Abstract

Saat ini perkembangan teknologi mempengaruhi media pembelajaran, sehingga diperlukan adanya pelatihan pembuatan media berbasis teknologi. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang telah yang diperoleh bahwa 33,33% menyatakan kurang terampil dalam menggunakan teknologi ketika menyusun bahan ajar IPA. Oleh karena itu, tim Program Dosen Wajib Mengabdi (PDWA) berusaha menyelesaikan permasalahan melalui kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis teknologi menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Tujuan pelatihan ini untuk menambah wawasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru MGMP IPA dalam membuat media pembelajaran IPA berbasis teknologi. Adapun metode yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini mengadopsi penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 4 antara lain tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, refkleksi. Pelaksanaan pengabdian menggunakan 2 mode yaitu moda daring dan moda luring. Moda daring dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Juli 2023 via Zoom Meeting dan moda luring dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 Juli dan 5 Agustus 2023. Kegiatan moda luring dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Alalak Kabupaten Barito Kuala dihadiri oleh 19 orang guru IPA. Berdasarkan angket evaulasi pemahaman peserta dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru paham dan bisa membuat media pembelajaran dengan memperoleh nilai 75,08% dan mendapatkan respon baik. Pelatihan ini memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dengan kategori baik. Currently, technological developments influence learning media, so training in creating technology-based media is needed. Based on the results of the questionnaire obtained, 33.33% stated that they were less skilled in using technology when compiling science teaching materials. Therefore, the Compulsory Service Lecturer Program (PDWA) team is trying to solve the problem through training activities in making technology-based science learning media using the Canva application. This training aims to increase the knowledge and skills of MGMP science teachers in creating technology-based science learning media. The method used in this training adopts classroom action research, which consists of 4 stages, including planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection stages. Implementation of service uses two modes, namely online mode and offline mode. The online mode was held on 21 July 2023 via Zoom Meeting, and the offline mode was held on 29 July and 5 August 2023. The offline mode activity was conducted at SMPN 2 Alalak, Barito Kuala Regency, attended by 19 science teachers. Based on the participant understanding evaluation questionnaire, it can be concluded that the teacher understands and can create learning media by obtaining a score of 75.08% and getting a good response. This training provides knowledge and skills in making technology-based learning media in the good category.

Abstract

Based on the questionnaire results filled out by the MGMP Natural Science teachers of Batola District, it was obtained that 44.44% stated they were sufficiently skilled in using technology when preparing science teaching materials, one of which is assessment. Therefore, the Mandatory Community Service Program team attempted to address the issue through training activities on creating technology-based science learning assessments using the Quizalize application. This training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of MGMP Natural Science teachers in creating technology-based science learning assessments. The training will be conducted in 3 sessions hybridly, consisting of 1 session via Zoom on July 21, 2023, and 2 sessions in person at SMPN 2 Alalak School on July 29 & August 5, 2023. The methods used in this training consist of 4 stages, including planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. Based on the evaluation questionnaire, it can be concluded that the participants understand and can create learning media by achieving a score of 75.08% and receiving positive responses.
