Abstract

The role of human resources in an organization that is increasingly important with the increasing complexity of tasks, responsibilities, and challenges facing today's organizations. High-quality workforce one of which is driven by high morale. Thus will contribute to the advancement and survival of the organization. One of the factors that affect morale is a factor characteristics of the job is a factor that will make employees have a high morale.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPurpose – this study was conducted to see how much influence leader member exchange and personality to employee voiceDesign/methodology/approach – this type of research This research uses descriptive and  verification method, with explanatory survey. Saturated sample of nonprobability sampling was used in sampling technique which amounted to 47 people. Multiple correlation was used in data anlysis technique.Findings – based on the result of research that the employee voice is affected by leader member exchange and personality.Orisinality – the difference in this study with other study located from independent variable, the object of research, population and sample, measurment, and as well as research result, the resource of theory from journals and books, so the theory used is different. Keywords              : Leader Member Exchange, personality,, Employee Voice, communication, employee relation, organization effectiveness.

Abstract

Employees who are committed to the organization have a tendency to continue working in the organization. The loss of employee commitment means organizations lose support and loyalty from employees in achieving organizational goals. One of the companies that experienced a decline in employee organizational commitment was X Bank. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence job involvement and job satisfaction on organizational commitment. The object in this study was employees of X bank, one of Indonesia's conventional banks. This study used saturated samples with 54 respondents. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares (PLS) with computer software program smartPLS version 3.0. The results reveal that job involvement and job satisfaction influence organizational commitment. This shows that the higher job involvement and employee job satisfaction together, the higher the organizational commitment of X Bank employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to see how much influence the social work environment and career development had on employee job satisfaction. Type of Research Methodology used is descriptive verification. The method used is explanatory survey with simple random sampling technique and the number of samples is 102 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with SPSS 21.0 computer software tools. The findings based on the results of the study can be seen that simultaneously or partially the social work environment and career development can improve employee job satisfaction. The difference in this study lies in the research object, research time, measuring instruments, literature used, the theory used and the results of the study.

Abstract

Objective of this research is to determine the effect of burnout and work discipline on employee performance. This research was conducted in a span of less than one year, so the research design used was a cross-sectional method. This study uses a descriptive and verification approach with explanatory survey methods. A total of 100 respondents were selected as samples using probability sampling. The research questionnaire is used as a research instrument to collect data from respondents, and the data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The findings of this research is work fatigue (burnout) and work discipline have a significant influence on employee performance.  Differences found in objects and research methods, population and research samples, research periods, measurement tools and research results, and sources of theory from foreign journals and foreign books

Abstract

Perkembangan usah jasa boga di Indonesia cukup berkembang dengan pesat. Kondisi ini ditunjangn dengan pergeseran pola hidup yang menyukai kepraktisan termasuk dalam hal makanan. Terutama bagi orang yang sibuk bekerja tidak memiliki banyak waktu untuk mengolah dan menyiapkan makanan sendiri sehingga mereka mulai beralih dengan memanfaatkan jasa penyajian makan siap saji yang disebut juga pelayanan jasa boga. Salah satu usaha yang bergerak di bidang usaha jasa boga adalah Celdi Catering. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Celdi Katering saat ini adalah terjadinya penurunan jumlah profit. Dugaan semua ini karena adanya ketidakpuasan dan ditemukanya beberapa keluhan terhadap kualitas produk yang diberikan oleh Celdi Katering. Oleh sebab itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada Celdi Katering. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriftif dan verifikatif. Sedangkan pengumpulan data dengan cara menyebar kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan harus bisa meningkatkan setiap dimensi dari kualitas produk terutama untuk dimensi temperature (panas/suhu) dan texture/form/shape (susunan/bentuk/potongan). Kata Kunci: Kepuasan Konsumen, Kualitas Produk

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to determine whether how much influence transformational leadership has on employee engagement and its implications for the performance of employees of public sector organizations. The design of this study was a cross-sectional method and used descriptive and verification type research methods. Data for this study were collected using a saturated sample with a total sample of 40 people. Analysis of this research data using simple linear regression with SPSS 24.0 for Windows computer software program (Statistical Product for Service Solution). The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership in public sector organizations is quite effective, employee engagement is in the high category and employee performance is in the high category. The current study found that the impact of effective transformational leadership can increase employee engagement and vice versa, if transformational leadership is not effective then employee engagement will not increase. This also happens to employee performance, if employee engagement is low it will result in low employee performance and conversely if employee engagement is high then the performance of employees will also increase.

Abstract

The crisis of employee performance is a critical problem faced by management in the company. Employee performance problems are still widely faced by companies in various sectors in many countries, both engaged in the public and private sectors, in health institutions, education, banking, state-owned companies, to small companies. The low intensity and inaccessibility of work targets due to the low quality of the performance of human resources. Performance is a real behavior that is shown by every employee must be in accordance with his role in the company, that the impact of low employee performance is the quality and quantity of work produced is less satisfactory and the creativity of employees is low. This happened at PT XYZ company where the level of employee performance decreases every year. Surely this is far from the expectations of companies that ask their employees to have good performance. This study discusses research on work discipline and occupational safety health (k3) on employee performance This research uses quantitative methods involving 45 respondents using saturated samples with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the picture of work discipline in the high category, the picture of occupational safety and health (k3) in the category is quite high and the description of employee performance in the high category.

Abstract

The purpose of the research to find out the influence of work environment toward motivation and motivation effect to organizational commitment. The object which became analysis unit in this research are employees of textile industry X. This research is using verificative with explanatory survey as a method. Data collection technique used questionnaire with 180 respondents as sample. The result of this research found that the influence of work environment toward the motivation is 69,1% which was in the strong category. However, motivation affects to employee organizational commitment is 45,3% which was in the strong category. This research found out that if work environment is conducive, it will increase employee motivation. High motivation will build high organizational commitment. The employees who have high organizational commitment will do the job optimally and more responsible, so that the company could achieve the objectives.

Abstract

Abstract: The success of achieving organizational goals is largely determined by the roles and responsibilities of employees in it. Employees are required to be able to support and be involved in every activity to achieve goals in the organization. The inability of employees to do work optimally will cause problems in employee performance. Employee performance can affect an organizational performance which has an impact on the realization of the organizational goal. This article provides a numerical study of 1) the effect of employee engagement on performance, and 2) the effect of organizational climate on performance. This research employed verificative study through an explanatory survey using sampling amounting to 84 employees in public organization as respondents through questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression technique through Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 24.0 for windows. The results of the research indicate that the 1) employee engagement has an effect on performance by 49% or in the moderate category, 2) organizational climate has an effect on performance by 76,6% or in the strong category. This result indicated that higher employee engagement will be higher performance, as well as the organizational climate, the better the climate in the organization will be the higher employee performance and vice versa.Â
