Abstract

The study is titled “Lifestyle Hijabers Community Pekanbaru city” Researchers interested in the theme of this because there are many Muslim women contemporary hijab users who join and form a community. In this community, a lot going on various phenomena which deserves to be investigated One form of such phenomena is a lifestyle that involves a series of patterns of consumption and leisure activity. That certainly raises a positive or negative effect on the appearance as well as they wear the hijab and their leisure time activities that seem high class.To find out the results of this study the authors use data collection techniques with observation and in-depth interviews with respondents. The sampling method or the respondent done with techniques snowball sampling where the determination of the informant is determined on an ongoing basis where the informant subsequently determined from the first informant and so on. Informants are 8 people from the community Hijabers, author stops on informants to 8 because the author felt quite obtain the desired data to answer all the research questions. The theory used in this study is a lifestyle, community, social groups, symbolic interactionism, and the history of the hijab. The method used is descriptive qualitative.The results of this study indicate a change in the use of the hijab that was originally simple use of the hijab and Muslim women as a symbol of devotion to religion has now become a lifestyle and fashion which can be seen from the pattern of consumption, leisure time activities and the factors that affect the lifestyle of the city pekanbaru Hijabers.The results of the study are expected capable of providing an overview to all parties who need information about Lifestyle Community Hijabers PekanbaruKeywords: Community, Hijabers, lifestyle

Abstract

Lately, most of the people of the city of Pekanbaru many who opted for abstention or abstain from voting in the democratic party of the people, due to the weakened and low antusiasi society to the General Election. In addition to the above problems finding the low level of community participation has also become a serious problem that occurs in each of the Sub-District of the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of the city of Pekanbaru years 2013. Because of that conducted a study entitled "Factors That Cause Public Not to Use Rights Vote In Elections Governor and Deputy Governor in 2013 in TPS 5 RT 4 RW 1 Tuah Karya’s Village Tampan’s Subdistrict".The purpose of this study is: 1) To determine the characteristics of the respondents chose to abstain from voting on the election of governor and lieutenant governor in 2013 on the TPS 5 RT 4 RW 1 Tuah Karya’s Village Tampan’s Subdistrict. 2) To determine the cause of the people chose to abstain from voting on the election of governor and lieutenant governor in 2013 on the TPS 5 RT 4 RW 1 Tuah Karya’s Village Tampan’s Subdistrict. To determine the factors that cause people chose to abstain from voting on the election of governor and lieutenantgovernor in 2013 on the TPS 5 RT 4 RW 1 Tuah Karya’s Village Tampan’s Subdistrict. 3) To determine the relationship of socio-economic background of the respondents who chose to abstain from voting on the election of governor and lieutenant governor in 2013 on the TPS 5 RT 4 RW 1 Tuah Karya’s Village Tampan’s Subdistrict.The benefits of this research are: 1) It is expected that these results obtained contribute ideas for the development of the science of sociology. 2) As an input and information for other researchers in further research, so that it can add a reference to the study of science as well as other existing beneficial to the development of the academic world in the future.The procedure of this study can be seen from the following steps: the issues examined in this study is what factors are causing the people in the polling station 5 RT.4 RW.1 jl. Organization, Work Tuah Village, District of Kampar. The method used in the study is the method of questionnaires, interviews, and use documents. Research tool used was a questionnaire that was developed with the interview. From the research results and conclusions: 1) Characteristics of voters who abstain from voting at the polling station 5 RT 4 RW 1 Tuah Karya’s Village Tampan’s Subdistrict of respondents aged between 33-38 years who do not choose more than any other age (24%). 2) Most of the voters who did not choose to work as traders and students respectively of 6 people (24%). 3) The level of education they are mostly located at the upper secondary level (high school) as many as 12 respondents (48%). 4) Respondents who do not use their right to vote mostly Muslim, as many as 22 people (88%). 5) The majority of voters who abstain from voting are from ethnic Minang many as 10 people (40%). 6) Most of the voters settled in research sites in jl. swadaya, already including long over 6-15 years as many as 12 people (48%). 7) Respondents who do not use their right to vote most have incomes tend to be low, ie below Rp.1.500.000, - which is the minimum wage of Riau province.Keyword : Politic, Participation, Pilgubri 2013

Abstract

The amount of economic demands and necessities of life make people do a variety of ways to fulfill, it is done with the hope to get a better life. There are many ways and effort to the communities to meet their needs, one of them to borrow money. Borrowing money through the creditors more attractive to people, especially in Palas Village Rumbai Subdistrict Pekanbaru City. This study aims to determine how the characteristics of the creditors and the costumers as well as to find out how social relationship formed between the creditors and customers. In this research is descriptive quantitative research, the population in this study were identified community use the service of the creditors in the headman Palas Village Rumbai Subdistrict Pekanbaru City. The study sample as many as 3 creditors and 54 customers ( 50 % ) of the total population using propotional sampling technique is the use of propotional representation. To collect data the researcher used the questionnaire method of observation and documentation as a reference for information in analyzing the data. The result of this research using the quantitative research analysis and described it descriptively. Result of the analysis indicated that the loan sharks attractive by people despite the high interest charged. Generally the creditors are people with relatively high levels of the economy, while customers are the people who rate the economy is relatively low, this requiring a loan to make a living. Through the process of lending and borrowing, there were several social relationship between the creditors and the customers that is trust relationship, communication, exploitation, conflict and interdependence.Key words : the creditor, the customer, social relationship

Abstract

This thesis is submitted in order to qualify holds a bachelor of sociology. With the title" Facebook And Behavioral Changes In Teenagers (Study Case On Teenegers In The Village Purba Tigarunggu The District Simalungun)." The problem is discussed in this paper is how the activity of student / student in the use of social media Facebook and how the influence of Facebook on behavior in the student / student in the use of social media Facebook.Subjects in this study were 7 people. The sampling technique used in this study is the snowball sampling technique. snowball sampling is a sampling technique that initially a small amount, then the sample is given the choice of his friends to be sampled so on so that the number of samples each. The method used is a qualitative research method because this method explain any concerns regarding this title is descriptive. Instrument data filtering is observation, questionnaires and documents. The theory used is the theory and the theory of social change lifestyle. The results were made public, the writer can say that Many students / SMA Negeri 1 Primitive argued facebook is one of the providers layananan more modern communication via internet networking cyberspace. Facebook facilitate communication with others without limits wherever and whenever, either with another person we know and we do not know. Abstract

Smoking behavior among the adults become commonplace. Smoking is a lifestylephenomenon in the present so as regards the behavior of smoking as a behavior that is reasonableand does not have a problem. Behavior smoking can be found everywhere and from various agecircle namely from adult to children. For the moment many women have found the smokingbehavior and in this study women were mothers. The social behavior of a relative nature torespond to others in a way that is different. As social beings, smoking behavior is a behavior thatcan not be separated from other human. The smoking behavior is heavily influenced by the socialenvironment due to the behavior or character of a person likely to be formed by the surroundingenvironment. This study has several purposes for the researchers themselves as well as for otherstudents. The purpose of this study was first held to find out about the social behavior of motherswho smoked at Rt 02 Rw 14 TalangMandi village. The second objective is to determine thefactors that influence smoking behavior of these mothers. Analyzing the data in this study usinga qualitative descriptive study method. This study aims to identify and describe socialphenomena as well as trying to analyze it in accordance with the reality based on the dataobtained. Subjects in this study determined Snowball Sampling. Informants in this study werewomen's status as mothers of 5 people who have the habit of smoking. Methods of datacollection that is by observation and interviews. The study was conducted in Duri RT 02 Rw 14TalangMandi village Mandau sub Bengkalis. The results show that the social behavior ofmothers who smoke are mothers smoked openly namely smoking environment sesame smokersand smoke in the environment of people who do not smoke. Only one person mothers are stillconsidering the smoking behavior when with other people either smoke or not smoke. Thefactors that affect mothers smoke are penggaruh to friends who smoke other than that motherswho smoke live and hang out amid people who are also characterized by other factors, namelysmoking and stress.Keywords: Social Behavior, Smoke, Mothers

This research was conducted in Gajing Kahean Gunung Maligas Sub District Simalungun Regency, the purpose of this research is to know and analyze The Thrust Factors Teenager In Conserving Kuda Lumping Art In Gajing Kahean Gunung Maligas Sub District Simalungun Regency. This research is Qualitative research which analyzed descriptively, and instrument of data is observation and interview. The theory used in this research is Fungcional theory. In this study of informants there are eight people and three support informant. Sampling technique is Purposive Sampling. The result of the research on the informants explained that The Development of Kuda Lumping Art in the Gajing Kahean from past to now has Experienced a Change in Costume, Musical Instruments and Dance Moves. The Thrust Factors Teenagers In Conserving Kuda Lumping Art is The First is Intern Factor Consisting Of The Young Desire to Follow the Art is Based on Personal will. Secondary From Family is The Urge from The Family to Participate in the Art. While External Factor there are two of Our Friends and Environment. Abstract

Illegal racing is a race among motorcycle and also cars in a public road. This research aims to discover the factors and the impact which causes illegal racing by teenagers. The research using the theory of deviant behavior, juvenile delinquency and social control support by the books with a common discuss. The research method is qualitative descriptive with observed, interviews and documentation technique to take the result. This research subjects selected by accidental sampling which is based on coincidence or anyone around study site. Abstract

This research entitled "Public Rituals In The Village Community Busuk Jaya District Inuman Kabupatem Kuantan Singingi (Case Study Do'a Cemetery)". The research was conducted at Busuk Jaya Village, Inuman Subdistrict of Kuantan Singingi Regency, whose purpose was to know how the Ritual Prayer of the Cemetery and its function and value system were applied. The method used in this research is Qualitative Descriptive research method, that is the research discussion is presented and analyzed in the form of description of words (description) with qualitative approach. This research is also supported by the implementation of in-depth interviews with the informants who have been established first by the researchers. So the results of these interviews obtained information that is very supportive for the validity of the data that became the focus of this study. Based on the results of the research, in this ritual there are some important things that are divided into two implementation of Prayer Ritual of Cemetery itself, that is the implementation of cemetery prayer in the pilgrimage of grave, as well as the implementation of Prayer Cemetery in the tribal house association of tribe. The Cemetery Prayer Ritual is held once every year, on the sixth day of Eid or six Syawal. Implementation begins at eight o'clock in the morning until the end, with the aim of pilgrimage and gathering each other between tribes respectively. The function of Rtiual Prayer This cemetery in pilgrimage is to pray for the salvation of the deceased family, and the second function of the Cemetery Prayer in the assemblies of the tribal aims to cultivate the relationship between the nephew's children in order to adapt to their fellow human beings to introduce the customs. Abstract

Marosok tradition is one uniqe traditions of West Sumatera, where thistradition is implemented in the system of sale and purchase transaction oflivestock. Marosok in Indonesian is to feel, and hold something without seeingwhat the stuff bit only feel it based on brain and feeling. This tradition beginswhen the buyer has found the cattle that are considered suitable, than there willbe bargaining price of levestock. And bargaining is done by way of marosok,where the hands of merchants and buyer greet each other, there their fingersmutually marosok or fingered ech other. The trader sets the price, and if notmatch the buyer can bid. And keep in mind that when bargaiining takes place thehands of merchants and buyers of cattle are hidden behind sarong, hat or smalltower. The purpouse of this study is to know (1)how the procession of marosoktradition in the sale and purchase transaction of cattle, (2)what is the purpouse ofthe implementation of marosok tradition, and (3)the meaning of each symbol ofthe fingers symbols used in marosok tradition. This research was conducted in themarket of livestock Payakumbuh with descriptive qualitatif research method,where the subject of the study was selected by purposive sampling and snowballsampling. Informants in this study amounted to ten people, who are considered tounderstand very well about this tradition. From the results of interviews andobservations in the field authors concluded that the procession of this tradition isdone by livestock traders, livestock buyers, as well as brokers or intermediaries.The goal of Marosok‟s own tradition is (1)to maintain the tradition it self, (2)toappreciate fellow traders and (3)to the attraction of tourism. And for the symbolof the fingers symbol in bargaining, each finger represents the nominal price, forexample the index finger represents Rp. 100.000 – Rp.10.000.000.Keyword: tradition, marosok, buying and selling

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the correlation between majelis taklim and sakinah family in Rempak village, Sabak Auh Sub-Regency, Siak Regency. This research was quantitative research that analyzed based on inferential statistic. The theory of the research was Functional theory which uses simple random sampling as the technique. from 147 population, 60 samples was taken by using Slovin formula. The samples as respondents was formed by using lottery technique. The results obtained in the field that the correlation between majelis taklim and sakinah family, based on qualification level of correlation, is on moderate level with 0,592 as the value of Pearson Correlation. Overall the participation of respondents in the majelis taklim, 50% of respondents included in very good category, 45% of the respondents in good category, and 5% of respondents in less good category. Meanwhile, the quality of sakinah family of respondents is 26,67% and categorized as very good, 70% of the respondents are in good category and 3.33% of respondents are in the less good category. Based on the significance value of Coefficient table obtained significance value that is equal to, 000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that the variable "Majelis Taklim (X) affects the variable Sakinah Family (Y)" which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. by regression test, obtained that coefficient of determination (Rsquare) is equal to 0.351 which means the effect of independent variables (majlis taklim) to the dependent variable (sakinah family) is 35.1%.
