Abstract

Course scheduling problem belongs to the category of NP - hard (Non - deterministic polynomial - time complex). The complexity of solving course scheduling problems give an indication to the limits of the constraintsto the problem. This research focusses on the development of applicable course scheduling program at University of Atma Jaya Makassar. The problem with the previous scheduling program can not be implemented to prodcecourse schedule because there are some additional factors that affect the scheduling process at the University of Atma Jaya Makassar. The development was done by adjusting the scheduling process currently used to program scheduling course. The end result of this research is a scheduling program course at the University of Atma Jaya Makassar to overcome certain problems lecture schedule and can distribute the load of the course each semester in one week.

Abstract

The final project or undergraduate thesis is scientific papers that is a contribution to the development of science and is one of the requirements that must be met to obtain a Bachelor of arts degree (S-1) so that the content and writing needs to be arranged with certain procedures, including the use of scientific language and raw. Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Atma Jaya Makassar (FTI UAJM) has developed a guideline used as a reference for students to compose final project. But in practice, students who compose final project often have a variety of constraints in terms of both format writing, grammar and in outpour reporting results. This research uses a structured methodology while data collection was conducted using interviews with students and lecturers who become mentors and literature study conducted on Guidelines final project of FTI UAJM. The results of the implementation of this application minimizes the error rate of students in doing the final project.

Abstract

Information services for stakeholders in a hospital need to be in good governance. The rapid development of IT has changed the ordinance of people in thinking, bearing, behaving and acting. Advances in technology that are growing exponentially can potentially result in a number of changes to the governance situation in a hospital environment. The research focuses on the modeling of information services function governance in an effort to create competitiveness to help improve the value of profitability and accountability. Based on analysis of the use of information technology, a description was obtained in blueprint draft about the addition of the functional services based on Customer Relationship Management. The method used is descriptive analysis and structured approach which are parts of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Stages include survey and requirement analysis, as well as the design of model systems about business process based on a database system. The result is a research information services governance model.

Abstract

In this research, the image retrieval system is developed to search for images in the collection of images found on the database based on input (query) in the form of sample images provided by the user. The image is represented as a set of region segmentation results. Users of the system decides the object to be searched on the image and label an example of the region to train the system through a graphical interface. For the image retrieval process that contains a specific object, the user opens the image and choose the region containing the object on the system, then the system will rank all the regions in the collection are indexed query class to the collection in the database in the Euclidean distance (L2) of the region in user query and displays the results of the corresponding images from the collection on the database, which is the image that has the highest similarity.

Abstract

This research aims to develop software applications that can perform data communication from a sensor electrical quantities to the Master Terminal Unit as a server with Modbus TCP protocol. Data communication architecture in real time from the sensor to the MTU so that the user can monitor the amount of electricity in a building at any time. Software applications that are built using tools LabView. The results of data acquisition can be stored in computer memory that will be used as a reference in further analysis.
