Abstract

Nadiem Makarim telah meluncurkan kebijakan baru yang memunculkan program bernama Merdeka Belajar. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengevaluasi peran guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di TK Islam Al-Falah Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan dua orang informan, yaitu kepala sekolah dan seorang guru. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa para pendidik memiliki peranan krusial dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka di TK Islam Al-Falah. Penerapan kurikulum merdeka di sekolah ini meningkatkan kebahagiaan pendidik dan siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Guru memiliki kebebasan lebih dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka PAUD karena siswa berperan aktif dalam menentukan tema pembelajaran. Siswa diberi kebebasan untuk mengekspresikan ide dan kreativitas mereka. Hasil observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum merdeka berjalan dengan baik dan lancar di TK Al-Falah Jambi. Kegiatan yang dilakukan juga mendukung kemampuan kerjasama antara guru dan siswa, serta mengarahkan perkembangan dan pertumbuhan siswa di TK Al-Falah Jambi.AbstractNadiem Makarim has launched a new policy which has created a program called Merdeka Belajar. This research is intended to evaluate the role of teachers in implementing the independent curriculum at Al-Falah Jambi Islamic Kindergarten. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation with two informants, namely the school principal and a teacher. The findings of this research indicate that educators have a crucial role in implementing the independent curriculum in the Al-Falah Islamic Kindergarten. The implementation of the independent curriculum in this school increases the happiness of educators and students during the learning process. Teachers have more freedom in implementing the independent PAUD curriculum because students play an active role in determining learning themes. Students are given the freedom to express their ideas and creativity. The results of observations and interviews show that the independent curriculum runs well and smoothly at Al-Falah Kindergarten Jambi. The activities carried out also support the ability to collaborate between teachers and students, as well as directing the development and growth of students at Kindergarten Al-Falah Jambi.
