonesian people who have various characteristics, shapes and ornaments using materials available in nature. The purpose of this service activity is to form a handicraft group with mothers in Oringbele village, so that they can preserve woven palm leaf handicrafts so that they can broaden their horizons and trigger a love for the art of woven, as well as boosting the popularity of woven back in the community so that this art is not extinct. The method that will be used in this writing is a qualitative research method, with a socio-cultural approach. Activities carried out with stages such as preparation, core and closing stages. The results of the management of woven crafts carried out together with the women in Oringbele Village are nyiru and bags. Nyiru can be used to sift rice and store meat during traditional events and bags that can be used by parents who travel to the garden and have a function as a container for carrying materials needed in the garden. The impact of this activity is the formation of a small group of woven palm leaf craftsmen and the result obtained is that parents who travel to the garden can use woven bags which function as a container to carry materials needed in the garden.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pelatihan kepemimpinan tingkat dasar untuk pengurus Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) di SMAN 1 Mauponggo bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kepemimpinan pada siswa yang bertanggung jawab dalam memimpin organisasi di sekolah mereka. Hal ini untuk membantu mereka mempelajari konsep, praktik yang efektif dalam konteks kepemimpinan OSIS. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah dengan analisis situasi, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Selama pelatihan, peserta terlibat dalam berbagai aktivitas dan latihan yang melibatkan pemahaman konsep kepemimpinan, komunikasi efektif, dan strategi organisasi. Mereka belajar bagaimana berkomunikasi dengan baik dengan rekan-rekan mereka, mengorganisir kegiatan di sekolah, memotivasi siswa lain untuk berpartisipasi, dan mengambil keputusan yang tepat dan pentingnya etika kepemimpinan, seperti integritas, tanggung jawab, dan sikap positif. sehingga mereka dapat menjadi contoh yang baik bagi siswa lainnya dan membangun citra positif OSIS di sekolah. Di akhir pelatihan, peserta akan diberikan kesempatan untuk menerapkan keterampilan kepemimpinan baru mereka melalui program kerja OSIS. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman praktis kepada mereka dalam mengelola program kerja , berkolaborasi dengan anggota tim, dan menghadapi tantangan yang mungkin muncul. Tujuannya adalah untuk memperkuat keterampilan kepemimpinan mereka serta memberikan kontribusi yang nyata bagi pengembangan sekolah. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan landasan yang kuat bagi mereka untuk menjadi pemimpin yang efektif dan dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam memajukan sekolah dan komunitas mereka. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Latihan Tingkat Dasar  ABSTRACT Basic level leadership training for Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) administrators at SMAN 1 Mauponggo aims to develop leadership skills in students who are responsible for leading organizations in their schools. This is to help them learn concepts, effective practices in the context of student council leadership. The method used in this training is situation analysis, preparation, implementation and evaluation .During the training, participants are involved in various activities and exercises that involve understanding the concepts of leadership, effective communication, and organizational strategy. They learn how to communicate well with their peers, organize activities at school, motivate other students to participate, and make sound decisions and the importance of ethical leadership, such as integrity, responsibility, and a positive  attitude. so that they can set a good example for other students and build a positive image of the student council at school. At the end of the training, participants will be given the opportunity to apply their new leadership skills through the student council work program. This service aims to provide them with practical experience in managing work programs, collaborating with team members, and dealing with challenges that may arise. The aim is to strengthen their leadership skills as well as make a real contribution to school development. This dedication is expected to provide a strong foundation for them to become effective leaders and to have a positive impact in advancing their schools and communities. Keywords: Leadership, Basic Level Training
