Abstract

EFEKTIFITAS PENGUSIR NYAMUK ELEKTRIK DARI EKSTRAK KULIT DURIAN (DuriozibethinusMurr)  By. Siti Mardiyah, Moh.Imam Royaldi Prodi D3 Analis UM Surabaya ABSTRACTAedesaegypti is a type of mosquito that can carry dengue virus causes dengue fever. Efforts to eradicate the Aedesaegypti mosquito as a vector of dengue fever have often done, but the lack of public awareness about environmental hygiene still hamper such efforts. Therefore, the electric mosquito repellent products, which are considered practical to avoid mosquito bites, are widely used. However, the use of such products has the potential to cause environmental pollution and health problems. Durian rind extract is a natural insecticide materials that could become an alternative material as a substitute chemicals of mosquito repellent products.This research is an experimental study that aims to compare the repelling power effectiveness between durian rind extract and electric mosquito repellent in repelling Aedesaegypti mosquito. The population in this study is the Aedesaegypti mosquito breeding obtained from from East Java Provincial Health Office with samples taken as 640 mosquitoes were put in each room with 15 tails.The results showed that there are differences in effectiveness of repelling power between the durian rind extract and electric mosquito repellent in repelling the Aedesaegypti mosquito. This was evidenced by statistical tests using independent t test in which the value Tcount = 12.603 with sign value. 0.000 <0.005, which means H0 is rejected or no difference. The big difference is because the active substance in extracts of different anti-mosquito durian and it also shows that the durian rind extract has expelled under the power of an electric mosquito repellent. So, to have equal power of repelling with the electric mosquito, it needs durian rind extract concentration which is greater than 25%.Keywords: Aedesaegypti, durian rind extract DuriozibethinusMurr

ANALISA KADAR ALKOHOL PADA SUSU FERMENTASI BERDASARKAN LAMA PENYIMPANAN LEMARI ESSiti Mardiyah, S.Si, M.Kes.Sitimardiyahfix2@gmail.com Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya AbstractFermented milk is one of dairy products, obtained by fermentation of milk by certain microbes to produce lactic acid. In general, fermented milk stored at a temperature of 50C cooler cupboard to inhibit acid formation by bacteria is still alive, so as to avoid excessive formation of a sour taste. During storage of fermented milk pH decreased continuously. At a temperature of 100C, the damage began to emerge after 3-4 days of storage, which is a sour, watery, and the accompanying changes in the original tender texture and cause contamination between certain bacteria that cause alcohol. Based on the above formulation of the problem can be taken "Is there any effect of fermented milk storage time in the freezer for alcohol content? ". The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of storage time of fermented milk in the fridge for alcohol content. This research is a type of observational analytic studies because there is no treatment of the researchers aimed to determine the effect of long storage of fermented milk in the fridge for alcohol content. The sampling technique used is random sampling, totaling 5 samples at each storage time. Research variables consisting of the independent variable storage time, and the dependent variable is the alcohol content. The level of alcohol is done in fermented milk after being stored for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and 4 weeks using the method five times Pycnometer with replication. From the results of this study the mean increase in the alcohol content of fermented milk on each storage time is 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks and 4 weeks. Having performed using ANOVA statistical test obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05) can be summed Ha Ho is rejected or accepted, which means there is the influence of storage time of fermented milk in the fridge for alcohol content. Keyword : fermented milk, alchohol level

This type of research is observational analytic study population was cotton candy seller Elementary School District of Tripe Lamongan. The amount of sample is total population of 10 sellers of cotton candy in Elementary School District of Tripe Lamongan. location of sampling conducted in the Elementary School District of Tripe Lamongan. location research conducted at the Research Institute and Consulting Industry (BPKI) Surabaya - East Java. ANALISA KADAR KAFEIN PADA KOPI HITAM YANG DISAJIKANBERDASARKAN LAMA PENYEDUHANNYA Siti Mardiyah, S.Si., M.Kes.Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya Abstract Coffee drinking is a favorite of many that can be enjoyed at home, at the office, at home, eat and shop - food stalls. Black coffee is one of the popular types of coffee community. Coffee consumption can cause addiction. Case is due to the caffeine content of alkaloid compounds xantin. Caffeine content of its size accepted by the body hanging from the means of treatment before drinking coffee. The   longer time  submertion Coffee will make the caffeine content in the drink gets higher.Therefore, the problem formulation in this study is will the old submertion of caffeine in black coffee? The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of long penyeduhan of caffeine in black coffee. This type of research is experimental. The sample in this study is that black coffee is often consumed by people who sold at the Market Prohibition of Sidoarjo. With black coffee sample criteria are branded or not branded. Variable in this study is the independent variable while the dependent variable brewing long the caffeine content.Data collection techniques of caffeine in black coffee served by long submertion by indirect observation using a set of laboratory experiments. Inspection rate this caffeine use spectrophotometry method. And data analysis techniques used ANOVA test to find out the influence of long submertion of caffeine in black coffee with α = 0.05. Once the proceeds of caffeine in black coffee in a statistical analysis shows the value of P = 0.000 (<0.05), the obtained conclusions that received behold Ha long submertion influence on the rate of caffeine in black coffee. Abstract

 abstractSugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is a plant known by the public as a refreshing drink that tastes sweet and the price is quite economical and readily available. Sugarcane contains octacosanol compounds that can lower cholesterol levels in the blood. Excessive cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) a threat that is feared because as one of the causes of coronary heart disease (CHD) and stroke. The purpose of this study was to analyze the levels of cholesterol in mice, to analyze cholesterol levels in mice after the administration of sugar cane juice, to analyze the effect of sugar cane juice on cholesterol levels in mice. This type of research conducted by a group of experimental methods with populations of mice (Mus musculus) were obtained from farms Bojonegoro. The research sample selected by criteria mice aged 2-3 months, weighing between 20-40 grams of the male sex, the amount of sample used two groups of mice, each group consisted of 16 mice. From the results of blood cholesterol levels in mice after the administration of sugar cane juice, it is known that the average cholesterol level in the control group was 148.8750 mg / dl and value - average blood cholesterol treatment group was 118.2500 mg / dl. Statistically analyzed using a paired t test t value -3.799 obtained with significant value. (p) = 0.001 which is less than 0.05 then there is the effect (Ho is rejected) (t = -2.040 table). So we can conclude there is the effect of sugar cane juice on blood cholesterol levels in mice.Key word : Sugarcane, blood cholesterol levels

Salmonella typhii O antigen that endotoxin has led to the emergence of symptoms of fever, so the decreased immune. At the time this condition titer Widal O antigen positive (low - high). When the immune system decreases S.typhii easy entry into the organs of the body including the liver, causing increased ALT levels. Correlational type of research is one way that the data in the form of secondary data taken Bhayangkara Hospital HS Samsoeri Mertojoso Surabaya East Java Police. The population in this study were patients with typhoid fever who examined levels of SGPT (Serum Glutamic Pyruvic transaminase) and Widal titer of 100 samples. The samples selected while the inclusion criteria of patients with typhoid fever, typhoid fever patients were examined Widal, Typhoid Fever Patients Patients who widalnya titer 1/80 and 1/160 O antigen of Salmonella typhii and SGPT levels checked as many as 50 samples. From the results of alanine aminotransferase levels in titer Widal O antigen of Salmonella typhii is known that the average ALT was 55.64 U / l. Statistical analysis with Chi - Square showed no relationship between titer Widal O antigen of Salmonella typhii with ALT levels in patients with typhoid fever, with a significant value of less than 0.05 (5%). Keyword : Salmonella typhii, SGPT, Widal

PERBANDINGAN KADAR OKSIGEN TERLARUT ANTARA AIR PDAM DENGAN AIR SUMUR Mala Hayati, S.TP., M.Kes.Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya AbstractWater is a basic necessity for life. Fulfillment of the city water comes from well water and processed water  PDAM. Water PDAM is safe for consumption is used chlorine as a disinfectant. But sometimes the excessive use of water PDAM that often smells of chlorine. So before using our society, used to be stored in the reservoir with chlorine hope has evaporated. Based on this background research conducted this experiment to determine the chlorine content of the water from the PDAM before and after treatment for 24 hours in water reservoir. In this experimental study, using 16 water samples taken in the area PDAM Bratang Ngagel Rejo Kecamatan  Wonokromo Surabaya. The samples were divided into two groups analyzed chlorine residual levels before and after in the tank for 24 hours using standard methods based ortholuidin read color expressed in units of mg / 1. The result showed that the levels of residual chlorine in PDAM water before water reservoir average was 0.20 mg / 1 and levels of residual chlorine in the tank after 24 hours the average is 0.15 mg / 1. So the conclusion is no significant difference in the independent t test was 4.12538 t value is greater than the table t value of 2.13 with alpha (a) .0,05.Keyword : Chlorine, Disinfectant

ANALISA KADAR NATRIUM BENZOAT PADA SAUS NASI GORENG YANG DIPAKAI PEDAGANG KAKI LIMA DI DAERAH RUNGKUT MADYA SURABAYAMala Hayati, S.TP, M.Kes. Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya ABSTRACTSauce is one of many favorite foods community, as a substance that can be consumed directly or as a food supost prandiallement. To extend its store sauce, sauce is often added preservatives. Used preservative sodium benzoate, where the material is constrained apost prandiallications. Sodium benzoate is used because it can inhibit the growth of bacteria at pH 2.5 to 4.0. Formulation of the problem in this study is what is the level of Sodium Benzoate in the sauce fried rice hawkers sold in the middle Rungkut Surabaya, while the purpose of the study to determine levels of Sodium Benzoate is used.   This study was descriptive and spectrophotometer methods ie, with samples taken 30 sauce taken from some street vendors in Madhya Rungkut Surabaya area. Results of the study found 60% of eligible Permenkes and 40% are not eligible. This shows most of the street vendors using Permenkes qualified sauce.Key word : Natrium benzoat, Sauce

Abstract

 ABSTRACTDysentriae Shigella is a bacterial species of shigella that occurs in tropical countries, these bacteria are pathogenic gut bacteria are commonly known to cause dysentery. Dysentery is an infection that causes sores that cause ulcers limited dicolon characterized by symptoms known as dysentery syndrome. In user of trimatoprim sulfametaksazol can cause or accelerate the onset of megaloblastosis, leocopenia, or trombostopenia. In regular use, this combination appears to show little toxicity, approximately 75% of these adverse effects involving the skin. ‘Pandan wangi’ (pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) is one of the plants that can be used as a natural antibiotic against shigella dysentriae infection because the content of fragrant pandan leaves include flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins and tannins.This type of research is experimental, while the goal is to determine the effect  of ‘pandan wangi’ leaf (pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) juice on shigella dysentriae. Consisting of 7 concentrations and four repetitions. Using dilution method by observing the growth of bacteria shigella dysentriae on ‘pandan wangi’ leaf juice that is characterized by the colonies grown on media Mac Conkey (MC).Data analysis uses Anova with an error or a = 5%. The advanced test uses Tukkey test, Honestly Significant Difference (HSD). After doing the research, the optimal concentration of juice of ‘pandan wangi’ (pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) leaves can inhibit shigella dysentriae is 25% and can kill shigella dysentriae from concentration of 50%. The final conclusion is that there is the effect of ‘pandan wangi’ (pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) leaf juice on shigella dysentriae. Keywords: Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb leaves, shigella dysentriae.

Abstract

 abstractTofu is one of the healthy foods because of the relatively high protein content. In know that stored at room temperature will only last for 1-2 days. Therefore, many sellers know who gives the formalin to preserve know. Whereas the use of formaldehyde is very harmful for health. One of the efforts to secure the preservation know that the provision of 10% lemon juice and salt to 4% who will preserve up to 6 days at room temperature. Just know that the old storage can cause denaturation of proteins which can result in decreased levels of protein out. This study aims to investigate the influence of soaking in lemon juice and salt to the protein content out. The protein content was obtained through laboratory know the Micro-Kjeldahl method. The sample was 8 were divided into 4 groups: control, know by soaking for 1 day, 3 days and 6 days. To determine the effect of soaking the protein content out statistical analysis used ANOVA and continued to LSD. The results of the data analysis ANOVA test showed that there was no effect of soaking time with the lemon juice and salt to the protein content of tofu (p values> 0.05). Average protein content know that soaked for 1 day 13.24%, 12.78% and 3 days 6 days 12.34%. So it can be concluded that aging out with lemon juice and salt has no effect on protein levels out. Therefore preservation know this way is relatively safe and does not reduce the levels of proteins out.Keyword : tofu, lemon, protein level
