Abstract

Women experience menopause, which is the cessation of menstruation for more than one year and the cessation of the release of the hormone’s estrogen and progesterone. The most common psychological impact of menopause is depression. Interventions that can be performed on depression include pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. One of the non-pharmacological therapies is yoga. Yoga exercise involves the unification of body movement, breath, and mind. Most women aged >45 live in the Babakan Sari Sub-District. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of yoga exercises in reducing depression in menopausal women in the Babakan Sari Sub-District.This study uses a quasi-experimental design with one group intervention. The population of this study was women >45 years in the Babakan Sari Sub-District, totaling 3225 people. Samples were taken using purposive sampling with the inclusion criteria of menopausal women who had partners, and the exclusion criteria were menopausal women who consumed depression medication totaling 50 people. Data collection was done using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9. Yoga intervention based on yoga practice SOP was given 3 times in 3 weeks. Univariate data analysis was done using percentages and bivariate using a t-test. The results showed that at the pretest, 25 people (50%) were experiencing moderate depression, 18 people (36%) met the criteria for mild depression, and 7 people (14%) met the criteria for mild depressive symptoms. Posttest results showed that 19 people (38%) had mild depression, 23 people (46%) met the criteria for mild depressive symptoms, and 8 people had no symptoms of depression (16%). The results of the t-test showed that p-value = 0.00 < a = 0.05. Thus, yoga exercises are effective in reducing depression in menopausal women. The results show that yoga exercises are effective in reducing depression because yoga exercises provide relaxation for menopausal women, with interventions given every 3 times a week for 3 weeks, increasing the effectiveness of yoga in reducing depression. Depression decreases after giving yoga exercises, so it is hoped that yoga exercises can be considered as an alternative intervention by health centers.

Abstract

Introduction: Even though antenatal care checks are incredibly crucial for monitoring the health development of both mothers and newborns, the reality is that a significant number of pregnant women do not go to their appointments as much as is recommended. This is because pregnant women are frequently tardy in doing prenatal care checks since there is a lack of information regarding the significance of antenatal checks for the development of health. Experts are attempting to progress in the health sector by using mobile devices in health services to monitor antenatal care (ANC) for pregnant women. This is being done in light of the rapidly evolving technology of the 4.0 age. This application will serve to remind pregnant women of the scheduled examination appointments suggested for them. Additionally, it can potentially improve health services for pregnant women and identify issues that may arise during pregnancy. Methods: Conduct a systematic data analysis by examining existing research findings on the efficacy of Android-based antenatal care applications in enhancing adherence to antenatal care and improving maternal health. Articles about the specified theme were chosen from 2018 to 2023 using electronic databases like Science Direct, PubMed, Google Scholar, and open knowledge maps for the search. Abstract

Antenatal care, often known as ANC, is the foundation of programs assisting reproductive health. It is particularly significant in the field of maternal and child health because it offers services to pregnant women from the time of conception until the delivery of the baby. These services are designed to ensure a safe pregnancy and delivery, hence preventing difficulties. The problem of pregnancy difficulties unquestionably has a bad influence on both the mother and her fetus. As a result, it is the reason for the high maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Indonesia. Some of the complications that contribute to this rate include bleeding, eclampsia, complications during abortion, sepsis, and extended partus. By providing routine prenatal care and examinations to medical professionals, it is possible to save the lives of pregnant women who experience problems. Distance is one of the numerous elements that can function as a barrier, and there are many others. During this digitalization era, technology makes it possible to disseminate information to pregnant women to enhance antenatal care. One example of this is using mobile phones in health services, referred to as m-Health. This is a promising option to improve the health outcomes of both mothers and children. This research was conducted to conduct a literature review to assess the advantages of mobile health in enhancing antenatal care. This literature study technique was selected from January 2019 to January 2024. The study approaches chosen are randomized trials, pseudo-experiments, and cluster randomization, designed to adhere to specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. This study utilizes the PRISMA protocol. A thorough electronic search across many databases yielded 683 articles, with 274 from PubMed and 409 from Google Scholar. After independently obtaining and rigorously filtering publications, 6 studies were included in the review. Final Thoughts Based on the findings of the six chosen publications, a critical analysis was carried out, and the conclusion reached was that MHealth is highly significant and beneficial in pregnancy care.

Abstract

Diarrhea is one of the causes of death in toddlers, and one of the factors that causes diarrhea is MP-ASI. Based on the most significant proportion of diarrhea sufferers at the Baros Health Center in the last three months of October, November, and December 2021, 87 infants aged 0-12 months and 29 infants aged 12-24 months, respectively, and 31 infants aged 25-60 months. This research aims to determine the relationship between complementary feeding and the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 3-12 months in the Baros Public Health Center, Sukabumi City, Indonesia. This research used a cross-sectional population, and the total sampling was 48 infants aged 3-12 months. The analysis of data used Chi-Square. The inappropriate provision of complementary feeding to infants aged 3-12 months, 26 respondents (54.2%), and the appropriate ones were 22 respondents (45.8 %), the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 3-12 months who had diarrhea as many as 28 respondents (58.6%) and who did not have diarrhea as many as 20 respondents (41.7%). The result shows a relationship between giving complementary feeding to infants aged 3-12 months and the incidence of diarrhea with a value of 0.00 (<0.05). There is a relationship between the provision of complementary foods for breast milk (MP-ASI) and the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 3-12 months. Giving MP-ASI is one of the essential needs, but what needs to be considered by the mother is the appropriate age of the baby. Providing information related to MP-ASI knowledge to mothers is the key to preventing diarrhea in infants.

Abstract

The bibliometric analysis of publications connected to nursing education methods and digital media is still restricted. Thus, there needs to be more understanding of practices and concepts. This study aims to determine the trend in publications and visualization of nursing learning techniques and digital media. The bibliometric method with policy-related scientific publication data from 2017 to 2024 uses a VOS viewer. The publications evaluated came from the Google Scholar database: 200 articles, 13 from Scopus, and 14 from PubMed. The literature search was conducted online in March 2024 using keywords: knowledge, skill, and digital education. The articles were downloaded in RIS format and processed with a VOS viewer to visualize and analyze patterns in bibliometrics. VOS viewer can generate network, overlay, and density visualization maps. Following analysis by the VOS viewer software, 8 clusters were identified in mapping all themes (light purple, brown, orange, Tosca, purple, yellow, blue, green, and red). The clusters demonstrated a link between one issue and another. The thickness of the connecting line indicated the strength of pairs of topic areas or keywords. The mapping results presented above reveal the number of terms and other term associations associated with digital education. Future academics can develop themes that have yet to be explored by considering the density of topics offered and paying regard to duty and ethics in education. This research contributes to providing information on the use and implementation of technology in nursing education in the digital era.
