Abstract

The background to conducting this research is to understand the importance of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students in the context of democracy, which is an issue that cannot be ignored. The aim of conducting this research is to implement P5 activities at the junior high school level with the theme of democracy to introduce students to what democratic mechanisms are like and their implementation in the form of elections, especially in the upcoming elections, although in practice they only practice it when we carry out a general election. . The method used is a qualitative descriptive qualitative method. In this research, the techniques used in collecting data were interviews and documentation. The results obtained from the results of this research are research on the implementation of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students with the theme of the voice of democracy in the political year at SMPN 1 Mojosari by going through the stages that have been carried out in the project activities to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, which can provide students with an understanding of freedom. expression or the act of expressing opinions with equality lies in the view that all humans are considered equal in the eyes of the law.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of using the traditional game "engklek" for teaching English vocabulary mastery of grade 6 students at SDN Mlaten, Mojokerto. This research used a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of students in grades 6A and 6B at SDN Mlaten. Data was collected through pretest and posttest to measure students' vocabulary mastery before and after intervention. Data analysis was conducted using paired t-test statistical test to determine the significance of the value results. The results showed that there was a significant change in students' English vocabulary mastery after participating in learning using the traditional game "engklek". The average score of the pretest was 56.73 and the average score of the posttest was 82.65. The test carried out also produced positive results because the sig level. is below or less than alpha (0.00 < 0.05). This has implications for rejecting the null hypothesis (H0) and accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha). The use of the traditional game "engklek" has proven effective for teaching English vocabulary mastery at primary school.

Abstract

One of English language skills that widely use multimedia as a teaching medium is listening skills. This is because the most prominent teaching media for this skill is audio media. Meanwhile, audio media can be easily obtained in types of multimedia that have audio and visual elements such as videos, films, songs, games, etc. Apart from these two elements, other elements such as text and images are often found also in multimedia used in teaching listening skills. Teaching extensive listening skills in particular makes extensive use of multimedia in the teaching process. The aim of this research is to determine the type of multimedia chosen by students in extensive listening practice, and explain their reasons for choosing certain type of multimedia. This research use literature review design using content analysis to analyze data from the references. There are three steps applied in the content analysis process, namely data reduction, data display, and verification. Among the five multimedia listening materials used, film clips and documentaries are the materials that are always chosen, while songs are the materials that are least often chosen for extensive listening activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Assemblr Edu application as a vocabulary learning media and describe the response of seventh-grade students of SMPN 1 Gedeg Mojokerto to the media. This research is quasi-experimental research with a Non-equivalent Group design. The data collection techniques used were tests and questionnaires. Data collection tools used student worksheets and questionnaire sheets. The location of this research was SMPN 1 Gedeg, Gedeg District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java Province with a population of VII grade students as many as 256 students. The sample used was 64 students, with 32 students in the experimental class who used Assemblr Edu App media and 32 students in the control class who did not. The results showed that the use of learning media was effective as a media for vocabulary learning, with a t-test value of t = 4.127 and a significance of 0. Students' responses to this application were positive in cognitive (content knowledge 81.8%, understanding of use 81.6%, understanding of presentation 82.6%) and affective (motivation 78.1%, interest 82.8%, curiosity 81.3%) aspects. This shows that the Assemblr Edu application is effective in learning English, especially vocabulary material.
