Abstract

This research aims to find the influence of applying cooperative learning jigsaw type to improve the learning outcomes of the 6th semester students in the course of History of Christian Religious Education at STAKN Kupang in 2017. Quantitative research methods with the quasi experiment nonequeivalent control group design approach was used as a research method. The experimental study involved two groups of students, the experimental group and the control group, each of which was given pre-test and post-test. The target population of 62 students was divided into two different groups. Each consisted of 32 students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group. The results showed that  the application of cooperative learning jigsaw type was able to improve students’ learning outcomes at 30.625 or 30.6 persen with significance value on the sig. value  (2-tailed) by 0.000 <0.05 or there is a significant increase. The average value of students’ learning outcomes using cooperative learning model with jigsaw approach is greater than 8.586 with significance value at sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.003 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the value of learning outcomes compared to that of students using only conventional methods such as lectures

Abstract

This Paper is the result of a study of the extent of STAKN Kupang students’ understanding of General Church History Periodization. This research uses survey method with samle of 147 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and then analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The result showed that the level of understanding of STAKN Kupang students was in the capable category.The Respondents’ denomination is in the category of able to very capable. This show that students, lectures and institutions have synergized well; students have a high understanding of the periodization of the history of the general church, lectures teaching with professionals and STAKN Kupang who always maintain and improve the equality of educational institutions. Scientific contributions from this research can be used as a source of study of Christian religious education. Such as hermeneutics, dogmatis, ethics, practica, theology form which can take something to deepen the knowledge and thingking of studet theology. Tulisan ini merupakan hasil kajian tentang sejauh mana tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa STAKN Kupang terhadap periodisasi Sejarah Gereja Umum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan jumlah sample 147 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan kemudian dianalisa secara deskirptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa STAKN Kupang berada pada kategori mampu. Denominasi sebaran responden berada pada kategori mampu menuju sangat mampu. Ini menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa, dosen dan lembaga telah bersinergi dengan baik; mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman yang tinggi terhadap Periodisasi Sejarah Gereja Umum, dosen mengajar dengan profesional dan STAKN Kupang yang selalu menjaga dan memperbaiki kualitas lembaga pendidikan. Sumbangan ilmiah dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sumber kajian mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama Kristen seperti hermeneutik, dogmatika, etika, teologi praktika yang daripadanya dapat kita ambil sesuatu untuk memperdalam pengetahuan dan pemikiran teologi mahasiswa. Sumbangan ilmiah dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sumber kajian mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama Kristen seperti hermeneutik, dogmatika, etika, teologi praktika yangdari padanya dapat kita ambil sesuatu untuk menperdalam pengetahuan dan pemikiran teologi mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the values of character education in Latal rituals in North Langkuru village. To Answer the research objectives, the author uses qualitative methods with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. With this method, it is found that there are character education values in Latal rituals in North Langkuru Village. The values contained in Latal rituals are the value of cooperation, solidarity, mutual respect, religion, responsibility in ritual implementation, obedience, sincerity in carrying out rituals, fair and square in distributing land. The inclusion of character values in the ritual appears in the life of the north Lengkuru Village community and is willing to sacrifice, loyal friends, obedient, sincere, fair, and square.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang ter-kandung dalam ritual latal di desa Langkuru Utara yang masih dianggap relevan dengn kehidupan masyarakat saat ini, sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif pendidikan karakter. Untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawan-cara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dengan metode tersebut ditemukan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam ritual Latal di desa Langkuru Utara. Nilai-nilai yang terka-dung dalam ritual Latal yaitu nilai gotong royong, solidaritas, saling menghormati, religius, ber-tanggung jawab dalam pelaksanaan ritual, kepatuhan, ketulusan dalam hal menjalankan ritual, jujur dan adil dalam pembagian lahan. Tertananmnya nilai-nilai karakter dalam ritual tersebut nampak pada kehidupan masyarakat desa Langkuru dalam budaya tolong-menolong, saling menghargai dan menghormati, kerja keras dan rela berkorban, setia kawan, kepatuhan dan ketulusan, jujur dan adil.

Abstract

Generation Z as active internet users has the potential to be exposed to radicalism issues which then have an impact on intolerance, especially in this era of disruption. Tolerance agent training for Generation Z which is carried out aims to increase understanding of religious tolerance, so that Generation Z can become agents of change in society in order to create a tolerant Indonesian society. Specifically, the delivery of material in this PkM activity was carried out by means of lectures, questions and answers, games, and individual exercises. The results of the PkM activities showed that 96.4% of participants understood the material presented, 98.8% of participants' satisfaction with the implementation of the activities, and 83% of participants' readiness to become tolerance agents. Based on these data, it can be concluded that there is an increase in participants' understanding of religious tolerance and the readiness of participants to become agents of religious tolerance.

Abstract

This research regards a perception of Generation z in Kupang to tolerance religion on Social Media and influencing factors perception of Generation z Kupang City To Tolerance Religious on Social Media. Study this using method study combination (mixed methods). In a study, this researcher collects, analyzes data, integrates findings, and describes a conclusion with combined method study qualitative and quantitative. The average score perception generation z against tolerance of religion on social media seen from indicators of Fairness, empathy and reasonableness is at one category enough, that is by 64.1 %. In line with that, the results of qualitative data show that the average generation z is tolerant of differences that exist, but attitude intolerant sometimes appears influenced by internal factors, namely: Experiencing life with different experiencing life together Becomes a factor of mutual understanding. Understanding to teachings of religion Becomes a factor that shapes positive perceptions _ and is hostile towards people, religious others, and with live values and spirit nationality, generation z tends to own a positive perception _ about tolerance of religion. In using social media, they put forward identity and nationality. Different people's confidence with they responded and greeted by cheerful. Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara majemuk. Kemajemukan ini tentu ada bukan tanpa konflik. Beberapa hasil penelitian mencatat bahwa terjadi masalah-masalah intoleran yang terjadi di Indonesia. Masalah-masalah intoleran tentu menjadi konsumsi masyarakat termasuk genesari milenial dalam memaknai keragaman yang sebenarnya adalah anugrah Tuhan Yang Maha Esa yang patut dirawat. Berdasarkan hal ini topic yang diangkat dalam Pengabdian ini yakni Mengayuh Bersama Generasi Milenial dalam Biduk Toleransi Beragama dari berbagai perspektif. Tujuan kegiatan ini agar meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang toleransi beragama, menciptakan dan membangun komuniakasi antar peserta yang beragam suku maupun agama, menemukan komitmen peserta lewat aksi sebagai agen toleransi beragama dalam lingkungan mereka berada. Metode yang digunakan adalah seminar tentang toleransi beragama dari perspektif Pancasila, Islam, Kristen, Psikologi Sosial dan sharing life dalam diskusi panel. Hasil kegiatan terjadi peningkatan pemahanan peserta tentang toleransi beragama dilihat dari jumlah rata-rata pretest 70 dan posttest 98. Angket evaluasi yang dilakukan untuk mengukur kepuasan mitra terhadap kegiatan ini didapati presentasi 87% sangat setuju dan 13% setuju akan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan. Presentase 90% sangat setuju dan 10 % setuju untuk berpartisipasi jika diadakan lagi kegiatan serupa.

Abstract

With its diversity in ethnicity and religion, some parts of Indonesia tend to be vulnerable to conflicts. This research aims to reveal the practice of religious tolerance and the active role of interfaith women in maintaining religious tolerance through daily dialogue. It emphasizes the significant participation of interfaith women in fostering religious tolerance. This study collected data from interfaith women in the Fatubesi subdistrict area of Kupang City using interviews and observation. The results show that interfaith women in Fatubesi, especially in the Oeba traditional market, live in harmonious and peaceful relationships. They have practiced the spirit of sisterhood and friendship in their daily encounters. Even though they are rarely involved in formal dialogue, women are active in a dialogue of life through daily interactions in informal spaces. They are connected in solidarity through openness, acceptance, respect, and helping one another. Furthermore, interfaith women are active peacekeepers through their activities of sharing food and other basic needs in their neighborhoods and during their religious celebrations. Therefore, the activism of interfaith women in the Fatubesi area is a practice that goes beyond religious tolerance.
