Abstract

The research is aimed at analyzing the quality of pedagogical competences of Indonesian language teachers at the level of State MTs Negeri 3 Medan and MTs Al-Jami’yatul Washliyah Tembung. As for the research method used using a qualitative approach in the form of a descriptive investigation method by performing observations and descending directly to the field in using the interview method related to being the result of an interview with an Indonesian language teacher as the primary data and the results of the interview with the head of school as secondary data. Based on the results of the research found showed that the pedagogical competence of Indonesian language teachers at the level of MTs Negeri 3 Medan and MTs Al-Jami’yatul Washliyah Tembung is good enough only the methods used are different, because each school must have its respective roles and policies to get the best results. The pedagogical competence of teachers plays an important role in learning, because it is from here that students will obtain learning according to the good learning systematics, in addition to qualifications in terms of competence, teachers must also meet other qualifications that are academic. Teachers have a scientific educational background so they have academic and intellectual expertise.

Abstract

This research is entitled strategies for increasing digital reading houses. The aim of this research is to look for various strategies that can be used to improve digital reading houses that can be used for the general public and especially for students as an effort to increase student reading literacy. Reading houses will be an alternative for reading digitally. This research uses a qualitative phenomenological method. The phenomena discussed in this research are the obstacles and challenges in improving digital reading houses and effective strategies used to improve digital reading house strategies. The results of this research state that there are six functions that must be carried out simultaneously to improve the digital reading house. The results of this research can then be analyzed to answer research questions, namely the challenges of digital reading houses, how to increase reading interest with digital reading houses, and strategies for improving digital reading houses. The conclusion of this research is that there are various challenges faced in improving digital reading houses. This challenge can be faced with various strategies, namely by offering free access to various types of reading materials that have been adapted to age and interests, activating reading communities, providing rating and review pages.

Abstract

Gender representation is not only important in understanding characterization and dynamics of stories, but also in identifying narratives that govern and influence public perceptions of gender roles. The study aims to analyze gender representation in "Sampan Zulaiha" by analyzing the character of women faced with and responding to existing gender norms and efforts to resist gender injustice. This research is a qualitative study of library studies (library research) with methods of data collection using documentation methods, i.e. collection of books and journal articles. As for the primary data source comes from the Book "Sampan Zulaiha" by Hasan Al Banna and the secondary source of data comes from several books and journals articles. This study uses analytical descriptive analysis. This research produces a variety of representations of the narrative presented on the Zulaiha Sampan cerpen that corresponds to the gender situation in the surrounding society. Many gender inequities and various traditional customs narrow the women's movement to develop themselves. Further research could explore gender representation in literature influencing gender identity construction and gender role in society..
