Abstract

Abstrak: Keberagaman bahasa yang terbentuk dari multikultur pada masyarakat, menyebabkan adanya pergeseran penggunaan bahasa dan mempengaruhi penggunaan bahasa lokal pada masyarakat Melayu Entikong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi penggunaan bahasa pada ranah keluarga di Entikong.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Entikong, Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey lapangan dengan memberikan questioner pada 100 responden, yang terdiri dari masingmasing 25 anak-anak, remaja, dewasa, dan orang tua. Kemudian, merekam percakapan dan wawancara kepada beberapa responden mengenai penggunaan bahasa pada anggota keluarga di rumah. Sampel penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling pada masyarakat Melayu di Kecamatan Entikong dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan formula Slovin. Data dianalisa menggunakan metode pendeskripsian kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan identifikasi, klasifikasi, analisis, dan deskripsi. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut menunjukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan bahasa penutur di rumah adalah faktor sosiokultur, pernikahan beda suku, tujuan sosial dan pendidikan, dan penguasaan bahasa. Kata Kunci: dialek melayu entikong, pemilihan bahasa, pemertahanan bahasa.Abstract: The diversity of language shaped by the multiculture in the society, cause the shifting of language use and affect the local language use in Entikong Malay society. Therefore, this present research aimed to find what kind of factors affect the language use in family domain in Entikong. This research was conducted in Entikong sub-district, West Kalimantan. The method use was field survey by giving a questioner to 100 persons, consist of 25 each children, adolescence, adult, and old respondents. Then, recording conversation and interviewing some respondents about the use of language with family members at home. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method in Entikong subdistrict Malay and sample taking used by Slovin’s formula. The data was analyzed by quantitative and qualitative describing with identifying, classifying. The result shows that the factors affect the speakers use language at home are socio-cultural factor, intermarriage or interethnic marriage, social and educational need, and communicative competence. Abstract

Abstract: Lexical Interference commonly happens in a bilingualism society. The People of Dayak Bidayuh in Badat lama village is a part of bilingualism society. The languages that they used are Bidayuh dialect and Malaysia Language. Most of Badat Lama People master the language but not all of them. The older people masters the languages mostly. The mastering of Malaysia Language affects their competence of Bahasa. Therefore, the aim of this research is to analyze the error of speaking in Bahasa. The error analyzed in word, phrase, and structure and it called as Lexical Interference. This research used a qualitative and quantitative method and it was a survey research. The collecting data technique of this research was by interview record. The result of it shows that there are 19 respondents of 25 respondents do the lexical interference either, word, phrase, and structure. Then, twoof 25 adult respondents do not do lexical interference. And then, only four respondents can not speak Bahasa. It concludes that amount 76% of the older respondents in Badat Lama did the Lexical Interference.Keywords: Lexical Interfernce, Badat Lama    Abstrak: Interferensi Leksikal merupakan hal yang biasa terjadi dalam masyarakat yang menggunakan lebih dari satu bahasa. Masyarakat dayak bidayuh di badat lama termasuk diantara masyarakat yang menguasai lebih dari satu bahasa, yaitu bahasa dayak dialek bidayuh dan bahasa Malaysia. Penguasaan bahasa Malaysia memang tidak dikuasai oleh semua masyarakat Badat Lama, namun sebagian besar dari mereka menguasai bahasa Malaysia terutama dari kalangan usia orangtua. Penguasaan bahasa Malaysia tersebut sangat mempengaruhi kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia mereka. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan atau kekeliruan yang terjadi ketika masyarakat kalangan usia orangtua berbicara berbahasa Indonesia. Kesalahan atau kekeliruan yang dianalisis adalah penggunaan kata, frase, dan struktur kata dalam kalimat atau biasa disebut dengan Interferensi Leksikal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan menggunakan jenis penelitian survey. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan rekaman wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 25 responden kalangan usia orangtua, terdapat 19 responden yang melakukan interferensi leksikal baik dalam bentuk kata, frase dan struktur dan 2 orang tidak melakukan interferensi leksikal. Terdapat empat responden yang tidak dapat berbahasa Indonesia. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat Badat Lama yang melakukan interferensi leksikal sebanyak 76% dari seluruh responden. Kata kunci: interferensi leksikal, Badat Lama

Abstract

Abstract: Code mixing is the mixing process between two or more languages in an utterance or a sentence in language phenomena. The phenomena tends to happen to the speakers who speak more than one language in the social interaction. Indonesia has many and hundred ethnic languages and dialect diversities. Moreover, for the people who live in the nation border area is easy to get the possibility to be influenced of the other languages or dialects in that community. One of the border areas in West Kalimantan that directly next to Malaysia border area is Gun Tembawang village, in Entikong sub-district, Sanggau district. The speech community in Gun Tembawang is indicated to use more languages. They usual mix the language using Malay dialect of Malaysia when they speak Bahasa. Some words of the malay dialects are, for instances, cakap (talk/speak), beng (bank), tengok (see), and tengah hari (noon). Therefore, this research conducts to find out the kinds of code mixing that appear in the Gun Temawang people when they speak Bahasa. Method of this research used qualitative descriptive method. It is a survey research used the data collecting by interview technique toward Gun Tembawang people, directly. The data of this research is their utterance in Bahasa. The result of this research shows that the kind of code mixing that appears in Gun Temawang people?s utterance is insertion. It is a process when the speaker mix by insert one word, words or phrase in a sentence.Keywords: code mixing, insertion, alternation, congruent lexicalization, and gun temawang. Abstrak: Code mixing merupakan peristiwa pencampuran dari beberapa bahasa yang digunakan dalam satu ujaran atau satu kalimat. Peristiwa ini cenderung terjadi dalam tuturan masyarakat yang menggunakan lebih dari satu bahasa dalam interaksi sosialnya. Negara Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara dengan ratusan bahasa daerah dan keberagaman dialek. Terlebih lagi pada masyarakat yang berada di daerah peratasan negara yang memungkinkan pengaruh penggunaan bahasa dari negara tetangga tersebut. Salah satu wilayah perbatasan di Kalimantan Barat, di Indonesia yang langsung berbatasan dengan wilayah negara Malaysia, yaitu Dusun Gun Tembawang, Kecamatan Entikong, Kabupaten Sangggau. Masyarakat tutur di Gun Tembawang terindikasi selalu mencampur bahasa Malaysia ketika mereka berbicara bahasa indonesia. Beberapa kosakata dari  bahasa melayu Malaysia seperti cakap (bicara), beng (bank), tengok (lihat), dan tengah hari (siang).Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis campur kode apa saja yang muncul dalam tuturan mereka ketika berbahasa indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan teknik pengamilan data menggunakan wawancara terhadap masyarakat Gun Tembawang. Data yang dianalisis adalah  tuturan mereka ketika proses wawancara berlangsung dengan menggunakan bahasa indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis campur kode yang muncul dalam tuturan masyarakat Gun Tembawang berjenis insertion, yaitujenis campur kode yang menyisipkan kata atau frasa dalam satu kalimat.Kata kunci: campur kode, penyisipan, alternasi, leksikal kongruen, dan gun tembawang.

Abstract

Appropriated learning method has an important role in achievement of a good learning outcomes. This study aims to find out the influence of Numbered Head Together learning method assisted by mathematical audio-visual media on learning outcomes in solid figure. This study used an experimental method in the form of One Group Pretest Posttest Design with the initial test and final test. The population of this study was the fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 01 Semanget consisting of 2 classes namely V-A and V-B. While the sampleof this research was the V-A class students. Data collection technique used test and documentation. The instrument of this study was the essay test. Based on the result of data analysis, the average of pretest was 46.65 and the posttest average was 70.55. The result of the paired samples t-test calculation in hypothesis testing are t count (8.410)>t table (2,024). It can be concluded that H a is accepted, it means that the Numbered Head Together method assisted byaudio visual mathematical media has a big influence on learning outcomes in solid figure. The calculation of the effect size using the Cohen formula obtaines of 1.82, this shows that the method of Numbered Head Together has a big influence on learning outcomes in the material of solid figure.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran “Mating” adalah model pembelajaran Matematika-Bahasa Inggris yang menggunakan sintaks model pembelajaran RME. Pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan Bahasa Inggris siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) model Borg and Gall. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di Sekolah Dasar perbatasan Entikong (Indonesia-Malaysia) setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran “Mating”. Adapun hasil uji coba kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris siswa setelah proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran “Mating” pada kelompok kecil mengalami peningkatan sebesar 30%, sedangkan pada uji coba kelompok besar tersebut meningkat sebesar 51,785%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah Matematika dan Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas III SDN No.12 Entikong dapat ditingkatkan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran “Mating”.  ABSTRACT Mating learning model is a learning model of Mathematic and English used RME learning model syntax. This learning can increase the ability of Mathematic problem solving and English. The research used a research and development method (R&D) by Borg and Gall method. The result of this research shows that there is an increase of the problem solving and Mathematic-English ability of elementary student in border area-Entikong (Indonesia-Malaysia) after applying this “Mating” method. While, trial test result of Mathematic problem solving and English in a small group after applying this method increases to 30%, whereas, the trial test result in a big group increases to 51,785%. So that, it concludes that the ability of Mathematic problem solving and English in the third grade student of public elementary school number 12 Entikong can be developed by learning model “Mating”.

Abstract

Abstact: The background of this research was the teacher professional performance in learning was lack. Beside that, the result of science learning outcome was not good enough. It showed that the science learning process did not show the maximal result yet. The method of this research used descriptive qualitative method. It was done by giving assessment to the science teacher of public elementary school 01 in Beduai, the science teacher of public elementary school 02 in Beduai, and the science teacher of public elementary school 05 Muara Ilai. The result of this research showed that the teacher professional performance in science learning process reached score in “Good” category, based on the education service of Beduai. The assessment of subject 1 amounted the average 67,23, the subject 2 was 66,53, and the subject 3 was 63,92. The description based on the subjects’ answer in interview showed that all of subjects used method in science learning. Then, they arranged learning planning before did the learning process. The subjects used media in learning process and did the evaluation in learning. In other hand, the description based on interview also showed that the student behavior in the science learning process was variation.    Keywords        : Teacher’s Professional Performance, Learning, Science Abstrak: Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kinerja guru dalam hal pembelajaran masih sangat kurang. Selain itu nilai atau hasil belajar siswa mengenai pelajaran IPA masih kurang memuaskan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran IPA terbilang belum menunjukan hasil yang maksimal oleh guru. Metode penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menilai guru mata pelajaran IPA di SDN 01 Beduai, SDN 02 Beduai, dan SDN 05 Muara Ilai.           Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kinerja guru dalam penyampaikan pelajaran IPA memperoleh penilaian berkategori “Baik” berdasarkan penilaian  Dinas Pendidikan Beduai. Penilaian subjek 1 mendapat nilai rata-rata 67,23, subjek 2 mendapat nilai rata-rata 66,53, dan subjek 3 mendapat nilai rata-rata 63,92. Sedangkan pendeskripsian berdasarkan jawaban subjek dalam wawancara menunjukkan bahwa semua subjek menggunakan metode dalam pembelajaran IPA. Kemudian, semua subjek menyusun RPP sebelum pembelajaran dilaksanakan. Semua subjek juga menggunakan media dalam pembelajaran dan melakukan evaluasi dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, hal yang dideskripsikan berdasarkan wawancara adalah mengenai sikap siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPA dan sikap siswa dijelaskan sangat bervariasi.Kata Kunci    : Kinerja Professional Guru, Pembelajaran, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam

Abstract

This research combines the MATING (Mathematics-English) Learning Model and Puzzle Board Media. The purpose is to develop the MATING learning model by the implementation of puzzle board media in the increasing of students’ problem solving. It conducted in Public Elementary School 01 Semanget and 12 Entikong toward the third-grade student, on March to November. The type of this research is development research with test, observation, and interview in the data collecting techniques. The data analysis technic was analysis-descriptive. Based on the first observation result shows that problem solving competence of both of them is same, it is 25%. Merely there is one problem solving competence on their problem-solving test sheet. Then, researcher conducts the small group tryout in public elementary school 12 Entikong (20 students) and the result shows that there is development in problem-solving competence, it is 50%. It means that there are three steps of problem-solving on their problem-solving test sheet (at the third level). Next, researcher conducts the big group tryout in both of the schools and the result is there are four level of problem-solving on their test sheet (at the fourth level). Thus, there is the increasing is 75% of students’ problem-solving competence. In short, the problem-solving competence can be developed by the combination of MATING learning model and puzzle board media.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kemampuan mengenal huruf pada siswa TK Negeri Satu Atap kenaman. Anak belum mencapai setiap indikator seperti menirukan bunyi huruf, menyebutkan huruf, menyusun huruf, mengenali bentuk huruf, dan merangkai suku kata menjadi kata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan apakah penggunaan media pohon huruf dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf melalui proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari empat langkah, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa yang berjumlah 7 anak terdiri dari 3 anak laki-laki dan 4 anak perempuan. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas siklus I diperoleh dari ketuntasan belajar siswa secara individual atau pun klasikal dengan nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 39,04% dan meningkat pada siklus II 88,80%. Kemampuan guru mengajar sangat baik, berdasarkan hasil, penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan telah berhasil karena persentase kemampuan mengenal huruf anak dan aktivitas mengajar guru di siklus II telah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan. Disimpulkan dengan menerapkan media ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf.
