Abstract

Anak prasekolah merupakan anak yang berusia antara 3-6 tahun dan merupakan pada masa keemasan untuk kemampuan otak anak dapat menyerap informasi yang tinggi. Keluarga mengharapkan bahwa mempunyai kecerdasan intelektual yang tinggi dan anak bertumbuh kembang optimal. Kecerdasan intelektual  yang tinggi tanpa ada produktifitas bukan merupakan kecerdasan yang baik. Faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi tumbuh kembang secara optimal yang paling dominan setelah pascanatal adalah genetik, lingkungan dan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan stimulasi keluarga dengan kecerdasan intelektual pada anak prasekolah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi yang diteliti semua keluarga yang mempunyai anak usia prasekolah di TK Dharma Wanita Banaran Kota Kediri, dengan teknik propotional stratified random sampling diperoleh sampel berjumlah 53 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan kuisioner serta untuk kecerdasan intelektual menggunakan Coloured Progressive Matrices. Hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan uji spearman pada α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Setengah responden memiliki stimulasi keluarga dalam kategori cukup, yaitu 26 responden (49,1%). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan stimulasi keluarga (p=0,000), dengan kecerdasan intelektual pada anak prasekolah. Peran keluarga dalam memberikan kebutuhan dasar dalam memberikan kasih sayang, memberikan kebutuhan asuh, dan kebutuhan stimulasi pembelajaran akan berdampak pada kecerdasan intelektual pada anak.Kata Kunci : Stimulasi keluarga, Anak prasekolah, Kecerdasan intelektual

Abstract

Background: Stunting is a linear growth disorder that is not appropriate for age indicating a long-term event and is an accumulative impact of insufficient nutrient consumption, poor health conditions and inadequate care. Objectives: This study aims to analyze or explore in depth the causes of stunting in toddler. Methods: The research was conducted in ​​Gandasuli Community Health Center, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku. This research is a qualitative research with a sampling of researchers using non-probability sampling techniques, or rather researchers using purposive sampling technique. Subjects were determined based on inclusion criteria and obtained as many as 12 toddlers over 24 months. Data analysis in qualitative research is presented based on the data that has been collected and then conclusions are drawn. Results: The results showed that the knowledge about stunting was still lacking, children were not exclusively breastfed causing malnutrition, errors in giving complementary foods which resulted in stunting, low family economic factors, inadequate use of integrated service post, as well as poor environmental sanitation, food taboo culture for pregnant women, breastfeeding women and toddlers themselves so they can reduce their food intake which in turn reduces their nutritional status.

Abstract

Faktor kurangnya pengetahuan ibu hamil menyebabkan kunjungan ibu hamil di kelas ibu hamil mejadi sangat rendah. Hal ini mengakibatkan ibu hamil tidak mendapatkan manfaat dari kegiatan tersebut. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hubungan tingkat hubungan pengetahuan dengan kunjungan kelas ibu hamil. Penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi seluruh Ibu Hamil trimester 3 di Desa Jogomulyan Kecamatan Tirtoyudo Kabupaten Malang, pada bulan Februari 2019. Menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling, besar sampel 25 responden. Pengumpulan data dengan instrumen kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 64% tingkat pengetahuan cukup dan 72% mengikuti kelas ibu hamil. Hasil uji Chi square didapatkan p = 0,000, ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kunjungan kelas ibu hamil. Kunjungan kelas ibu hamil merupakan wujud perilaku ibu hamil yang dalam pelaksanaannya berkaitan erat dengan pengetahuan yang dimiliki. Hal ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat pengetahuan yang dimiliki semakin tinggi pula kunjungan kelas ibu hamil.

Abstract

The Indonesian education system is facing new challenges due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 which has shifted the entire learning system in educational institutions to online learning system. This change in the learning system will have an impact on student's learning motivation. Based on these problems, the purpose of this research is to see how students' motivation in learning English with the online learning system at IIK STRADA Indonesia is. This research uses quantitative with descriptive method. The population of this study were all 1st semester students of various majors, totaling 280 people. Samples were taken from 25 percent of the total population or 70 people. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The results of the study describe learning motivation, namely some students have moderate learning motivation and some students have low learning motivation. The low motivation to learn is caused by several factors, including the unsupported media used, unstable internet connection and lack of internet quota for students.

Abstract

The child is a unique creature, the family expects that the child will grow optimally, the factors that influence the optimal growth and development of the most dominant after pasalkanatal are genetic, environment and family. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between intelligence quotient with educational stimulation in early childhood. The research design used was correlational with cross sectional approach. The population studied by all families who have preschool children in kindergarten Dharma Wanita Banaran Kediri, with propotional stratified random sampling technique obtained sample amounted to 53 respondents. Data collection using questionnaire, the results were analyzed using spearman test at α = 0,05. The results of the study most of respondents assessed the educational stimulation of children aged within the category enough, ie 28 respondents (52.8%). Nearly the average upper quotient intelligence with 30 respondents (55.6%) The results of the analysis (p = 0,000) indicate that there is an association of early childhood educational stimulation with quotient intelligence in preschoolers. Needs intelligence quotient of stimulation is needed for the child's intellectual development process. The role of the family is to provide facilities for children to facilitate children to go to school in educational facilities that have good quality and provide stimulation independently when the child at home

Abstract

Youtube application is a widely used social media platform that has reached its peak popularity nowadays.All people, young and old, are familiar to this. In this pandemic era, the use of this platform can beconsidered as one of the best alternatives for teaching English online due to its familiarity, effectiveness,and attractive features. It also offers various information needed not only for the teachers but for thestudents as well and it can be utilized as a two-way communication for teaching and learning process too.This application also provides authentic learning materials for the learners. Based on this consideration,this paper will review some of the virtues and challenges we can find by employing Youtube applicationfor our emergency remote learning during this Covid 19 outbreak. It is expected that this discussion willbe able to give alternatives for improving our teaching and learning process quality during this difficulttime.

Abstract

The change in learning systems from face-to-face interactions in classrooms to online learning systems during the Covid-19 pandemic is having a profound impact on the learning process. A variety of learning activities should be presented for the continuation of the learning process. These changes lead to different learning needs of students. This study explores student perceptions of using Zoom Meeting for online learning in teaching English speaking skills. The study has been conducted at IIK STRADA Indonesia. Students of the third semester were chosen as the respondents of this study selected by using purposive sampling. The data were obtained from questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire was distributed using Google Form. As a result, the researcher found that students can easily understand some language learning materials by using Zoom meetings. However, in other cases, most of the students were bored with implementing online courses and suffered from lack of motivation to study during the COVID-19 pandemic. In summary, the student expressed positive and negative attitudes towards using Zoom Meeting for online learning in teaching English speaking skills.
