Abstract

Many fire incidents that happened in settlement area kabupaten gresik , the researcher would willing to develop a small scale detection and firemen that monitored by smartphone. This system uses microcontroller arduino with teoriya resheniya izobreatatelskikh zadatch ( triz ) analysis. Methodology used in this research choose aim , gather field literature study and fiels observation. Spread questionnaire to 80 respondents. Analyze validity and reliability of questionnaire result. Continued by the manufacture and selection prototype design them process of making the prototype of design elected. The final stage of research is done testing physical and functions of the produced prototype. This prototype uses fire sensor DFR 0076 and furnished with gas sensor MQ2 and temperature sensor NTC Thermal Sensor. It comes with some features, Bluetooth, hydrant pump and smartphone Aplication. This Prototype tested and functioning well.

Abstract

To support product delivery, there is a need for distribution centers to send in a timely manner to various regions in Java Island. Research at PT. XYZ has a goal to determine the location of distribution centers that are effective and efficient in terms of minimizing transportation costs, because currently there are only old warehouses that are too far from distributors, with this distribution center, we can find out the cost comparison of product delivery to the intended distributor, and can also find out whether the center of gravity method can be applied to PT. XYZ or not. The case study of this research is product delivery in the East Java region by collecting product delivery data at PT. XYZ. This study uses Google Maps software to determine the coordinates of each customer, then calculates and processes the data using the Center of Gravity method. The research results obtained are the location of the new distribution center which is located in Kebontemu Hamlet, Peterongan District, Jombang Regency. With the new distribution center optimized by grouping, the effect on reducing transportation costs is 47%, and distances are 54%.

Abstract

Potatoes are Indonesia's abundant agricultural product. Potatoes can be used as a substitute for rice. Therefore potatoes are very popular as special food preparation in Indonesia. Geographically, Indonesia is an agricultural country. It greatly supports agricultural production. So that the quality and commodity of agricultural products (potatoes) remain high, it is necessary to have new ideas or ideas, one of which is processing potato chips to be of high quality. They prompted researchers to develop innovative equipment to speed up the process of processing potatoes into spiral chips by making appropriate technology machines that can produce more optimal production compared to conventional methods, namely 15 kg/hour. This appropriate technology machine is implemented in MSME potato chips in Kemiri Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency. This machine can help speed up processing so that production time can be increased optimally.

Abstract

Dunia usaha dan dunia industri (DUDI) terus mengalami perkembangan teknologi dengan cepat. Perubahan tersebut perlu diimbangi dengan kompetensi tenaga kerja agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Penguasaan teknologi juga menjadi keharusan bagi siswa SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan) yang memilih masuk ke dunia industri ketika lulus. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk memberikan wawasan penerapan teknologi di industri dan beberapa kompetensi yang dibutuhkan bagi calon tenaga kerja. Peserta dari siswa SMA dan SMK mendapat pelatihan terkait penggunaan alat uji dan ukur yang sering digunakan di industri serta cara kalibrasinya. Peserta juga diberikan pelatihan bagaimana merakit dan menggunakan komponen untuk pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS). Program ini diselenggaran oleh Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Wijaya Putra. Pelatihan diberikan oleh Dosen dan Praktisi dari program studi Teknik Industri, Teknik Mesin dan Informatika. Peserta juga diberikan pengetahuan penerapan teknologi tepat guna (TTG) melalui pameran teknologi hasil karya mahasiswa dan dosen Fakultas Teknik.

Abstract

Penelitian dalam sistem kinerja karyawan dengan metode 360 derajat ini dimaksudkan untuk mengevaluasi kelebihan, kekurangan, peluang, dan ancaman untuk divisi Housekeeping di Hotel Amarthahills. Implementasi strategi feedback 360o pada divisi Housekeeping Hotel Amarthahills adalah menciptakan penilaian kinerja yang adil dan objekti serta bertujuan menetapkan sistem kinerja bagi karyawan dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak dalam merumuskan instrumen evaluasi di setiap tingkat yang terkait. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode 360 derajat dimana metode ini merupakan sistem berbasis tujuan yang mengukur kinerja seseorang terhadap standar atau tujuan secara individu, sehingga setiap karyawan mempunyai uraian tugas dan spesifikasi pekerjaan yang jelas, terarah dan efektif. Metode 360 derajat ini melibatkan karyawan secara langsung melalui wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner di Hotel Amarthahills. Hasil dari sistem kinerja ini dapat mengevaluasi untuk memisahkan pekerja satu dengan pekerja lain yang tidak memuaskan dan menyarankan untuk menurunkan posisinya dari sebelumnya. Kesimpulan dari hasil sistem penilaian kinerja dengan metode 360 derajat ini didapatkan bahwa nilai pengetahuan dan wawasan sebesar 13,39.
