Abstract

The research background is that it can develop biological assessment based on science process skills because science process skills are important for logical thinking to train students' thinking skills. From the results of the initial needs analysis of class X questions, science process skills are still low, the teacher has not fully developed the science process skills-based assessment because it still uses questions from biology books. This study aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of assessment based on science process skills developed in biology class X semester 2. This research is development research. Development is carried out using a procedural model by adapting Mcintire's research and development model, with 4 stages of test development including defining competencies, test participants and test objectives, developing test plans, compiling test items, writing administrative instructions. This research stage is limited because it only wants to know the characteristics and feasibility of the assessment. The research instrument used an interview sheet, a questionnaire sheet, and an observation sheet. Expert validation was carried out by 6 expert validators: (1) material experts; (2) linguists; and (3) evaluation experts; The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive that refers to the formula adapted by Sugiyono (2018) with a scale of 4. The results of this study are in the form of a biological assessment based on science process skills in the form of multiple-choice questions in which there is biology material for class X semester 2. Biological assessment characteristics are based on science process skills, namely using indicators consisting of observing, grouping, interpreting, predicting, asking questions, hypothesizing, planning experiments, applying concepts, and communicating. The feasibility of a biological assessment based on science process skills based on expert validators, the results are valid to very valid so that the biological assessment based on science process skills developed is feasible to be used to measure the science process skills of class X students.

Abstract

Watershed (DAS) Musi is the source of water from various economic activities,social and cultural rights of the people of Palembang. Condition of the waters of the MusiRiver Basin has declined due to natural and human activities. This study aims to determinethe relationship between the perceived level of housewives in the management of aquaticecosystems downstream watershed Musi Palembang. Data were analyzed using descriptivewith scoring based on the average value of the number of questions raised housewife. Thestudy concluded perception housewife elementary school and junior high school graduateshave poor perception while housewives graduate high school / vocational and collegegraduates have a good perception of the management of aquatic ecosystems downstreamwatershed Musi Palembang

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang berjudul Gerakan Bersih Lingkungan Bertema “Green Eco-Park” Solusi Tepat dalam Hijaukan Lingkungan Kampus FKIP UM Palembang ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang menjaga lingkungan hidup agar tetap terjaga kebersihannya dan menciptakan kampus FKIP UMPalembang yang hijau dengan tema Green Eco-Park. Sehingga mahasiswa dapat bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan disekitarnya. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tentang Gerakan Bersih Lingkungan Bertema “Green Eco-Park” Solusi Tepat dalam Hijaukan Lingkungan Kampus FKIP UMPalembang diharapkan dapat menanamkan kepedulian, bertanggung jawab, dan kesadaran semua masyarakat kampus terutama mahasiswa dalam kebersihan lingkungan sekitar kampus. Khalayak dan sasaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mahasiswa semester VII kelas A Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi. Mahasiswa yang terlibat berjumlah 45 orang mahasiswa dengan jumlah laki-laki 3 orang dan 42 perempuan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini membawa dampak positif bagi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi semester tujuh khususnya kelas A.Kata kunci: Lingkungan, Green Eco-Park, UMPalembang

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sel di SMA Negeri Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, populasi penelitian semua SMA Negeri Palembang, sampel penelitian yaitu SMA Negeri 4 Palembang, SMA Negeri 8 Palembang, SMA Negeri 9 Palembang dan SMA Negeri 19 Palembang. Teknik pengambilan data diambil secara purposive sampling, memilih berdasarkan letak wilayah dan kecamatan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar wawancara, kuesioner, observasi, dokumentasi dan tes pilihan ganda (Multiple Choice Test) berjumlah 20 soal berpikir kritis pada materi sel. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi lembar kuesioner, lembar wawancara, lembar observasi dan soal pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal berpikir kritis. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran dan daya pembeda. Dari hasil rata-rata observasi siswa keseluruhan berpikir kritis yaitu SMA Negeri 4 Palembang sebesar 33,45%, SMA Negeri 8 Palembang sebesar 31,91%, SMA Negeri 9 Palembang sebesar 30,38% dan SMA Negeri 19 Palembang sebesar 32,67%. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata hasil nilai tes keterampilan berpikir kritis yaitu SMA Negeri 4 Palembang sebesar 25,95%, SMA Negeri 8 Palembang sebesar 42,55%, SMA Negeri 9 Palembang sebesar 34,20% dan SMA Negeri 19 Palembang sebesar 27,55%. Dari keempat SMA Negeri Palembang diperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 32,56% dikategorikan masih tergolong rendah hal ini disebabkan bahwa tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa masih kurang dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru.

Abstract

Science process skills is the ability of students to apply scientific methods in understanding, developing science and discovering knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of questions for each Science process skills indicator on biology material in Senior High School at Palembang. The research method was used descriptive was qualitative. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample used was the odd semester final exam questions in Senior Hight School Palembang. The instruments was used in the study were tests and non-tests. Non-test instruments in the form of interview sheets, questionnaire sheets, observation sheets and documentation. The test instrument was used the class X odd semester final exam question instrument made by the teacher. The technique for analyzing the data was used percentage technique. The results obtained from the analysis of semester final exam odd questions for the 2019/2020 year school in Palembang High School, there were 4 Science process skills indicators that were applied to the question instrument with a deficient category consisting of observing indicators (6.32%), grouping indicators (18.02 %), the indicators predict / predict (3.75%) and the indicators plan the experiment (2.50%), while the indicators interpret, ask questions, hypothesize, apply concepts and communicating (0%) in the poor category. The analysis of Science process skills questions on biology material in Senior High School in Palembang was categorized as lacking because the school had not fully made the Science process skills based question instrument and the questions made on average were still at the cognitive limit.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis bahan ajar dan model pembelajaran apa yang dibutuhkan oleh guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada materi sistem peredaran darah. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan pada 3 SMA yang ada di Palembang, yaitu SMA Negeri 4 Palembang, SMA Negeri 9 Palembang, dan SMA Negeri 19 Palembang. Dimana pada masing-masing SMA diambil perwakilan 2 kelas XII IPA dengan jumlah siswa pada tiap kelas sebanyak 35 sampai 36 peserta didik. Instrument yang digunakan berupa lembar angket guru berjumlah 28 pertanyaan dan lembar angket peserta didik berjumlah 15 pertanyaan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan dari ketiga SMA Negeri di Palembang, disimpulkan bahwa guru dan siswa membutuhkan bahan ajar LKPD berbasis model PBL yang berformat elektronik untuk materi sistem peredaran darah. Keywords: Bahan ajar, Keterampilan pemecahan masalah, PBL, Sistem peredaran darah

Abstract

This study is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aimed to improve students' attitudes, skills and knowledge on additives and addictive substances using Discovery learning model. This study was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of As Shiddiqiyah Junior High School in the first semester with a total of 30 students. Data analysis was carried out with quantitative descriptive techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the attitude of students in the learning process had increased, it was known from the results of the average classroom observations in the first cycle was 68.15 which had an increase in the second cycle to 81.14. The skills of students in the first cycle obtained an average yield of 71.36 which increased in cycle II to 84.11. The results of the written test in the first cycle of students' cycles were 59.61 in the second cycle to 81.07. The percentage value in the cycle is 31%, and increases in cycle II by 82%. Based on this study, classical achievement had exceeded 75%, it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes from the attitudes, skills and knowledge of students in additives and addictive substances in 8th grade As Shiddiqiyah Junior High School. Tujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap, keterampilan dan pengetahuan siswa pada materi zat aditif dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, tiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP As Shiddiqiyah semester I Tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh ranah sikap siswa pada proses belajar mengalami peningkatan, diketahui dari hasil observasi rata-rata kelas pada siklus I adalah sebesar 68,15 mengalami peningkatan di siklus II menjadi 81,14. Keterampilan siswa pada siklus I memperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 71,36 mengalami peningkatan disiklus II menjadi 84,11. Hasil tes tertulis siswa disiklus I nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 59,61 di siklus II menjadi 81,07. Nilai persentase di siklus sebesar 31% , dan meningkat di siklus II sebesar 82%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini pencapaian klasikal telah melampaui 75% , dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar dari sikap, keterampilan dan pengetahuan siswa pada materi zat aditif dan zat adiktif dikelas VIII SMP As Shiddiqiyah dalam kategori baik sekali. Abstract

This research is motivated by several statements which state that CAM can have a positive effect on learning outcomes. The purpose of the study was to determine whether there was a difference in the effect of applying the concept attainment model on student learning outcomes in science subjects on the structure and function of plant tissue when compared to the lecture method for class VIII SMP Negeri in Kisam Tinggi District, OKU Selatan Regency. The research method used is an experimental design with a quasi-experimental design type Nonequeivalent control group design. The population of this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri in Kisam Tinggi District which consisted of 2 schools. The sample at SMP 1 Kisam Tinggi for the experimental class is VIII E while the control class is VIII B. The sample used at SMP 2 Kisam Tinggi for the experimental class is VIII B while the control class is VIII A. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Collecting data with a written test that is by giving a pretest and posttest. The results of the study the average posttest value of the experimental class was 76.00 and the average posttest value of the control class was 51.45. Data analysis was carried out using the Independent Sample T Test with the help of the SPSS 23.0 program. Obtained a significance value of 0.000. The value of sig < 0.005 indicates that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a difference in the effect of the application of the concept attainment model on the learning outcomes of plant tissue structure and function when compared to the lecture method for class VIII of public junior high schools in Kisam Tinggi sub-district, OKU Selatan district. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa pernyataan yang menyatakan CAM dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan pengaruh penerapan concept attainment model terhadap hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPA materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan jika dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah  kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Kisam Tinggi Kabupaten OKU Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan quasi experimental design tipe Nonequeivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Kisam Tinggi yang terdiri dari 2 sekolah. Sampel pada SMP 1 Kisam Tinggi untuk kelas eksperimen yaitu VIII E sedangkan kelas kontrol VIII B, Sampel yang digunakan pada SMP 2 Kisam Tinggi untuk kelas eksperimen yaitu VIII B sedangkan kelas kontrol VIII A. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan test tertulis yaitu dengan cara memberikan pretest dan Posttest. Hasil penelitian nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 76,00 dan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol 51,45  Analisis data dengan Independent Sample T Test dengan bantuan program SPSS 23.0. Diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Nilai sig < 0,005 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak artinya terdapat perbedaan pengaruh penerapan concept attainment model terhadap hasil belajar materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan jika dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the interest and learning outcomes of students' biology in online learning at SMA Negeri Purwodadi, Musi Rawas Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a case study research strategy. Based on the results of the questionnaire given to students, there were 130 students who answered the questionnaire. There are four indicators of learning interest that are measured, namely feelings of pleasure, interest, attention and involvement. The happy feeling indicator is a high enough indicator for interest in learning because all students feel happy to take part in biology learning during online learning because students can do online learning anywhere. Then from the indicators of student interest in learning, the involvement indicator is the lowest indicator because students in online learning do not have the awareness to study independently at home. The results of students' biology learning in online learning KD 3.14 which is about the immune system there are 22 students with the lowest score of 75 and 37 students getting the highest score of 98. Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui minat dan hasil belajar biologi siswa pada pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri Purwodadi Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan strategi penelitian studi kasus. Berdasarkan hasil angket yang diberikan kepada siswa terdapat 130 siswa yang menjawab angket. Terdapat empat indikator minat belajar yang diukur yaitu perasaan senang, ketertarikan, perhatian dan keterlibatan. Indikator perasaan senang merupakan indikator yang cukup tinggi untuk minat belajar karena seluruh siswa merasa senang mengikuti pembelajaran biologi selama pembelajaran daring karena siswa dapat melakukan pembelajaran daring dimana saja. Kemudian dari indikator minat belajar siswa indikator keterlibatan merupakan indikator yang paling rendah karena siswa pada pembelajaran daring siswa kurang memiliki kesadaran untuk belajar secara mandiri dirumah. Hasil belajar biologi siswa pada pembelajaran daring KD 3.14 yaitu tentang sistem imun terdapat 22 siswa dengan nilai terendah 75 dan 37 siswa mendapatkan nilai tertinggi yaitu 98.

Abstract

This research was motivated by several statements by students who felt boredom in learning and reduced interest in learning in online learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the factors that cause student boredom and interest in online learning in biology lessons at SMAN 1 Unggulan Muara Enim. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIPA and biology teachers. Data were collected by direct observation, open questionnaires to students via google form, direct biology teacher interviews and student interviews via google form. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis technique. The results showed that the learning saturation factor showed thad students experienced boredom in the learning process because the learning method provided by the teacher was not interesting. Meanwhile, the results of the study showed that students' interest in learning factors showed that all students did the assignments given by the teacher. This shows that the condition of learning boredom felt by students does not reduce students' interest in learning in participating in online learning at SMAN 1 Unggulan Muara Enim. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa pernyataan siswa yang merasakan kejenuhan belajar dan minat belajar berkurang dalam pembelajaran daring. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui faktor yang menyebabkan kejenuhan dan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring pada pelajaran biologi di SMAN 1 Unggulan Muara Enim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA dan guru biologi. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi melalui secara langsung, kuesioner terbuka kepada siswa melalui google form, wawancara guru biologi secara langsung dan wawancara siswa melalui google form. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor kejenuhan belajar siswa menunjukkan jika siswa mengalami kejenuhan dalam proses pembelajaran dikarenakan metode pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru tidak menarik. Sedangkan pada hasil penelitian faktor minat belajar siswa menunjukkan jika seluruh siswa mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru. Hal ini menunjukkan jika kondisi kejenuhan belajar yang dirasakan oleh siswa tidak menurunkan minat belajar siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran daring di SMAN 1 Unggulan Muara Enim.
