Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the comprehension of the “Pemerintahan Desa dan Kecamatan” using learning methods Concept Mapping fourth grade students of State Elementary School Genengsari 1. This research uses class action research that is held in two cycle. The data was gained from observation result, interview and test. The research result show, Concept Mapping method can increase comprehension of concept Civic Education. It looks of enhancement comprehension of student Civic Education concept that has reached KKM 70. At the first cycle, there is an improvement that is from pre-action around 19% or 5 students become 58% or 15 students at the end of first cycle. At the second cycle also has improvement that is from 58% or 15 students at the first cycle become 96,2% or 25 students at the end of second cycle. Therefore could be said that this class action research is successful to increase the comprehension of Civic Education concept fourth grade students of State Elementary School Genengsari 1 because has meet the successfully criteria that specified with shown 80% of the number of students have reached Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM).

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned attempt to create a learning atmosphere and a learning process in order that learners actively develop their potentials to possess spiritual and religious power, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble characters, and skills needed by themselves, the society, nation, and country. Civic Education at the elementary school requires learning through a variety of approaches emphasizing the habituation of the students by the teachers in inculcating values and moral. Therefore, the teachers are expected to prioritize the among (guiding) system and apply the values by providing examples (ing ngarso sung tulodo), developing will (ing madyo mangun karso), and enhancing the students’ creativity in the learning process (tut wuri handayani). In this way, the students understand Civic Education as value and moral education which finally can produce students with good morals and characters for the development of the nation and country.

Abstract

This study aimed to know (1) correlation between learning activeness with learning achievement of social science subject, (2) the correlation between parents’ learning guidance with learning achievement of social subject, (3) the correlation between learning activeness and parents’ learning guidance with learning achievement of social science subject. The type of this study was a quantitative research. The data collecting techniques used questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis techniques used descriptive technique and hypothesis testing used Product Moment and double regression with two predictors that were started by an independence test, a normality test, and a linearity test. This study shows that the correlation coefficient of each independent variable had a positive correlation with dependent variable. The score of = 0.26557 > = 0.1912, it means that learning activeness had a positive and significant correlation with learning achievement of social science subject. The score of = 0.30402 > = 0.1912, it means that parents’ learning guidance had a positive and significant correlation with learning achievement of social science subject. The study shows that there is a positive and significant correlation between learning activeness and parents’ learning guidance with learning achievement of social science subject (Fregresi = 8.66415 > Ftabel=3.0884). It can be concluded that learning activeness and parents’ learning guidance have a correlation with learning achievement of social science subject among the fifth grade students of state elementary schools of Sultan Agung in Karanganyar Purbalingga. The score of R2 is 0.14521, it means that learning activeness and parents’ learning guidance gives contribution 14.521% toward learning achievement of social science subject, while 85.479% is explained by other factors that are not analyzed in regression model.

Abstract

Curriculum 2013 is a form of change in education. One of the implementations through integrative thematic learning with scientific approach. Character value of student is a response learners in the moral situation that is manifested in real action through good behavior, honest, responsible, and respectful of others, and other noble character. Device designed to foster learning character values of student. This study aims to (1) develop an integrated thematic learning tools that encourage elementary character values and (2) To obtain the effectiveness of integrative thematic learning with scientific approach to grow the value of character and student learning outcomes. Procedure development using Borgand Gall models include (1) PreliminaryStudy(2) Development (3) Testing. Learning the test subjects in this study were fourth grade students SD Rejosari 3 Semarang. Data collection instrument in this studyachievement test instruments and sheet validation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis of the results of the assessment validator to learning and research instruments, as well as quantitative analysis of observations and comparisons test learners. Validator assessment results obtained average value Syllabus 4.10, RPP 4.09, and LKS 4.15. The results of the calculation, the average value of the study of students at 85. 68% of students have a very good character value and 2% of students have a good character value. Elementaryscience teaching tools through outdoor learning is one alternative that can be used in the elementary school teacher presents the material science to grow the value of character of students.

Abstract

The aim of this study is (1) to determine the students self efficacies with Special Needs in inclusive schools; (2) to find out what are the factors that must be considered in improving self-confidence (Self Efficacy) in special needs students in inclusive school. This research using qualitative descriptive analysis. The data collected by techniques such as triangulation. Triangulation means of data collection techniques are combining of various data collection techniques and sources of existing data that includes observation, interviews, and documentation. While the steps of data analysis in this study include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research is Self-confidence (self-efficacy) of students with special needs in SD Negeri Karanganyar quite good. Only 4 aspects of the 10 aspects of self-confidence (self-efficacy) of students with special needs that need to be improved. While the six other aspects are good. All six aspects of self-confidence of students with special needs that need to be maintained is the aspect of the perception of students with special needs will be its ability, readiness in learning, attitudes or reactions to novelty, diligent efforts in completing the task, the ability to produce work (productivity), and the ability to self-regulate. While these four aspects are still lacking is knowledge of learning, mastery of skills in certain competencies, creative ability to solve problems (inguenity), and the ability to face the threat (threat). Factors to consider in improving self-confidence (self-efficacy) students with disabilities in inclusive schools is the availability of space assessment, special assistant teacher availability, systems management class inclusion, and skills of classroom teachers to guide and direct students with special needs in an effort to optimize their potential.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the process of learning Cooperative type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) in order to increase interest and learning mathematics achievement in grade IV Elementary School 1 Temuwangi Pedan Klaten. This study uses a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Data obtained from the results of observations, questionnaires and tests. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) may increase the interest and learning achievement at the fourth grade students of State Elementary School 1 Temuwangi Pedan Klaten. This is evidenced by the average percentage of student interest in the pre-action based observation data obtained by 24,38% increased to 65% in the first cycle and increased again to 83,75% in the second cycle. Also based on a questionnaire obtained an interest in the first cycle an average of 84,17%. Then on the second cycle increased to 88,33%. Student achievement also increased with an average value of 54,5 pratindakan increased to 69,69 in the first cycle and then increased to 74,438 in the second cycle. In conclusion Cooperative models of type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) may increase the interest and learning achievement at the fourth grade students of State Elementary School 1 Temuwangi Pedan Klaten.

Abstract

Classroom action research (PTK) aims to describe improvement skill of recounting observation result through giving reward and punishment method at fifth grade students of SD Negeri Plakaran, Bantul. PTK is using a model and MC Taggart Kemmis cycle model. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection analysis. The experiment was conducted in the first semester with the subject of the study consists of 24 students. Data collection method in this research use tests, observation and documentation. Descriptive data analysis techniques are used to analyze quantitative and qualitative descriptive test results are used to analyze the results of observation. Results of research conducted shows that the average value of the results of a test of skill telling observations could increase after the action. In pratindakan, the average value obtained 64.16 students with enough category increased to 72.39 with enough categories in cycle I. In the second cycle increased to 81.64 with both categories. The percentage of minimum completeness criteria (KKM) obtained the students also increased, in preaction percentage reached 25%, in the first cycle increased by 54.17% and in the second cycle increased by 83.33%. It shows that the giving reward and punishment method have a positive effect, can improve the recounting skill observation result through giving reward and punishment method at fifth grade students of SD Negeri Plakaran, Bantul academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

Habituation program is a process of formation of attitudes and behaviors that are relatively residential and automatically through the learning process the repeated-over and implemented in out of hour lesson. Habituation is part of education manners with characteristics-feature residential relative, does not require functions thinking enough high, As findings learning experience, Shown in repeated in response to the same stimulus. The research goal is to describe the habituation program that done Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Insan Utama hearts educate and form the character of students. SD habituation program in IT personnel consists differences Bantul Main Event Six that routine, spontaneous activity, exemplary activities, programmatic activities, activities of nationalism and outbound learning and training activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research in a descriptive manner is to know the learning achievement’s preference of fourth grade students at negeri 1 Joton elementary school in the academic year 2014/2015 which the learning uses audiovisual media and the learning don’t audiovisual media. According to comparative, to know the differences of science learning achievement students of four grade in odd semester at negeri 1 Joton elementary school in the academic year 2014/2015 between taught with audiovisual media and without audiovisual media. The results showed that the tendency of science learning achievement of fourth grade students of at negeri 1 Joton elementary school in the academic year 2014/2015 a which the learning uses audiovisual media, including very high category on the average of 23.500 and learning without the use of audiovisual media in the high category with a average of 18,500. In the t-test obtained thitung = 3.999 and p = 0.001, for p <0.01 then the comparability of results of the t-test is concluded that there are very significant differences in learning achievement IPA fourth grade students of at negeri 1 Joton elementary school between learning using media audiovisual and without the use of audiovisual media.

Abstract

Politeness language or commonly called the speech level in the society until now still held fast by the user community.
