Abstract

Salah satu tantangan bagi pelajar di era saat ini adalah game online, dimana game online memberikan dampak negatif bagi anak terutama terhadap minat belajarnya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengedukasi khususnya siswa-siswi SD Pondok Kasih Batam agar tidak terjerumus dalam kecanduan game online. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei analisis lapangan yang dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yakni; Pertama, Observasi, dimana tim PkM melakukan survei terhadap mitra kegiatan untuk memperoleh informasi berdasarkan kebutuhan lapangan. Kedua, implementasi edukasi terhadap siswa tentang dampak negatif game online. Ketiga, Mengevaluasi kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana keberhasilan PkM yang telah dilaksanakan. Melalui kegiatan ini peserta didik mempunyai wawasan yang lebih luas dan mampu memahami dengan benar dampak negatif dari kecanduan bermain game online terhadap minat belajar, kesehatan fisik dan mental. Kemudian siswa juga memahami bagaimana upaya yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar tidak terjebak oleh maraknya game online.

Abstract

Junior high school students are teenagers who are still growing both physically and in character. However, in the process of growth, various problems arise from teenagers in general. For example, brawls between students, skipping school, cheating, often being late for school, not doing assignments, disobedience and so on. Thus, this article aims to explain how to implement the Glasser learning model in the Christian religious education learning process as an effort to shape the personality of students at the junior high school level that reflects Christian values ​​through everyday behavior. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method with a library data approach which collects various data and facts sourced from previous research and has relevance to this article, then articles, books and internet media or websites that study related topics. All sources used can be academically accountable. The result of this paper is that students are able to become responsible, independent and virtuous individuals in accordance with Christian values, by accepting the Glasser learning model designed and carried out by Christian religious education teachers through the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Learning in independent learning emphasizes students being more active in being independent in carrying out their learning activities. However, in reality, students are still found who have difficulty understanding the learning and practical activities. Thus, the aim of this article is to explore a teacher's strategy in realizing freedom of learning for students through the learning process. so that the essence of independent learning can be carried out well. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method with an approach to library data sourced from journals, books and websites, where researchers study and take theories or opinions that are relevant to the study to produce conclusions. The result of this paper is that students are able to think systematically in their own way in understanding the learning delivered by educators and completing assignments and practices according to individual creativity. This is accomplished through the strategies implemented by teachers in the teaching and learning process. Thus, it is very important for an educator to have a strategy in realizing independent learning for students.
