Nastiti K., M.Kes. nastitikartikorini@gmail.com Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya AbstractIce cream is a kind of semi-solid food that is made by freezing ice cream flour or a mixture of milk, animal and vegetable fats, sugar, and with or without other foods allowed. Fat can be regarded as the raw material of ice cream. Its function is to give a smooth texture, taste and contribute to a synergistic effect on the extra flavor used. In addition, the use of fat will beautify the apost prandialearance, but at the level of excessive amounts will cause too hard and the results are like sand. Milk fat when consumed in a way and an improper dose (excess consumption), it will give rise to various kinds of diseases. This is because milk fat consists of saturated fats and cholesterol, which can cause a variety of diseases. Contained milk fat content in ice cream has been determined by the government as contained in PERMENKES standat quality ice cream that is 5%. The problems of this research are contained Is fat content in ice cream is in conformity with PERMENKES?. The purpose of this study was to determine fat levels in ice cream based on standard PERMENKES. Descriptive research to determine the fat content in ice cream that is sold in the area Demak. The sample used in this study was the ice cream that is often consumed by people who are sold in stores in the area Demak Surabaya. Criteria ice cream samples are branded or not branded which amounted to 20 samples. Data was collected by laboratory testing fat content in ice cream were examined by the method of extraction, and the data obtained are presented in table form. Techniques of data analysis done by creating conformity percentage of samples based PERMENKES.Based on laboratory tests on 20 samples of ice cream, which is in accordance with the standard sample PERMENKES totaling 9 samples (45%), while that does not meet the standard PERMENKES total of 11 samples (55%). So the ice cream that does not meet the standard PERMENKES more than met the standard of ice cream arrives PERMENKES. Key word : level  fat according to PERMENKES, ice cream,

Abstract

 ABSTRAKPeminum kopi terbanyak hingga saat ini ditempati oleh usia 25-39 tahun. Namun, pengaruh gaya hidup serta maraknya cafe atau restoran yang mengolah kopi menjadi berbagai minuman menarik membuat presentase remaja dan dewasa muda sebagai konsumen kopi semakin meningkat. Pada tahun 2011, 40% dari usia 18-24 tahun mengkonsumsi kopi setiap hari, meningkat dari 31%  pada tahun 2010. Kopi dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah dan mengurangi resiko terkena penyakit lainnya karena adanya chlorogenic acid yang merangsang Glucagon-like-peptida-1(GLP-1). Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan kadar glukosa darah sebelum dan sesudah minum kopi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara eksperimental menggunakan sampel darah kapiler dari mahasiswa Prodi Analis sebanyak 30 orang. Metode: Metode yangdigunakan untuk pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah adalah rapidtest yang dibantu alat glukometer easytouch . Hasil: Hasil rerata kadar glukosa sebelum perlakuan sebesar 94,10 mg/dL ± 8,242 mg/dL  dan  sesudah perlakuan sebesar 86,96 mg/dL ± 4,994 mg/dL. Diskusi : Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan didapatkan nilai P=0.000, sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan kadar glukosa darah puasa sesudah mengkonsumsi kopi, bahwa kopi dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah sebelum dan sesudah minum kopi.Kata Kunci : Kopi, Glukosa darah

PENGARUH KONSENTRASI AIR REBUSAN DAUN SIRSAK (Annona muricata Linn) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN LARVA NYAMUK Aedes aegyptiDiah Ariana, ST, M.Kes Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya AbstractLeaves of the soursop (Annona muricata Linn) Indonesia is known as a medicinal plant that can treat a variety of diseases other than as a cure soursop leaves is also an insecticide-producing plants are bioactive compounds known as acetogenin which are bioactive compounds in high concentrations can be toxic to insects, thus may cause the insects will not eat. At low concentrations of toxic by oral administration stomach and can cause death. Soursop leaves are pesticides from natural elements that can be decided by the Aedes aegypti mosquito generation above background can be taken formulation of the problem Is there any effect of the concentration of soursop leaves boiled water (Annona muricata Linn) on the growth of mosquito larvae of Aedes aegypti? This study aimed to determine the effect of water concentration on the growth of soursop leaf decoction Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae.The design of this study used an experimental design with laboratory testing, soursop leaf decoction obtained by weigh 100 g and dissolved in 100 ml of distilled water generated lau soursop leaves boiled water. The inhibition assay performed on boiled water boiling water concentration 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% and visits by the number of larvae of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes that die in 24 hours after treatment. Statistical analysis using Annova test with significance level 0.05 for determining the presence or absence of the influence of water concentration on the growth of soursop leaf decoction mosquito Aedes aegypti and subsequent Tukey HSD test was done to see the differences in each concentration. The results showed concentrations of 10% to 100% can inhibit the growth of mosquito larvae of Aedes aegypti, so it can be concluded that the soursop leaves can inhibit the growth of mosquito larvae of Aedes aegypti and efficient soursop leaves is used for patients with antibacterial, antifungal, anticonvulsant, and anti-inflammatory.Keyword :  larvae of Aedes aegypti, soursop leaves

PENGARUH KONSENTRASI EKSTRAK CACING TANAH (Lumbricus rubellus)TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BAKTERI Salmonella typhi L.Soedjoto,S.SiProdi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya AbstractEarthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) is one organism that is widely used as a traditional medicine. Earthworms contains very high levels of protein, enzyme, collagenase enzyme, enzyme Fibrionolycin and Prottibinolycin and seyawa class of alkaloids that contain nitrogen atoms that are bakteriostatik.Berdasarkan description above research was conducted by taking issue with the influence of earthworms and this study aims to determine the effect on growth Salmonella typhi. This type of research is experimental with 10 treatments with a large sample from each treatment was 3, which is drawn at random (random) .. The research was conducted at the Center for Research and Industrial consultancy Laboratory (BPKI) Surabaya in June 2012. Bacterial growth was observed by observing turbidity earthworms in each sample and confirmed by cultivation on media MC (Mac Conkey). The results showed that the concentration of 100% earthworms. 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40%, 30% showed no growth of Salmonella typhi. While at a concentration of 20%, 10% showed a growth of Salmonella typhi. Chi-square test results showed that the mean value of p = 0.01 p <(0.05). With the addition of color to the food, the food is not going to be colored to look more attractive and striking colored. There are two types of food coloring are allowed and which are not permitted, especially that are not allowed are dye rodhamin B. Rodhamin B is colored crystal powder greenish, purplish red. In many areas the selling crackers Kenjeran bright red potatoes. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim to know the content of dyes Rodhamin B on potato chips sold in Kenjeran. This research is descriptive, ie to obtain a description of the content Rodhamin B were analyzed from sample examination bright red. Samples were potato chips sold in Kenjeran Surabaya. Total sample of 30 potato chips. Based on the results of prenatal Rodhamin B on potato chips sold dikenjeran Surabaya. Of the 30 samples obtained potato chips containing Rodhamin B 33%, while that does not contain Rodhamin B 67%, the percentage of the results obtained more crackers that do not use Rodhamin B, but still there are 33% who use Rodhamin B should not be allowed because of the dye Rodhamin B dyes are prohibited and may cause health problems of our bodies. Abstract

 ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bioaktifitas ekstrak bunga sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis l.) terhadap  kadar kolesterol darah mencit (Mus musculus) yang mengalami hiperkolesterolemia dengan diet tinggi lemak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental murni, dengan menggunakan rancangan randomized post-test only control group design. Bunga sepatu mengandung pigmen antosianin yang termasuk golongan flavonoid yang berperan sebagai antioksidan. Sebanyak dua puluh delapan mencit dibagi menjadi empat kelompok (K1, K2, K3 dan K4). Kelompok K1 adalah kelompok yang mendapat perlakukan pakan tinggi lemak dan aquadest setelah aklimatasi. Kelompok K2, K3, dan K4 adalah kelompok  terapi yang mendapat perlakukan pakan tinggi lemak, ekstrak bunga septum sebanyak 1 ml dan aquadest setelah aklimatasi. Pemberian pakan tinggi lemak berlangsung selama 28 hari. Selama penelitian berlangsung penimbangan berat badan tikus dilakukan sebanyak lima kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian 1 ml ekstrak bunga sepatu selama dua puluh delapan hari dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol mencit dimana nilai p<0.05. Kata kunci: ekstrak bunga sepatu, kadar kolesterol, diet tinggi lemak

PERBEDAAN HASIL PEMERIKSAAN KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH 2 JAM POST PRANDIAL DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN GLUKOMETER DAN ANALYZER PADA PENDERITA DIABETES MELITUS Dr. Endriana. Sp. PK.Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya ABSTRACT Examination of blood glucose levels 2 hours post prandial is required to diagnose diabetes mellitus. Currently many clinical laboratories, hospitals and clinics are still modest usually use tool for the examination of blood glucose levels is by glucometer that emit relatively fast results. In contrast to the large hospital and clinical laboratories that have been developed have used the analyzer tool as an advanced tool that can check more parameters clinical examination which will get accurate results. To the authors want to prove whether there are differences in the results of blood glucose levels 2 hours post prandial using glucometer and analyzer. This research is experimental. The population in this study were patients with diabetes mellitus in hospital Throughout Siti Khadijah. The samples used were serum and whole blood from the blood vena. Variabel free is the way 2-hour blood glucose tests using a glucometer and analyzer post prandial and the dependent variable is the blood glucose levels 2 hours post prandial. While the operational definition, examination of blood glucose 2 hours post prandial by using 2 kinds of tools, namely glucometer and analyzer. Methods of data collection of 20 samples taken from patients with DM in Hospital Khodijah Throughout Siti. To know the results used paired t test. The results showed that there were significant differences between the glucometer and glucose analyzer examination 2 hours post prandial based on the results of paired t test with sig value greater than 0.05 and the average levels of the glucometer 207.65 mg / dl and analyzer 193.85 mg / dl. Abstract

 ABSTRACTProtein is the most important nutrients in the body, which serves as a new network-forming and maintaining or repairing worn tissue. Protein cucumbers reach 82% of his body. However, the protein can undergo denaturation when heated. Formulation of the research problem is whether there was an effect on long boiling sea cucumbers (Holothuria argus) the protein content. The research objective was to determine whether there is a long effect on the boiling sea cucumbers (Holothuria argus) the protein content.This type of research is experimental. The study population was all kinds of sea cucumbers are caught by fishermen in Kel.Sukolilo Kec.Bulak Surabaya. The research sample is sea cucumber Holothuria argus species caught by fishermen in Kel.Sukolilo Kec.Bulak Surabaya. Research using the 5 treatments with 5 repetitions. Criteria longer boiling is P1 (0 min / control), P2 (15 min), P3 (30 minutes), P4 (45 minutes), and P5 (60 minutes).Data examined protein levels by means of laboratory tests. Based on the laboratory results obtained average amount of 16.948% protein content in boiling 0 minutes, 13.068% in 15 minutes, 11.986% at 30 minutes, 10.652% at 45 minutes, and 8.732% in boiling water 60 minutes.Test results are then tested the statistical ANOVA showed significant values where 0.000 <0.05 (α). It can be concluded that there is a long effect on the boiling sea cucumbers (Holothuria argus) the protein content.Keywords: Sea Cucumber & Protein Levels

PENGARUH LAMA PENYEDUHAN TERHADAP KADAR TANIN PADA TEH CELUP Mala Hayati, STP, MKesProdi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM SurabayaAbstract Tea is the most widely consumed beverages by all levels of society because in addition to economical, tea is also thought to provide health benefits. Teabag tea is one favored by todays society because of easy and practical. One of the compounds in tea play a role in the health of the body is as an antioxidant tannins. The size of the tannin content received by the body depends on the way of processing tea before drinking. The longer the brewing time for tea bags will make the content of tannins in higher beverage.So that the problem statements in research is whether there is a long brewing tea influence on levels of tannins? The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of long brewing on levels of tannins in tea bags. This type of research is experimental. The sample in this study is a tea bag that is often consumed by people who sold in Superindo Mulyosari area. The samples used in this study were 30 tea bags the size of 2 grams divided into 6 treatments each - each consisting of 4 repetitions. Variable in this study is the independent variable while the dependent variable brewing long that tannin levelsFrom the results of tannin levels based brewing long known that the average - average levels of tannins with brewing time 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 6 minutes, 8 minutes, 10 minutes and 12 minutes respectively were 0.0184%, 0.0398%, 0.0546%, 0.0936%, 0.1568% and 0.1578%. ANOVA test results showed the influence of the old brewing on levels of tannin in tea bags with a significant value of less than 0.05 or 5%. Keyword : tea, tanin level, long brewing

PENGARUH PEMBERIAN AIR REBUSAN DAUN UBI JALAR (Ipomea batatas) TERHADAP PENINGKATAN JUMLAH TROMBOSIT MENCIT (Mus musculus)Rahma Widyastuti, S.Si, M.KesAkademi Analis Kesehatan UNMUH SurabayaabstractThe leaves of sweet potato contains a very high nutritional value, so it can be used as a vegetable and as a herbal remedy. Sweet potato leaves are often found in various regions in Indonesia. This vegetable contains polyphenols that act as antioxidants that fight disease into the body. . In the leaves of sweet potato 100g contains 117 mg of calcium, 1.8 mg iron, 3.5 mg carotene, 7.2 mg vitamin C, 1.6 mg vitamin E and 0.5 mg of vitamin K, B vitamins, beta-carotene, as well as protein. Formulation of the problem of this study was to determine whether there are effects of sweet potato leaves boiled water to increase platelet counts in mice. The purpose of this study was to determine the number of platelets which water is boiled sweet potato leaves and boiled water without being sweet potato leaves in mice. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Experimental Medicine Faculty Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya and the sample examined in the Hematology Laboratory at the Center for Health Laboratory Surabaya. The number of samples from this study there were 32 mice, 16 mice as a control group and 16 mice as the treatment group. From the results of the levels of the number of platelets in the blood samples of mice known to the average levels of platelet counts after being given water boiled sweet potato leaves as much as 210.5 / mm3 of blood and platelet count levels of mice that were not given water boiled sweet potato leaves as much as 129.7 / mm3 of blood. Statistical analyzes to test differences in the levels of T showed a platelet count between which water is boiled sweet potato leaves and boiled water without being sweet potato leaves, with a value significantly less than 0.05 (5%). Key word : leaves of sweet potato, the levels of the number of platelets in the blood samples
