Abstract

The study discusses the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in Islamic education, with a focus on emerging ethical opportunities and challenges. AI offers a variety of opportunities in enriching the learning experience, such as adaptive learning, personalized education, and access to science globally. However, the application of AI also raises a number of ethical questions related to privacy, dependence on technology, and the potential for algorithmic bias that can affect Islamic values. This research uses a qualitative approach, by reviewing related literature and case studies of AI implementation in Islamic educational institutions. The findings suggest that while AI can improve the effectiveness of education, a strong ethical framework is needed for its application to be in line with the principles of Islamic teachings. Thus, this research offers an important perspective for policymakers, educators, and technology developers in integrating AI responsibly in the Islamic education environment.

Abstract

Kurikulum pendidikan Islam memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk generasi yang berakhlak dan berpengetahuan. Dalam upaya meningkatkan relevansi dan kualitas pendidikan, pengembangan kurikulum yang berbasis kearifan lokal menjadi salah satu strategi yang potensial. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kurikulum pendidikan Islam yang berbasis kearifan lokal di sekolah-sekolah Islam. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, lokakarya, serta pendampingan kepada para guru dan kepala sekolah dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan kurikulum yang relevan dengan budaya lokal di Sekolah-sekolah Islam di Maleer Kota Bandung. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap ajaran Islam sekaligus memperkuat identitas budaya lokal, sehingga menciptakan harmoni antara agama dan kebudayaan. Selain itu, program ini juga berkontribusi dalam peningkatan kapasitas guru dalam menyusun dan menerapkan kurikulum yang adaptif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the integration of Islamic values into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning in secondary schools. In the era of globalization, STEM education is becoming increasingly important to prepare students for future challenges. However, education that only focuses on technical aspects without paying attention to spiritual and moral values can result in disorientation in students' lives. Therefore, this study proposes an approach that combines scientific aspects with Islamic values to create holistic learning. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. Data was collected through observation and analysis of curriculum documents. The results of the study show that the integration of Islamic values in STEM learning can improve students' understanding of the relationship between science and religious teachings, as well as motivate them to apply the knowledge learned in daily life in accordance with Islamic principles. Consistent implementation and support from all schools are needed to ensure the sustainability of this program.
