Village funds allocation has been provided to village government by central government starting in 2015. The provision of village funds aims at ingreasing equitable development in urban areas. This study aims to design a model of implementation of village funds management and farmer empowerment, with a case of Manusasi Village, Timor Tengah Utara Distict, bordering with Timor Leste. This research was conducted in August-September 2020. The methods used in this research were quantitative descriptive analysis and SEM based on variance, namely Partial Least Square (PLS). The sampling method used in this study was accidental sampling, with the chosen sample of 75 households from the total popultation 258 huosehold farmers. Results of this study indicated that planning had a significant effect on the evaluation process of village funds. The multiplier effect value of village funds in Manusasi Village was 1.39. There was no direct effect between physical capital, social capital, and human capital on the empowermeny of farming community in Manusasi Village. An important component of the implementation model of village fund management and farmer empowerment is the socialisation of the use of village funds which aims to increase public knowledge about village funds and build partnerships with universities or other institutions as sources of experts. The role of experts is to help improve village fund management and improve the quality of programs and planning.Â

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the supply of potatoes in North Sumatra Province. The data used is time series data per two months starting from 2003 to 2012. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with OLS (Ordinary Least Square) model, analyzed by Eviews 8. The results of statistical estimation and econometric regression results can be used as a model for offering potatoes in North Sumatra Province. The results of the bid analysis that the price of cassava and harvested area had a significant effect on the supply of potatoes in North Sumatra Province.

Calculation of the cost of production is important to know the price conditions of garlic.This study aims to analize cost garlic farmers production and to know revenue cost ratio in Fatuneno Village North Central Timor Regency. This study was conducted in Fatuneno from April 2019 to August 2019. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The analysis shows that the cost of production is based on the smallest area of land Rp. 78.971/kg, and the largest land area Rp.28.921/kg, this is higher than the calculation of farmers for the smallest land area Rp. 20.301 and the largest area is Rp.13.242. The profitability ratio of garlic farming in Fatuneno village with the smallest land area is 1.48 and the largest land area is 2.27, with an average R / C ratio of 1.76.

Village funds provided by the Central Government to Village Governments are aimed at equitable distribution of the Indonesian economy. The Village Government is expected to be able to manage village funds to accelerate Indonesia's development, especially in disadvantaged areas. This study aims to analyze the multiplier effect of village funds in the border villages of the Republic of Indonesia- Democratic Republic of Timor Leste, North Central Timor Regency. The research was conducted in the border village of the Republic of Indonesia-Democratic Republic of Timor Leste in June-August 2020. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the multiplier effect rate in the research village is below 1.5. This shows that the use of village funds until 2020 has not been optimal because the economic activities carried out in border communities in North Central Timor Regency are still relatively low.

Subsidized fertilizer is one of the policies carried out by the government to increase agricultural production, especially food crops. This study aims to analyze the decision making of farmers to buy and use subsidized fertilizers, as well as the preferences of farmers in Biboki Anleu Subdistrict to use subsidized fertilizers. The research was carried out in June-August 2021. Quantitative description methods and logistic regression were used to analyze this study. The number of samples used in this study amounted to 320 respondents. The results of this study are the area of land, the performance of the extension worker, knowledge, the amount of production affect the decision of farmers to buy subsidized fertilizer. Decision making by farmers is significantly influenced by land area, performance of extension workers, knowledge, and ability to access information. The opinion and performance of the extension worker, land area, ability to access information and purchase fertilizer at official kiosks are the preferences of lowland rice farmers.

Consumption of areca nut has become a culture of society in the District of Kota Kefamenanu. Sliced dried areca nut is an option for consumption because it can last a long time. Slice dried arecal nut in Kota Kefamenanu sub-district is divided into two types, namely dry iris batu nut and iris dry muda nut. This study aims to analyze the consumer's decision to consume sliced dried areca batu and slice dry areca muda nut in Kota Kefamenanu District. This research was conducted from September to October 2021. The number of samples used in this study was 150. Consumer decisions in Kefamenanu City were analyzed by logistic regression using software Eviews9. The results showed that psychological factors and texture variables had a significant effect on consumer decisions to consume sliced dried areca nut in Kefamenanu City District.

Pupuk bersubsidi adalah barang yang diadakan oleh pemerintah kepada masyarakat guna untuk mempertahankan ketahanan pangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor dan tingkat keefektivitas distribusi pupuk bersubsidi di Desa Ponu. Waktu penelitian dari bulan Agustus-september 2021 di Desa Ponu Kecamatan Biboki Anleu Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara. Populasi sebanyak 300 dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan Quota Sampling sebanyak 90 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Analisis dalam penelitian menggunakan Structur Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa variabel modal manusia, modal sosial, modal fisik serta kinerja penyuluh berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas distribusi. Efektivitas distribusi pupuk bersubsidi dilihat dari indikator 6 Tepat yang menjadi kriteria menunjukan bahwa indikator tepat harga, tepat tempat, tepat mutu efektif dan indikator tepat jenis, tepat jumlah, tepat waktu cukup efektif.

Tujuan dari pengabdian adalah menjadikan vertikultur sebagai alternatif keterbatasan lahan yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat dan persediaan air yang sedikit dalam budidaya sayuran. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan di lahan pekarangan rumah anggota kelompok tani Sinar Manumuti Desa Upfaon, Biboki Selatan, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara. Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama 2 (dua) bulan (Oktober-Desember 2020). Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan dan pelatihan oleh tim pengabdian sampai kelompok tani terampil dan mandiri yang terdiri dari beberapa kegiatan antara lain : 1) sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuatan vertikultur; 2) sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan media tanam; 3) sosialisasi dan pelatihan penyemaian benih; 4) sosialisasi dan pelatihan penanaman pada vertikultur; dan 5) sosialisasi dan pelatihan perawatan tanaman. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian di kelompok tani Sinar Manumuti di Desa Upfaon dapat disumpukan bahwa memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan melalui sistem tanam vertikultur pada budidaya sayuran memberikan solusi bagi lahan dan ketersediaan air yang terbatas, pengabdian telah memberi pengetahuan baru kepada masyarakat mengenai vertikultur dengan banyak kelebihannya, dan anggota Kelompok Tani Sinar Manumuti dapat menghemat pengeluaran belanja kebutuhan pangan keluarga tanpa harus membeli.
