Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mengubah paradigma bisnis, mempengaruhi usaha-usaha kecil dan menengah, termasuk Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) Desa Klampar, Kabupaten Pamekasan, menjadi contoh potensial dalam pemanfaatan digital marketing dan sistem informasi chatbot untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar serta meningkatkan pendapatan. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi pemasaran, kualitas layanan, dan kepercayaan pelanggan. Penerapan teknologi ini bisa menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan daya saing BUMDES dan usaha kecil lainnya di era digital. Studi ini memberikan panduan bagi BUMDES lain dalam mengadopsi teknologi serupa guna meningkatkan kinerja mereka.

Abstract

The development of a tourism object is an important sector in the development of an area to support the economic power of the people in the area, this also applies to the East Kalimantan province.  In order to improve the tourist experience, the development of a tourist recommendation information system is a necessity. This research discusses the development of a web-based Tourism Recommendation Information System and Tourism Chatbot specifically for East Kalimantan Province.Item-Based Collaborative Filtering method is implemented in the development of this system. This method utilizes historical data of user preferences to recommend suitable tourist destinations. The data collected includes user preferences for various attractions, such as location, facilities, and types of activities. The development process starts from data collection and processing, building a web information system, to integration with a chatbot.Tourist Recommendation Information System provides recommendations for tourist destinations tailored to user preferences. Through a user-friendly web interface, users can explore interactive maps, find out the details of attractions, and see reviews from previous visitors. In addition, the Tourism Chatbot provides real-time information and recommendation services to users through an instant messaging platform. The trial results show that the Item-Based Collaborative Filtering method is able to provide recommendations that are relevant to user preferences. Users feel more assisted in planning their travel trips. The system also succeeded in increasing user interaction and engagement through the use of a responsive chatbot.In conclusion, the development of a web-based Tourism Recommendation Information System and Tourism Chatbot with the Item-Based Collaborative Filtering method can be an effective solution in improving the tourist experience in East Kalimantan Province. This system provides accurate recommendations and empowers users to plan a better and memorable tour.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of a recommendation information system to make it easier for customers to select and purchase Klampar batik in Pamekasan. This process is often complicated because it involves many factors such as various motifs, quality and prices of batik on the market. To overcome this challenge, we developed a chatbot-based system using the Chatbase Website platform. This approach involves a preliminary study to identify customer problems, an analysis of their needs, and a literature review of current recommendation systems and chatbot technology. This research designs the architecture of a web-based chatbot system, determines a recommendation algorithm based on customer preferences, and integrates a database containing information on various motifs, prices and quality of Klampar batik. Next, build a user-friendly website and chatbot, train a recommendation model with historical customer data, and integrate the system with social media and popular messaging services to reach more customers. This research conducts system testing to ensure optimal performance and evaluates customer responses to chatbot recommendations. The results show that customers feel more confident in choosing Klampar batik after using this system. Additionally, the system also provides manufacturers with insight into customer preferences, which can be used to improve their production and offerings. This research concludes that the development of a chatbot-based Klampar batik recommendation information system with the Chatbase Website can overcome initial problems in selecting batik in Pamekasan.
