Abstract

Suatu percobaan lapangan untuk mempelajari pengaruh dosis pupuk urea terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi Varietas Ciherang pada sistem Legowo 4. Percobaan dilaksanakan mulai bulan Oktober 2013 sampai Januari 2014. Dilaksanakan di Desa Manyeti Kecamatan Dawuan Kabupaten Subang, dengan ketinggian 300 – 500 meter dpl. Jenis tanah adalah Alvulial dengan pH 4,7 tipe curah hujan termasuk kedalam tipe B menurut klasifikasi Schmidt dan Ferguson (1951). Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari satu faktor yaitu Dosis pupuk Urea terdiri dari 6 taraf : A = Tanpa Urea, B = Dosis pupuk Urea 100 kg/ha, C = Dosis pupuk Urea 150 kg/ha, D = Dosis pupuk Urea 200 kg/ha, E = Dosis pupuk Urea 250 kg/ha dan F = Dosis pupuk Urea 300 kg/ha. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan, terjadi Pengaruh Dosis pupuk Urea terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi Varietas Ciherang pada sistem Legowo 4, perlakuan Dosis pupuk Urea 250 kg/ha memberikan hasil terbaik, pemberian pupuk Urea 250 kg/ha mengasilkan berat gabah kering panen rata –rata 6,74 kg/petak, berarti produksi dalam satu hektar adalah 6,74 ton.

Abstract

A field experiment to study the effect of urea fertilizer on the growth and yield of rice varieties Ciherang Legowo system 4. The experiment was conducted from October 2013 to January 2014 . Held in the Village District of Dawuan Manyeti Subang district , with an altitude of 300-500 meters above sea level. Abstract

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari penentuan periode kritis tanaman bawang merah yang diakibatkan oleh persaingan dengan gulma sehingga dapat ditetapkan waktu penyiangan yang paling tepat sehingga dapat diperoleh pertumbuhan dan hasil yang terbaik. Percobaan dilaksanakan di desa Tenjolaya, kecamatan Kasomalang, kabupaten Subang dengan ketinggian tempat 1.000 m diatas permukaan laut, jenis tanah Andisol, tipe curah hujan termasuk C (agak basah) menurut perhitungan Schmidt dan Ferguson (1951). Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari delapan perlakuan, yakni : A. Disiangi 2 Minggu Setelah Tanam;  B. Disiangi 4 Minggu Setelah Tanam; C. Disiangi 6 Minggu Setelah Tanam; D. Disiangi 8 Minggu Setelah Tanam; E. Tanpa disiangi 2 Minggu Setelah Tanam; F. Tanpa disiangi 4 Minggu Setelah Tanam; G. Tanpa disiangi 6 Minggu Setelah Tanam; dan H. Tanpa disiangi 8 Minggu Setelah Tanam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  periode kritis tanaman bawang merah akibat persaingan dengan gulma adalah 4 hingga 6 Minggu Setelah Tanam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fertilizing nutrients that can increase the growth and yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) with hydroponic techniques. The research was conducted at the screen house of the Biotechnology Lab Research and Development Division of PT East West Seed Indonesia, in Benteng Village, Campaka District, Purwakarta Regency. This research was conducted in December 2017 until March 2018. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with 9 replications. Planting factor is a nutrient solution consisting of N1 enza nutrition, N2 alfesindo nutrition, and N3 ewindo nutrition. Parameters observed were plant height, plant dry weight, fruit length, fruit diameter, number of planted fruit and crop fruit weight. The media used in this study was roasted husk charcoal. The results showed that the response of nutrient solutions was significantly different from observations of plant height, whereas the response of nutrient solutions to observations of dry weight, fruit length, fruit diameter, number of fruit plantations and fruit weight of plantations were not significantly different. The results showed that the best nutritional solution was ewindo nutritional solution.

Abstract

Produktivitas ternak dilahan kering sepenuhnya bergantung pada ketersediaan pakan dan musim menjadi salah satu penentu ketersediaan pakan. Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Mawar Desa Kuaken TTU-NTT turut merasakan kondisi yang sama. Kegiatan peternakan yang dilakukan oleh KWT adalah penggemukan sapi dan pembibitan sapi serta mendapat bantuan perguliran dari pemerintah setempat. Masalah utamanya adalah ketersediaan pakan yang sangat terbatas sehingga sebagian anggota kelompok melepas ternak berkeliaran, sebagian harus berjalan berkilo-kilometer bahkan memanjat pohon yang tinggi untuk mencari pakan. Untuk itu diperlukan teknologi pengolahan pakan seperti silase. Silase adalah teknik pengawetan pakan pada suasana anaerob pada tempat yang disebut silo. Tujuan dari kegiatan program kemitraan masyarakat di KWT Mawar adalah melatih mitra untuk terampil dalam meningkatkan produktivitas ternaknya melalui penyediaan pakan yang berkualitas sepanjang musim. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah participatory action research, dimana KWT dan tim pelaksana secara bersama-sama ikut terlibat dalam kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan silase komplit dan dibantu oleh mahasiswa. Umumnya silase komplit dibuat seperti silase bahan tunggal lainnya perbedaannya terletak pada penggunaan bahan dan aditif yang lebih komplit. Silase komplit yang dihasilkanpun tergolong berkualitas seperti warna hijau alami/hijau kekuningan, beraroma asam, bertekstur padat dan tidak menghasilkan jamur. Kandungan nutrisi silase komplit tergolong berkualitas dengan kandungan bahan kering 43,08%, bahan organik 80,15%/BK, protein kasar 13,33%/BK, lemak kasar 7,12%/BK, serat kasar 12,50%/BK, BETN 45,35%/BK dan EM 3.112, 81 Kkal/BK dengan palatabilitas ternak yang dikategorikan tinggi. Disimpulkan bahwa silase komplit yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian dan KWT Mawar dapat berlangsung dengan baik dan menghasilkan silase komplit.

Abstract

Pakcoy cultivation in dry land is still not optimal due to the growing environment that requires technology. Fertigation verticulture is used as an effort to increase pakcoy production in dry land. The purpose of this study was to determine the fertigation time, composition of planting media and the distance between planting holes and their interactions in increasing nutrient uptake and efficiency of N and P absorption for pakcoy plants on the vertical fertigation system. This research was carried out in the agricultural garden of the Main Seed Center of the North Central Timor Regency Agriculture Office from June to December 2021. The study used an experimental method with a Separate Plot Design with 3 plots where the main plot was the fertigation time which consisted of 3 levels, namely W1 (60 seconds). ), W2 (90 seconds), and W3 (120 seconds). The main subplot is the composition of the growing media which consists of 4 levels, namely: M1 (Soil: Sand (1:1)); M2 (Soil: Biochar (1:1)); M3 (Soil: Biochar (1:1)); and M4 (Soil: Sand: Biochar (1:1:1)). The subplots are the spacing of the planting holes consisting of 3 levels, namely: J1 (15 cm); J2 (20 cm); and J3 (25 cm). There were 36 treatments which were repeated 4 (four) times in order to obtain a total of 144 treatments. Data analysis used a comparative test using the Duncan Multiple Range Test method at 5% level. The results showed that the fertigation time of 120 seconds (W3) and the composition of the growing media: biochar (1:1) (M2) and their interactions increased the N and P uptake of pakcoy plants grown in a verticulture system on dry land by treatment. The fermentation time of 120 seconds (W3) and the composition of the growing media: biochar (1:1) (M2) also increased the efficiency of N and P nutrient absorption.

Abstract

Utilization of Yard Land for Pakcoy Cultivation Verticulture System at KWT Mawar in Kuaken Village Timor Tengah Utara Regency. Mawar’s Woman Farmers Group (KWT) is located in Kuaken Village and has dry land with shallow and rocky solum. One of the businesses of KWT Mawar is cultivating vegetables. However, the land condition, which is quite dry and far from home, makes it difficult to cultivate crops, and they left her job as a housewife. The yard of Mawar’s KWT can be more productive for growing vegetables through the verticulture system. This service aims to utilize the yard as a pakcoy cultivation area with a vertical system using cow manure and biochar as a planting media at KWT Mawar, Kuaken Village. The activities were carried out in the KWT Mawar in June-August 2021. The activities consisted of several stages, namely: 1) verticulture pipe preparation, 2) planting media preparation, 3) seed sowing, 4) planting, and 5) harvesting. The result showed that the use of yardland through pakcoy cultivation with a vertical system provides many benefits for the community compared to cultivation in beds. This activity resulted in an average plant weight of 80.66 g/hole so total production of about 63 kg in 1 harvest was obtained. The productivity was 1.05 kg/paralon pipe. In addition, these activities have created food resiliences for the family, easier to carry out other activities as housewives, saved time and energy, can process rice husk and cow dung waste for a mixture of planting media, and made the yard have aesthetic value.

Abstract

Corn (Zea mays L.) is one of the agricultural products whose seeds are used for food. Therefore, a good storage method is needed in order to increase the percentage of seed quality. Storage is one of a series of activities carried out after harvest which aims to reduce or reduce seed moisture content and can also increase the vigor resistance and viability of seeds to the environment. There are two types of storage methods, namely traditional storage methods and modern storage methods. The modern storage method is a development of the traditional development method, only the tools and materials used are different. the lowest percentage germination rate of the six parameters observed was the traditional storage method in jerry cans. This means that the percentage of seed germination rates from the four methods with increased germination rate (>) is in accordance with the observed data even though the seed storage period is at the same time, namely from May to September.

Abstract

Research aimed at knowing the influence of biochar and compost tea level with different levels to increase the growth and yield of peanut plants in Entisol dry land. This research was conducted on 13 July 2019 in experimental Land of the Faculty of Agriculture University of Timor, village of Sasi, Kefamenanu-Timor Tengah Utara, East Nusa Tenggara. Research using the 3 x 3 factorial randomized block design (RBD) with three repeated. The first factor is doses Biochar which is based on 3 (three) levels: without Biochar 0 t/ha, Biochar 5 t/ha, Biochar 10 t/ha. The second factor is the Compost tea Level which is based on 3 (three) levels: no compost tea, 50 mL of Compost tea, 150 mL of Compost tea. Each was repeated 3 times so that there were 27 units of experiments. Interaction of Administration without biochar and compost tea level 150 ml/plant affects the ground temperature 21 HST While the combination treatment of biochar 10 t/ha and compost tea level 150 ml/plant interact positively (P < 0.005) in influencing the number of cropping pods and weight of one hundred seeds. Combination of 10 t/ha biochar and compost tea level 150 ml/plant is the best treatment and average does not give noticeable effect on each treatment level.
