Abstract

Most of people think insider trading is an unfair activity because the parties that involved have unequal information. In a certain condition, unequal information used in a transaction is a fraud. The BAPEPAM’s act have regulated that insider trading is illegal. Nevertheless it is not easy to bring perpetrators to the court due to some difficulties to prove. Insider trading is motivated by self attentiveness or personal advantage. However, ethical orientation can mitigate insider trading because it can mediate personal benefit. Through a survey administrated to the students, this study would like to examine how ethical orientation can prevent insider trading. Using multiple regressions, this study found that ethical orientation could not mediate the effect of personal benefit to perpetrators behavior of insider trading. Therefore, we concluded that it is important to give ethical education as soon as possible to all the people to prevent unethical behavior like insider trading.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to identify factors that influence the students’ motivation to run business based on theory of planned behavior. This research is conducted by examining the influence of students’ attitude againts its behavior, subjective norms and behavioral control on their intention to run business. The research samples are students of private university majoring in management because they have subject on Entrepreneur in the curriculum and for the reason of convenience. Research data are collected by distributing questionnaire to the students. Regression analysis is applied to analize 167 questionnaires sent back by the respondents. The result shows that the students’ attitude againts the behavior does not influence the intention to run business. While students’ attitude againts subjective norms and behavioral control do influence the intention to run business.

Abstract

Nowadays, the phenomena of insider trading is more attractive to be explored. Insider trading provides a great advantage for the perpetrators but can harm the others. The Law of Capital Market stated that insider trading is prohibited, however until now it is difficult to be proved. So, the decision to do insider trading is considered to be one of an ethical issue. The aim of this research is to examine the effect of personal benefit and fairness of law against insider trading. Further, this research will examine the ethical aspect by exploring ethical position as mediat­ing variable. This research used a questionnaire to collect data from investors as respondents. The results of this research showed that personal benefit in the form of possibility to obtaining personal gain significantly affect insider trading, while fairness of law had no effect on insider trading. In terms of ethics, an ethical position only able to mediate the relationship between fairness of law and insider trading.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah terdapat pengaruh dari Motivasi, Disiplin dan Karir kerja terhadap Produktivitas kerja karyawan PT. Aneka Petroindo Raya (APR). Penelitian ini didasari oleh beberapa teori yang mendukung penelitian, yang berhubungan dengan Motivasi, Disiplin, Karir kerja dan Produktivitas kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah Karyawan PT. Aneka Petroindo Raya (APR) yang diambil secara acak. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran koesioner. Pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 24. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Variabel motivasi mempunyai nilai sig 0,000 < dari 0,05 maka disimpulkan secara parsial motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Variabel Disiplin mempunyai nilai sig 0,000 < dari 0,05. maka disimpulkan secara parsial Disiplin berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Variabel Karir Kerja mempunyai nilai sig 0,000 < dari 0,05 maka disimpulkan secara parsial Karir Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. dan secara simultan variabel motivasi, disiplin dan karir kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja mempunyai nilai sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 Maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara motivasi, disiplin dan karir kerja secara simultan terhadap produktivitas kerja, serta R2 bernilai sebesar 55,1%.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini menganalisis factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Obyek penelitian ini karyawan atau pegawai negeri sipil yang bekerja di Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Sleman. Pemilihan obyek berdasarkan pada pengamatan secara singkat bahwa PNS dilingkungan Sekda Sleman selalu presensi tetapt waktu. Namun dalam jam kerja, banyak PNS yang tidak melaksanakan pekerjaan dengan tertib, misalnya sering ngobrol dan ngopi dalam jam kerja, sering mengajukan ijin dengan berbagai alasan. Apabila kinerja dan tunjangan kinerja berdasarkan pada presensi, maka kemungkinan besar hasilnya bias. Sehingga diperlukan penelitian untuk mengetahui factor yang mempengaruhi kinerja PNS di Sekda Sleman. Factor yang dianalisis terdiri dari variabel independent, yaitu komitmen organisasi, Lingkungan kerja dan motivasi. Sedangkan variabel dependen adalah kinerja karyawan. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada PNS di sekda kabupaten Sleman. Data yang diperoleh sebanyak 78 kuesioner. Sampel yang dipilih adalah karyawan yang berstatus sebagai pns dan karyawan yang telah bekerja lebih dari 3 tahun. Olah data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Data yang diolah adalah data yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Komitmen Organisasi, Lingkungan Kerja dan Motivasi mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Pangaruh variabel independent terhadap vairabel dependen bersifat simultan dan parsial.Kata kunci: Kinerja Karyawan, Komitmen Organisasi, Lingkungan Kerja, Motivasi. AbstractThe purpose of this study analyzed the factors that affect employee performance. The object of this research is employees or civil servants who work in the Regional Secretariat of Sleman Regency. The selection of objects is based on the brief observation that civil servants in the environment of Secretary Sleman always have a fixed presence of time. But in working hours, many civil servants who do not carry out work in an orderly manner, for example often chatting and chatting in working hours, often apply for permission for various reasons. If performance and performance allowances are based on presence, then most likely the results are biased. So that research is needed to find out the factors that affect the performance of civil servants in the Sleman Secretary. The factors analyzed consist of independent variables, namely organizational commitment, work environment and motivation. While the dependent variable is employee performance. The data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to civil servants in the Sleman district secretary. Data obtained as many as 78 questionnaires. The selected sample is employees who are civil servants and employees who have worked for more than 3 years. The data process uses multiple linear regressions. Processed data is data that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis shows that Organizational Commitment, Work Environment and Motivation affect employee performance. The effect of independent variables against dependent vairabel is simultaneous and partial.Keywords: Employee Performance, Organizational Commitment, Work Environment, Motivation.

Abstract

This study analyzes students' perceptions of the applications used in e-learning. The study is based onthe pandemic situation which caused major changes in learning. During the pandemic, almost allclasses are conducted online. One of the online meeting media that is widely used is the Zoomapplication. The study will analyze students' perceptions of the performance of applications used foronline learning. The analysis will be based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). TAMhighlights that acceptance of the information system is influenced by perceived usefulness (POU) andperceived ease of use (PEU). This study will adopt the independent variables, namely POU and PEUand analyze their influence on the performance of online learning applications. The study wasconducted in Yogyakarta. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to students who weretaking online classes. Data analysis used multiple regression. The results of the analysis show thatPEU and POU affect the performance of online learning applications.Keywords: Online learning, online learning application, Technology Acceptance Model.

Abstract

Strategi perusahaan e-commerce memenangkan persaingan antara lain perusahaan perlu memperhatikan perancangan situs web yang menciptakan atmosfer pada situs serta sikap konsumen dalam memutuskan pembelian melalui situs e-commerce. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh virtual layout and design terhadap emotional arousal, pengaruh virtual atmosphere terhadap emotional arousal, pengaruh emotional arousal terhadap keputusan pembelian, pengaruh virtual layout and design terhadap keputusan pembelian, pengaruh virtual atmosphere terhadap keputusan pembelian, pengaruh kemudahan penggunaan terhadap keputusan pembelian, pengaruh virtual layout and design terhadap keputusan pembelian yang dimediasi oleh emotional arousal, pengaruh virtual atmosphere terhadap keputusan pembelian yang dimediasi oleh emotional arousal. Sampel penelitian ini masyarakat Yogyakarta yang pernah membeli produk fashion melalui situs web Tokopedia. Hasilnya terdapat pengaruh virtual layout and design terhadap emotional arousal, terdapat pengaruh virtual atmosphere terhadap emotional arousal, terdapat pengaruh emotional arousal terhadap keputusan pembelian, tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung virtual layout and design terhadap keputusan pembelian, tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung virtual atmosphere terhadap keputusan pembelian, terdapat pengaruh kemudahan penggunaan terhadap keputusan pembelian, terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung virtual layout and design terhadap keputusan pembelian yang dimediasi oleh emotional arousal, terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung virtual atmosphere terhadap keputusan pembelian yang dimediasi oleh emotional arousal. Emotional arousal memediasi pengaruh atmosfer situs terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID 19 menyebabkan perubahan besar dalam perkuliahan. Pada masa ini hampir kesuluruhan perkuliahan dilakukan secara online menggunakan platform seperti aplikasi zoom. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa Akuntansi terhadap kinerja aplikasi zoom yang digunakan untuk perkuliahan secara online. Analisis berdasarkan technology acceptance model (TAM) yang menyatakan bahwa penerimaan terhadap system informasi dipengaruhi oleh perceived of usefulness (POU) dan perceived ease of use (PEU). Penelitian dilakukan di Yogyakarta pada mahasiswa akuntansi sebagai obyek penelitian mengingat sebagian besar mata kuliah akuntansi bersifat kuantitatif, dan kemungkinan mahasiswa akan menemui kesulitan memperoleh contoh pengerjaan soal. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan jumlah data diperoleh 334. Penelitian ini akan mengadopsi variable independent POU dan PEU serta analisis pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja aplikasi perkuliahan online. Selanjutnya analisis pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi online terhadap persepsi kinerja aplikasi zoom. Berbeda dengan sebelumnya pada penelitian ini menambahkan pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi pada persepsi user terhadap kinerja aplikasi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi bertahap (intervening regression analysis). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa PEU dan POU mempengaruhi kinerja aplikasi perkuliahan online. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi penggunaan aplikasi zoom dalam pembelajaran daring sudah sesuai dengan persepsi kemanfaat dan persepsi kemudahan penggunaan. Dengan demikian aplikasi zoom cocok digunakan utk pembelajaran daring pada mata kuliah akuntansi.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image, service quality, and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention (a survey of consumers at McDonald's Sultan Agung Yogyakarta). Design/Methodology/Approach- This study used a quantitative approach using a questionnaire as a data collection technique, and a sample of 151 McDonald's Sultan Agung consumers was obtained. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampique, with the instrument measuring scale using a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 25 analysis tool. Findings- The results of this study indicate that: 1). The brand image variable has proven to affect repurchase intention at McDonald's Sultan Agung positively. 2). Service quality variable is proven to positively affect repurchase intention at McDonald's Sultan Agung. 3). The customer satisfaction variable is proven to positively influence repurchase intention at McDonald's Sultan Agung. Research limitations/implications- Research findings are expected to be a reference and learning for producers of goods or services that to grow or retain consumers to be interested in making repeat purchases, there are many factors that influence it. This research reveals that brand image, service quality, and customer satisfaction influence consumers to be interested in making repeat purchases. Originality/value- Studies on consumer behavior in the food and beverage business are quite limited, and there are minimal studies that use fast food restaurants as research subjects to measure the level of consumer repurchase interest. The study reveals factors that are thought to influence the level of consumer repurchase interest in a fast food restaurant.
