Abstract

Karawitan music is part of the wealth of art and culture of Indonesia. Karawitan art using Javanese gamelan instruments was born hundreds of years ago, and until now still sustainable and growing in society. Along with the development of musical music, there are several factors that make gamelan performances of Java less able to bring the soul (soul) musicality. This is because of the use of show space. Javanese people are generally aware that, the presentation of gamelan will be better sounded when presented in the pendhapa. Nevertheless some performance auditoriums can be used to present karawitan music using Javanese gamelan, taking into account the same acoustic system as the pendhapa acoustic system.

Abstract

Five Mountains Festival is the party of the people who regularly held one year, is a representation of local culture. Prepare all kinds of both performance and visual arts which were the work of the villagers around. The potential is there in five mountain communities are quite large and intertwined emotional bond between the artists and the public. Artists vying to display the distinctive traditions of each village by displaying characteristic and new creativity in the grand event.

Abstract

Materi SBK di kelas V SDN Bojong Salaman 02 Semarang belum disampaikan secara optimal, salah satunya materi membuat batik jumput. Sarana prasarana yang tidak tersedia dan pengetahuan guru yang terbatas menjadi alasan materi belum tersampaikan sepenuhnya. Masalah muncul ketika ada hambatan dalam mengerjakan tugas, semangat siswa berkurang sehingga tugas tidak terselesaikan dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V SDN Bojong Salaman 02 Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji N-gain dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan data kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen berdistribusi normal dan homogen karena nilai signifikansi > 0,05. Rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa kelas kontrol sebesar 64,9 % dan rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 70,4 % Hasil uji gain diketahui indeks gain kelas kontrol sebesar 0,388 dengan kategori sedang, indeks gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,397 dengan kategori sedang. Harga t hitung berada diantara – 2,0058 dan 2,0058 yaitu sebesar 0,1367 dengan dk = 53, sehinga Ho diterima yang berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kelas eksperimen menggunakan model direct instruction. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu  model direct instruction memberikan pengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi membuat batik jumput pembelajaran SBK.

Abstract

Wayang Krucil is a performing art that develops in East Java province. This puppet tells about the journey of Raden Panji Asmorobangun, Babad Majapahit and the story of Menak chronicle. Krucil puppet stories outside the Mahabharata or Ramayana epics with Hinduism theme. The phenomenon that places the ideology of wayang krucil as a representation of resistance to Hindu cultural products. The existence of wayang krucil as a representation of Hindu religion in perkembangnnya shifted into a representation of Javanese Islamic art movement or abangan Islam. The wayang krucil product as a representation of Javanese Islamic art can be seen from the use of a syncretic musical instrument with the musical instrument in performing arts of Hindu religion. The use of metal instruments is the character of abangan Islamic art. Cultural artistic art that developed in East Java represent representation of abangan culture product culture.

Abstract

Dolalak is a type of folk performance art popular in the Purworejo Regency, Central Java Province. Its existence is often associated with another folk performance art called Angguk. Both forms of performance arts influence each other. Based on a study on a book written in 1938 by Th. Pigeaud with title on Javaanse Volksvertoningen (Javanese Folk Performance Arts), the name Angguk had been recorded at that time while Dolalak had not. Purworejo’s Dolalak was initially popularized by three santris (religious students) named Rejotaruno, Duliyat, and Ronodimejo. One of the popular elements of Dolalak performance is tembang. These tembangs are a form of sung folk poetry. It takes form in the oral language, using the Javanese language and containing elements. Up to 2010, found 210 Dolalak successful song lyric documented in writing. Besides poetry, the other elements of the song is a song. Dolalak song has a number of variations of the songs are quite unique and interesting when sang his poems. Discussion of the above problems, used an umbrella approach to Performance Studies (Art Studies appearance), was the study of the use of the song in the show Dolalak used models of Jacques Derrida's theory of deconstruction. Special analysis of linguistic elements used Dolalak song lyric theory proposed formula Albert B. Lord. Analysis begins with the deconstruction reveal pre-existing construction, namely the assertion that Dolalak the nuances of Islamic arts, especially seen from the use tembangnya. Starting from the existing construction, it found kontrakdisi of actual reality. Such contradictions give rise to ideas or a new offer in the way of understanding of Dolalak seen from the song and use. This research has resulted in findings that means a new understanding of Dolalak as folk performances seen from the use of poetry tembangnya, namely that Dolalak an art form that is simple, straightforward, uncomplicated, irregular, choose words that are popular, easily understood, and choose the theme of daily life. Song lyrics Dolalak more concerned with sound rather than sense or meaning. This condition reflects populist Dolalak as performance art.

Abstract

The study aims at developing graphic print art learning module using carbon paper media to grade IX at SMP/MTs in SMPN 22 in Makassar as the site of the research which meet valid criteria to be applied in graphic arts and modification technique learning module using carbon paper media to grade IX at SMP/MTs in SMPN 22 in makassar consisted of teacher’s manual module and student’s manual module and the product obtained would be stated as valid. The model used in this research and development reffered to 4-D Thiagarajan’s model, which consisted of four stages and simplified to two stages, namely defining stages and design stages. The development stage was merely partly. The development  of graphic print art learning module using carbon paper media to grade IX at SMP/MTs in SMPN 22 Makassar was validated by one graphic expert and two material experts. The instrument used to collect the data was questionnaire given to the assesors for graphic and material. Data were analyzed by employing descriptive qualitative data analysis. The data result of learning module were counted beforehand quantitatively; then, it was equivalent to qualitative data. The result of the study reveal that in general the graphic print art learning module using carbon paper media to grade IX at SMP/MTs in SMPN 22 in Makassar which was developed had met vilid criteria; this, it is feasible to be continued in trial test to measure the practicality and effectiveness of the learning module.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) develop teaching material subjects Visual Arts archipelago study to assess the ability to understand, appreciate, and analyze student of aspects of the historical background, concepts, and works of art in the archipelago that includes all the works of art that exist throughout Indonesia, 2) assess the feasibility of teaching material Study subjects archipelago Arts Education Master of Fine Arts Graduate Program, State University of Makassar valid, practical, and effective. This study refers to the development of procedures developed by Borg & Gall consisting of ten steps systematically arranged, with the explanation that is easy to understand, and be able to direct the developer from the beginning to the end of the study. In the research development of teaching materials is only up to nine steps, activities of dissemination or distribution of products is not done because of limited funds and time researchers.Components of the learning package that was developed in this research is the textbook, media presentations, and tests appreciation. Stages in the research and development of instructional package consists of two phases: a preliminary study phase and the development phase, while the implementation phase of testing and evaluation phase will be conducted in the second year of the study. In this study, the instrument was developed questionnaires, observation sheets, and tests appreciation. Questionnaire consisted of a questionnaire developed for the validator (matter experts and media specialists), a questionnaire for faculty, and questionnaires for students. Questionnaire for the validator is used to validate the learning package, and obtaining feedback or suggestions to revise the package developed. Questionnaire for lecturers used to determine the response of lecturers to learning package that was developed, and advice necessary to revise the package. Similarly, the questionnaire for the students is used to determine the response and suggestions of students towards learning package is developed

Abstract

The study aims at discovering (1) the result of Fine Arts teachers’ knowledge at senior high schools in Pattallassang subdistrict of Takalar district which referred to Permendikbud No.23/2016 on Standard of Education Assessment and Assessment Guidance of Esthetics Subject, (2) the result of the implementation of learning assessment included the planning, implementation, utilization, and assessment report, and (3) the result of the implementation of authentic assessment (psychomotor aspect) in Two Dimensional Fine Arts learning in grade XII at senior high schools in Pattallassang subdistrict of Takalar district. The type of this study was evaluation research with descriptive qualitative approach. The evaluation model used was Stake Countenance Model. The study was conducted from the 5th February to 5th March, 2018 at senior high school in Pattallassang subdistrict of Takalar district. The subjects of the study were teachers of Fine Arts. Data were collected by employing questionnaire, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study reveal that (1) there are still teachers of Fine Arts subject art senior high schools in Pattallassang subdistrict of Takalar district who did not acknowledge and understand Permendikbud No.23/2016 due to lack of socialization by related parties such as Education Office and Head of education unit, and lack of assessment training for teachers of Fine Arts subject, (2) administratively, teachers of Fine Arts subject at senior high schools in Pattallassang subdistrict of Takalar district had set assessment plan program and conducted assessmet, but had not fully referred to Permendikbud No.23/2016, (3) learning result assessment conducted by teachers of Fine Arts subject at senior high schools in Pattallassang subdistrict of Takalar district was generally an assessment merely to meet educational unit so the implementation of assessment principle standard was not conducted as expected.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Annuriyah terletak di Desa Maccini Baji Kecamatan Batang Kabupaten Jeneponto telah memiliki santri sekitar 1000 lebih, telah menamatkan alumni sebanyak 240 santri, terdapat sekitar 50 lebih alumni santri yang belum bekerja secara tetap dan juga belum melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, baik faktor ekonomi, sosial budaya, keluarga, maupun faktor lainnya. Para alumni telah memiliki organisasi yang diberi nama Ikatan Alumni Pondok Pesantren Annuriyah. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memberikan pelatihan keterampilan membuat kaligrafi dari bahan logam bagi para alumni menganggur tersebut, selain itu, para alumni menganggur tersebut juga diberikan pendampingan wirausaha agar mereka lebih kreatif dan mampu membuka usaha sendiri, khususnya usaha dibidang seni kerajinan kaligrafi logam. Luaran yang diharapkan adalah 50 % alumni mengganggur terampil membuat seni kaligrafi logam, minimal 5 orang alumni menganggur bisa membuka usaha bidang seni kerajinan kaligrafi logam, prototif kaligrafi logam sebanyak 10 buah yang sudah terbingkai, Artikel Jurnal nasional. Hasil pelatihan menunjukka dari 27 peserta aluni dan siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan, terdapat tiga peserta yang memiliki kemampuan membuat kaligrafi yang tinggi (nilai di atas 80), enam orang memiliki kompetensi cukup (di bawah 70), dan 18 memiliki kemampuan sedang, hal tersebut dilihat dari estetika kaligrafi dan tingkat kerumitan dari kaligrafi yang dipilih untuk diterapkan. Terdapat lima peserta yang memiliki kemampuan membuat kaligrafi yang tinggi (nilai di atas 80), delapan orang memiliki kompetensi cukup (di bawah 70), dan 14 memiliki kemampuan sedang, hal tersebut dilihat dari kerapihan dan teknik penerapan kaligrafi, selain itu juga tingkat kerumitan saat diterapkan.

Abstract

Keroncong music there is telling original music of Indonesia, there is also mention Portguese music, and other opinion tell result of integration betwen culture of Portuguese with Indonesia culture. Needn’t again opposes to betwen west and east culture because that chang process happened some last century.Keroncong music have dynamics in its growth is started to come people of Portuguese, colonist of Colonialism Dutch, occupying of wartime Japan army until independence of Indonesia have experienced of change from time to time. Transformation of keroncong music in its growth one of them in natural process and also influenced by situation and condition and policy of power of that moment, start from subsidy, facilities and basic facilities which supporting until taking place keroncong music. Throug method of Brosnilaw malinowski writer try to depict change of keroncong music.
