Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan yangsesuai bagi desa wisata Undisan. Wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner dilakukankepada 12 orang stakeholder dan 18 wisatawan, guna mendapatkan data yangmendalam sehingga layak dianalisis. Data dipaparkan secara deskriptif kualitatifdan dianalisis dengan SWOT, untuk mengukur faktor internal (kekuatan dankelemahan) dan faktor eksternal (peluang dan ancaman) dari desa wisata Undisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya alternatif strategi jangka pendek (1-5 tahun) yang meliputi revitalisasi lembaga formal, pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal, kampanye peduli lingkungan, redesain produk dan kerjasama dengan pihak lain untuk membangun kekuatan. Alternatif strategi jangka panjang (6-10 tahun) yang meliputi penetrasi pasar, pengembangan pasar dan produk, penyuluhan akan kelemahan dan ancaman secara berkala dan berkelanjutan, peningkatan mutu lingkungan fisik, dan penetapan batas wilayah desa yang definitif.

Abstract

Bertambahnya jumlah hotel di kawasan pariwisata Nusa Dua Bali menimbulkan persaingan yang ketat di dalam bisnis perhotelan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor lingkungan bisnis internal dan eksternal dalam memilih alternatif strategi pemasaran yang tepat dengan menggunakan metode deskriftif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif. Terdapat 10 faktor yang menjadi kekuatan dan kelemahan yaitu 5 faktor yang menjadi kekuatan terdiri dari lokasi yang strategis, memiliki brand yang kuat, jumlah kamar yang banyak, harga produk kompetitif dan konsep bangunan tradisional Bali asli dan 5 faktor kelemahan yaitu usia bangunan tua, kamar perlu peremajaan, kurang beradaptasi dengan teknologi baru, komunikasi kurang efektif dan kurang memanfaatkan potensi produk. Serta 9 faktor yang menjadi peluang dan ancaman yaitu 5 faktor yang menjadi peluang dari hotel Melia Bali yaitu ekonomi Indonesia stabil, segmen pasar baru yaitu MICE, Pemilihan alternatif strategi pemasaran berdasarkan hasil analisis lingkungan bisnis menggunakan SWOT Matrix dan Ansoff Matrix. Terdapat 3 strategi pemasaran utama yang dihasilkan yaitu menciptakan inovasi dan paket-paket baru berupa produk untuk event-events khusus (wedding, meeting dan incentive).

Abstract

The increasing of hotel in tourism area of Nusa Dua has generated tight emulationlevel in hotel business. Intention of this research to identify and analyse environmental factor of internal and eksternal business for choosing the alternative pursuant strategy precisely by using technique analyse data qualitative. There are 10 factors becoming weakness and strength which is 5 factors becoming strength consist of strategic location, owning strong brand, many amount of room, competitif product price, traditional building concept and original Bali and 5 weakness factors are including old building age, room need rejuvenation, less adapting with new technology, less effective communications and less in exploiting of product potency. There are also 9 factors becoming threat and opportunity that is 5 factors becoming opportunity of Hotel Melia Bali which is including stable Indonesia economics, and new market segment as MICE. . Election of marketing strategy alternative pursuant to result of environmental analysis of business use SWOT Matrix and Ansoff Matrix.There are 3 especials marketing strategy which yielded that creates new packages and innovationin the form of product for special events (wedding, meeting and incentive).

Abstract

The growth of new tour and travel agents in Bali targeting the tourist market from Germany has created intense competition among travel bureaus. This causes a decrease in the number of German tourists who use the services of a travel agency PT. NDBT. The purpose of this study was to analyze the existential struggle that occurred at PT NDBT conducted by German-speaking guides. The research problems are 1) how the hegemony and counter hegemony that occurred in PT. NDBT, the factors causing and the implications for the PT NDBT. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The theory used is the theory of hegemony, social practice theory and the theory of communicative action in an eclectic manner. The results showed that the existential struggle carried out by German guides on the corporate hegemony practice of PT. NDBT against guides as a coordinated party is a counter hegemony. Supporting factors for the German-speaking touristic licensing struggle is the decline in the number of German tourists using PT.NDBT services in Bali. As a result, the implication posed by the existential struggle is the desire to stimulate themselves in carrying out scouting work. In addition, guides must also increase knowledge of the German language and knowledge of the field of guidance. Existential struggle also has implications for the meaning of communication for fellow German tour guides. Keywords: existential struggle, German tour guides, tourists, Germany, travel agency.

Abstract

The management of InterContinental Bali Resort applies two policies, which are organizational justice and employee engagement that expected to be able to improve organizational citizenship behavior in ought to increase employee performance, especially those dealing directly with guests, one of it is F&B Service Department. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational justice and employee engagement on organizational citizenship behavior partial and simultaneous F&B Service Department employees at InterContinental Bali Resort. Determination of samples using saturated sample techniques totaling 78 respondents. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires. This research was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, t-test, F-test and determination coefficient analysis (R2) with the help of SPSS version 22. The results of the analysis showed that (1) organizational justice (X1) had a positive and significant effect partial to organizational citizenship behavior (Y), (2) employee engagement (X2) has a positive and significant effect partially on organizational citizenship behavior (Y), and (3) organizational justice (X1) and employee engagement (X2) positive and significant influence simultaneously on organizational citizenship behavior (Y). The results of the coefficient of determination analysis (R2) show that organizational justice and employee engagement has an effect of 59.7% on organizational citizenship behavior, while the remaining 40.3% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Tumbuhnya biro-biro perjalanan wisata baru di Bali yang menyasar pasar wisata dari Jerman menimbulkan persainganantara biro perjalanan wisata. Hal tersebut menyebabkan menurunnya jumlah wisatawan Jerman yang menggunakan biro perjalanan wisata. Secara otomatis menyebabkan turunnya intensitas pekerjaan yang diberikan oleh biro perjalanan wisata kepada pramuwisata berbahasa Jerman.Terkait dengan persoalan tersebut, implikasi pergulatan eksistensial pramicwisata berbahasa Jerman pada biro perjalanan wisata terjadi. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis permasalahan tentang implikasi pergulatan yang dilakukan oleh pramuwisata berbahasa Jerman. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori hegemoni, teori praktik sosial dan teori tindakan komiinikatif secara eklektik.Implikasi yang ditimbulkan oleh pergulatan tersebut adalah adanya keinginan untuk memacu diri dalam melakukan pekerjaan pemanduan. Selain itu, pramuwisata juga harus menambah pengetahuan bahasa Jerman maupun pengetahuan bidang pemanduan. Pergulatan eksistensialjuga berimplikasi terhadap rnakna komunikasi bagi sesama pramuwisata berbahasa Jerman, wisatawan yang dipandunya, biro perjalanan wisata, serta DPD HPI.

Abstract

The main aim of the study is to analyze the correlation between demographic factors in determining the employee’s retirement confidence in hotel industry especially Padma Resort Legian. While the objectives of the study are to determine the relationship between demographic factors consist of gender, age, education, income and family dependent towards employee’s retirement confidence. The methods of collecting data is through the 98 questionnaires distribution to the pre-retiree employees from Housekeeping, Engineering and Food & Beverage Service and Product Department in Padma Resort Legian.. The techniques of analyzing data that used in this research are Crosstabs and Chi-Square test program. The findings of this research shows that two of demographic factors which are gender and age did not show any positive relationship with the retirement confidence. Otherwise, the three other factors which are income, education and family dependent show strong and positive relationship with the retirement confidence. The study also finds that income is the most important thing in building the retirement confidence of the employees.
