Scientific Journal of Industrial Engineering and Information (Tekinfo) is a journal managed by Study Programme of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Setia Budi. Tekinfo published every six months, in May and November in each year. Our published manuscript covers disciplines of Industrial Engineering and Information Technology. We are open to readers and researchers to contribute submit the articles. It is our hope that research published at Tekinfo provide a meaningful contribution to the development of science and technology. Our thanks to all the researchers who participated also to the readers of the Tekinfo journal. Each article published in Jurnal Tekinfo is Open Access. Abstract

Kurangnya kualitas pelayanan menjadi salah satu kendala terhadap tingkat kepuasan pelanggan. Berdasarkan kuesioner pendahuluan yang disebarkan kepada beberapa responden dan wawancara dengan karyawan Sodaqo Mart Kasemen, terdapat beberapa pelayanan yang telah diberikan dengan baik, namun belum sepenuhnya layanan yang ada di Sodaqo Mart Kasemen ditanggapi dengan baik oleh konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pelanggan yang menggunakan jasa pelayanan minimarket Sodaqo Mart Kasemen. Pengukuran kualitas pelayanan dilakukan dengan metode Servqual, Importance Performance Analysis, dan Customer Satissfaction Index (CSI). Kualitas pelayanan menggunakan lima dimensi yang terdapat dalam Servqual yaitu tangibles (bukti fisik), reliability (keandalan), responsiveness (daya tanggap), assurance (jaminan), emphaty (empati). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai gap dari beberapa atribut yang ada dalam dimensi memiliki nilai negatif. Yang artinya beberapa kualitas pelayanan yang didapatkan belum sesuai dengan yang diharapkan oleh pelanggan Sodaqo Mart Kasemen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan konsumen secara menyeluruh berdasarkan nilai CSI sebesar 62,86% dan terletak direntang nilai 61% - 80% yang menunjukkan bahwa indeks kepuasan pengunjung secara umum masuk dalam kriteria “Puas”. Kata Kunci : servqual, tangibles, reliability, importance performance analysis (IPA), customer satisfaction index (CSI).

Abstract

Hartono Istana Teknologi is a company work on electronics manufacture industry, known as “POLYTRON”. One of the products from this company is SWF PMA 9502 speaker which is popular on market. According to the actual output data of SWF PMA 9502 speaker box assembly from 1 August 2019 until 12 September 2019, it has an average production 105 units/hour, where the production target is 120 units/hour. Not achieving the production target of this company caused by inbalance assembly line, so that happens bottleneck. For this reason improvement needs to be done using Ranked Positional Weight (RPW) method. The method is used as an approach to assist companies in knowing how effective assembly lines. Based on the RPW method, the assembly time of the SWF PMA 9502 speaker box is 396.31 seconds, which initially was 413.58 seconds. The application this method can also reduce the value of balance delay about 4.59%.

Abstract

Industry actors are more competitive in the sophisticated industrial world. They must be able to manage their management system properly, thus it would be able to compete with other industries in the competitive world. Problems that occur in the home industry UD. Prasetya Rangga is a mismatch between the workload and the number of workers that resulting inefficiency of work as well as the increase of workload. This study aims to measure normal time as a reference for calculating workload as a basis for calculating the amount of worker while creating a production flow. Method of this study used FTE (Full Time Equivalent) to evaluate workforce requirements. The results of this study revealed that the workload received at the printing and drafting department was 35% while the drafting department was 146%, and the workload at the packing department was 39%. Based on the calculation of the FTE method, the optimal workforce requirements at UD. Prasetya Rangga of the production department, the court, and the printing number of proposed workers was 1 person whereas the actual number is 2 people. Then, there were 2 people that were proposed in the drafting department while the actual number was 1 person and there was 1 person that were proposed in the packing department while the actual number was 2 people.

Abstract

The work requirements of the contact center operator in PT. XYZ Samarinda to always be friendly to customers in any circumstances and have to focus on work is likely to cause mental workload. In addition, the contact center operator must work monotonously by sitting in front of the computer within 8 hours can cause physical workload. Based on these problems, a study was conducted on the analysis of physical and mental workload on the contact center operators so that recommendations could be given to improve productivity and comfort while working. Measurement of physical workload is done using the %CVL measurement method at work. While the measurement of mental workload was carried out using the NASA-TLX method by distributing questionnaires to 9 contact center operators for 10 days. The results showed that the average physical workload of contact center operators was 13.5%. These results indicate that the physical workload of contact center operators is included in the low category, which means there is no significant burden. While the average mental workload of contact center operators is 65. Based on these results, the mental workload value of contact center operators is in the moderate category. Recommendations for improvements that can be given are doing the right way to sit, making improvements to the layout of the air conditioner so that the work environment becomes comfortable and using an ergonomic work chair. In addition it is necessary to build a good relationship that is by understanding the communication style between workers so that misunderstandings cannot be occur, conduct small celebrations, recreation, and hold ESQ Training to balance emotions and intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this article publication is to present a prototype of selection belt conveyor design. Requirement specification which is the basis of design is a conveyor equipped with an object height detection device and a selection based on object height. This research was carried out with the sketch design stages using SketchUp software, planning the wiring scheme with the help of the Fritzing software, designing the Arduino microcontroller program code, assembling the conveyor belt and functional testing. The results of trials conducted with three repetitions showed that the prototype was operational as expected specification specifications. The prototype is able to detect objects moving through the ultrasonic sensor, then the servo motor's hand is able to make selections of objects whose height corresponds. Three output basket boxes contain three objects of the same selection.

Abstract

Guwatirta Sejahtera is one of the companies engaged in the bottled drinking water industry. Problems that occur at PT. Guwatirta Sejahtera is the absence of routine maintenance on the machine so that damage, especially on automatic bottle filling machines, often occurs. This study applies a total productive maintenance method to determine the level of damage and identify the source of the problem as a basis for making recommendations for improvement in reducing the level of damage that often occurs in automatic bottle filling machines. The stage of the study begins by determining the engine efficiency and six big losses using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness parameter (OEE). Then proceed with identifying the source of the problem using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. Recommendations for improvement include making: a daily inspection checklist, small working groups, Standard Operating Procedures for operating the machine and routine maintenance schedules. Based on the estimated calculation if the recommendation for improvement is applied, the value of the original engine efficiency of 84.26% increased to 98.97% and the initial maintenance costs of Rp.81,232,369.48 decreased to Rp.75,355,764.39 per year
