Abstract

The use of technology in delivering learning materials is very good. As video-based learning are very helpful in learning. Because the learning videos shown are equipped with sound, images and animations that can help students be more motivated in learning. This study aims to analyze the contents of the animated video “Learn Numbers" by Dr. Panda". Student motivation in this study was viewed from the use of video lessons by educators in learning. Does the animation contain learning about mathematics? Can animation educate children? Addition and subtraction in mathematics, namely number operations, is a material for learning mathematics at the elementary school level. So far, students have only been introduced to the material taught by the teacher through the blackboard and then recorded and given assignments without knowing what was learned. Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the hedonistic lifestyle changes in the era of globalization among students at Uin Raden Fatah Palembang. This research is descriptive qualitative research because it takes an approach that examines the hedonistic life among students at Uin Raden Fatah Palembang. The data collection technique was carried out by interviews with administrators and students of Uin Raden Fatah Palembang and the analysis we obtained. By using this research, we can collect information to answer research problems, provide in-depth and comprehensive understanding according to the object being researched and also become a challenge in itself because the influence of hedonism in this era of globalization can bring positive or negative results for UIN Raden Fatah students, Palembang. The end of this research is that the researcher knows that there is a change in the Hedonistic lifestyle among UIN Raden Fatah Palembang students. The hedonistic style is also influenced by several factors, namely internal and external. One of the biggest supporting factors is external factors involving reference groups. It is from this reference group that hedonistic behavior can emerge if we cannot restrain and limit ourselves.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji posisi bahasa Inggris dalam konteks politik bahasa Indonesia dan dampaknya terhadap pendidikan bahasa Inggris di tingkat sekolah dasar. Di Indonesia, bahasa Inggris tidak diprioritaskan dalam kebijakan bahasa nasional, seperti yang tercantum dalam Undang-Undang No. 24 Tahun 2009 yang menetapkan bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa utama pengantar di sekolah dan bahasa resmi di sektor publik dan swasta. Meskipun kebutuhan global terhadap bahasa Inggris terus meningkat, penghapusan pengajaran bahasa Inggris dari kurikulum sekolah dasar pada tahun 2013 dan pengurangan waktu pengajaran di sekolah menengah yang dimulai pada 2014 menunjukkan keputusan yang kontroversial. Keputusan ini berakar pada anggapan bahwa bahasa Inggris dapat berdampak negatif pada kinerja akademis siswa, meskipun penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan bahasa Inggris dapat mendukung, bukan mengganggu, penguasaan bahasa Indonesia. Artikel ini juga membahas implementasi program pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dasar di SDN 008 Teluk Jira, sebuah sekolah dasar di Desa Teluk Jira, Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. Program ini, yang baru dimulai dua bulan lalu, mencakup semua tingkat kelas dari 1 hingga 6 dengan metode pembelajaran interaktif seperti menyanyi dalam bahasa Inggris dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi dengan pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa, serta peningkatan minat belajar mereka. Meskipun ada kemajuan, beberapa siswa masih memerlukan peningkatan dalam keterampilan menulis dan berbicara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen untuk mengukur efek program ini terhadap pengetahuan bahasa Inggris dasar siswa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan interaktif dan menyenangkan dalam pembelajaran dapat memotivasi siswa dan meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Inggris mereka secara efektif. Artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya integrasi bahasa Inggris dalam kurikulum pendidikan dan strategi yang berhasil diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SDN 008 Teluk Jira.

Abstract

This writing is based on the idea of the need for renewal in the learning model of social science as a response to the symptoms of weakening the quality of the process and results of social studies learning in an effort to prepare early students to become good citizens. This writing uses descriptive qualitative research that uses library research methods to obtain data according to the topic of the problem in the study. The data sources taken are journals and relevant references are research quoted from books. The results of the study state that the cooperative learning model can improve the interpersonal intelligence of elementary school students in ips learning. The cooperative learning model can build communication between students by discussing with group friends, students are taught to be able to respect each other, communicate, and students can work together with their groups so that interactions with other students occur.
