JSSH was published twice a year in March and September, the first time published in March 2017. This study aims to figure out the signs behind the "Let's Eat" animation film regarding food to show love in the Asian community and the symbol of love in the "Let's Eat" animation film. This qualitative study uses Roland Barthes' semiotic theory to analyze the data. The results show that the sentiment of food as a symbol of love in Asian culture is deeply rooted in the historical famine. Food as a symbol transforms from a means to survive to a casual way of showing love. This ideology of love is well-represented in the film, which concludes with five main points of implied meaning.

Covid-19 pandemic as a deadly epidemic that has spread since 2020 has affected various aspects of human life. Various policies to prevent the spread of this epidemic have affected the activities of tourism business. The biggest impact is the decline in the income of businessmen, due to the drastic drop of tourist visits. Tourism businessmen have to find ways to cope and adapt themselves during this pandemic, and this method is called as adaptive strategy. This study aims to find out about businessmen’s strategies in Sidamanik Tea Garden tourist area to survive during the Pandemic. The method used is descriptive research wtih qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that tourism businessmen apply several adaptive strategy, namely active strategy is done by working part-times, and involve the family members to increase the income. The passive strategy is done by implementing a frugal lifestyle, reducing the expenditures. The network strategy is done by lending money from relatives, and utilizing assistance programs by the government.

In the context of urbanization in Indonesia, home for migrants is often associated with a place where they will return after leaving. This idea becomes even clearer on Lebaran Day. At that time, many of those who left their homes will do their biggest effort to come home and meet their loved ones at home. It is not to mention people from Lampung who join a local-based community called Komunitas Anak Lampung Selatan (Community of People from South Lampung) or KALS. These people left their hometown for Jakarta in the spirit of accumulating economic capital. This essay discusses the meaning of home for migrants by using KALS as a study case in the context of urbanization in Indonesia. As the analysis shows, the home for KALS is not unified as it involves different places. Since KALS came to Jakarta to gamble their fate, the successful or unsuccessful effort in economic capital accumulation in Jakarta also plays an important role in the meaning construction of homes for KALS. Those who are satisfied with accumulating economic capital tend to see Jakarta as their current and future home. At the same time, they see Lampung as a home to which they will return on special occasions like Lebaran Day which means it is only temporary. However, those who are not satisfied with accumulating the capital tend to see Lampung as a home where they will return permanently in the future and see Jakarta as merely a temporary home.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh current ratio (CR) dan total asset turnover (TATO) terhadap harga saham perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia periode 2019-2021. Pendekatan penelitian digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan data yang digunakan yakni data sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling untuk menentukan sampel yang jumlahnya sesuai dengan ukuran yang akan dijadikan sumber data sebenarnya, dengan memperhatikan sifat-sifat dan penyebaran populasi agar diperoleh sampel yang benar-benar mewakili populasi dengan sampel sebanyak 36 perusahaan. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda, uji asumsi klasik, uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan maupun parsial variabel current ratio (CR) dan total asset turnover (TATO) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019-2021.

Conjunction Analysis of Gramatical Cohesion on Christine Lindop’s Bridge and Other Love Stories Siti Marfu'ah; Khristianto Khristianto

This study aims to describe the forms of grammatical cohesion conjunctions in a short story book entitled The Bridge and Other Love Stories by Christine Lindop. This study focused on the forms of conjunctions, meanings, and grammatical cohesion functions by using Halliday's theory to analyze the data. The approach used in this study was descriptive qualitative to analyze every word contained in the short story entitled The Bridge and other love stories by Christine Lindop. The results of this study indicate that the forms of grammatical cohesion conjunctions contained in the short story book with that title are Additive, Adversative, Causal, and Temporal conjunctions. The meaning and function of each cohesion are 1) meaningful as a sequential connecting time, 2) shows the cause of something, 3) shows the event that contrasts with the situation, 4) shows a choice. This research can be a reference for academics for further research in the same field with different objects in the future.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan strategi bernalar logis dan melihat sudut pandang lain untuk menyelesaikan masalah Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variable (SPLDV) dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMPN Purworejo yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat sedang. Instrumen penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti, soal tes berpikir tingkat tinggi, pedoman wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan/ verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah siswa mampu menggunakan strategi pemecahan masalah bernalar logis dan melihat sudut pandang lain, serta kedua strategi tersebut terbukti dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan non rutin matematika khususnya pada materi SPLDV.
